Chapter 3: The Basics: How to Get Stronger
[Day 2]
???: "Hey Nir, what are you guys up to?"
Niira: "we're just registering for a clan, BaekGi these are my roommates Vasilisa and Minzie".
Vasilisa: "Nice to meet you BaekGi"
Minzie: "Hi"
BaekGi: "Likewise, I'm gonna give you guys a tip, East Clan tend to have more members than West, so you could say they usually have higher odds in winning certain events, and by the way I'm an Eastie as well, so if you haven't decided yet you could try out East".
Niira: "But I heard a lot of those West students are stronger".
BaekGi: "Ah yes, a lot of Westies are usually stronger than the average Easties, but hey it balances it out".
Vasilisa: "I did a random and got East".
BaekGi: "Oh, cool welcome aboard comrade, and you two?"
Niira: "I haven't decided yet, but Minzie did a random"
Minzie: "I also got East"
Niira: "Oh cool, then I'll go East as well"
BaekGi: "Ah, I have to go now, I still have one more class, see you guys later".
We then proceeded with the registration and went to our respective classes afterwards.

Instructor: "Good afternoon class" our class stood up and bowed as a greeting to our instructor.
Instructor: "Take your seats, we'll begin with the basics, first take a look at the tablets on top of your desk, put your energy to it and it'll open. This tablet will serve as your id of some sort, it will show your might which indicates how strong you are based on the magical properties you possess, please go take a look at the upper left corner". I checked mine and on the upper left corner close to my picture was a number. "1,000".
Instructor: "Each of you will have different base might, as some of you have might have stronger magical properties, now there are different ways to increase that and one of the basics is through equipment and gems", she then went through her tablet and different types of equipment and colored stones appeared on her table.
Instructor: "Attention class, these are the different basic equipment, they are necessary when you partake in any type of battle within the campus, the hood and armor are for defense, the boots are for dexterity, while the necklace and weapon of choice are for attack, the Guard class will be able to wield a spear, a staff for Physicians, a sword for Gourmets and a fan for Scholars".
I heard someone laugh from my left
Classmate: "I thought Scholars were supposed to be the strongest, a fan seriously?". I pretended to not hear them and focused on the lesson.
The instructor showed us the equipment one by one, they were all shiny and seemed rather heavy.
Instructor: "No, these are not heavy", as if she could read my mind she answered and smiled in my direction.
Instructor: "Though they appear bulky, they were enhanced with magic so that they won't become a burden to the ones wearing them, additionally you can own more than one set of equipment, if you're not wearing them you can store them in your tablets, like this", she showed us where to find the chest to be used for storing.
Instructor: "This tablet has a lot of uses, from storing things to contacting your friends". She then held up a red stone that shined when the light hit it.
Instructor: "This stone is called an attack gem, from the name itself its for attack, with the equipment I showed earlier only the weapon and necklace can hold such stones, and a max of 3 stones can be held by each piece of equipment. The other stones you can put in your necklace and weapon are critical and accuracy gems, one enhances the maximum additional damage your attack can produce while the other ensures that your attack won't miss its target", she then held up a purple and pink gem.
Instructor: "Now for defense equipment, we have defense gem, resilience gem, and health gem", she showed us three kinds of gems, a yellow, white, and green gem.
Instructor: "Lastly for the dexterity equipment, we only have the agility and evasion gems to put there", she then held up an orange and blue gem.
Instructor: "Equipment and gems can be enhanced, you'll need certain materials to be able to advance a piece of equipment, while for gems you'll have to synthesize similar gems to be able to obtain a stronger one, both will be discussed in detail later on". The bell rang indicating the end of the period.
Instructor: "That will be all for today, class dismissed".

Minzie: "1,000..."
Niira: "Oh don't make that face, I'm sure it'll get better later on".
Minzie: "I do hope so, I don't wanna get kicked out just yet".
