Chapter 16: Phoenix Egg
"It really is a Phoenix egg" thought Stefan while looking at the red-golden egg.
There was a lot of people excited about the news about a phoenix egg.
"As you know a phoenix once that chooses its master till he dies, the phoenix will not leave him or betray him. Having a phoenix as a partner is something to be proud of, and as every bird the first thing they saw consider to be its family." said the host of the auction, while smiling at everyone.
"The auction from the phoenix egg starts at 500k galleons every increase must be at least for 10k galleons."
"550k Galleons" said an old man with a clown mask on his face.
"570k Galleons" said a woman with a butterfly gold mask on her.
"600k Galleons" said a man with a hood that didn't show his face.
"620k Galleons" said a woman with a butterfly gold mask on her face.
"630k Galleons" said an old man with a clown mask on his face.
"640k Galleons" said a woman with a phoenix golden mask on her face.
"Fuck, I can't even do a proper bid." thought Stefan while looking at his 19k galleons in his briefcase.
"Where the fuck is Borgin... Sigh even with the money he owes me it is not enough for the egg." thought Stefan while paying attention at the bid, the bidding war was between 4 people they kept increasing the price till two people were the only ones bidding.
"700k Galleons, I really need this egg gentleman, it would the best thing for you to leave this bid." said the man with a golden mask of a dragon.
"750k Galleons, Sorry but this is an auction if you want it then buy it." said the lady with a golden mask of a butterfly.
"800k Galleons" said the man with the golden mask of a dragon while snorting.
"Is there someone else who wants to bid for the phoenix egg? remember this is a rare opportunity..., ok then the egg is going to the man with the dragon mask at one.... at two..... three... Sold to the man with the dragon mask."
"Now every buyer of the auction please come to take your items with me, please." Said the purple hair lady as she walked behind the booth.
"I will get that egg one way or another..." thought Stefan as his eyes turned black with silver iris.
Stefan stayed sit on his chair as he closed his eyes and start seeing everything behind the booth, every customer that went inside pay and receive his item and then they apparated away. He saw as the man with the dragon mask paid the money and received his golden-red egg, the purple hair lady tried to flirt with him but the man paid no attention to her, and as he said goodbye he apparated away.
The moment the man with the dragon mask apparated away, people apparate at the same time in front of where the man apparated, and followed him. The girl with the purple hair ignored everything that happened in front of her as she smiled and turned around and walked away from there.
"Now is the moment." said Stefan as he apparated beside the space the man apparated away. He felt the space fluctuations, and entering the space and leaving the space take him wherever the man apparated. As he apparated on a forest, he felt another space fluctuation two steps in front of him, and followed him again, he was apparating from point to point at the 10th time he apparated, he noticed the scenery was an old castle, there was a battle royale there...two wizards were already dead on the ground with their eyes opened filled with regret and one of them was the man with the phoenix mask on his face, while 6 wizards were casting spell after spell.
"Lets practice..." thought Stefan with a smile on his face.
"Avada Kedavra" said Stefan as he pointed with his index finger at one wizard that was dodging a spell from another wizard and couldn't dodge his spell on time, the wizard got hit on the head and dropped dead with his eyes opened.
Everyone started paying attention at the newcomer that did wandless magic, but they still kept casting their spells, "Bombarda" "Confringo" while two of them were directed at Stefan, he smirked as he saw that and said "Protego" said Stefan as he saw a semi-black mist appeared in front of him and deviated the spells to one of the wizards that were casting spells to another wizard, the wizard noticed the spell coming to him and said "Protego" and a white light appeared in front of him, but the spell started cracking but in the end resisted as he thought he had avoided a calamity he heard a voice saying "Confringo" and a black blast broke completely the protego spell and the wizard was send flying over 3 meters while missing a hand and a leg.
As Stefan was looking over the wizard with no hand and leg, he was about to cast a spell to finish him, but heard two spells being casted "Avada Kedavra" "Reducto" as he saw the green bolt lightning coming his way he counters with his own curse "Avada Kedavra" said rapidly while pointing with one index finger at the green bolt of lightning that was coming to him, Stefan saw as his own black bolt of lightning collide with the enemy and stayed connected while his black bolt of lightning was pushing the green one to the caster of that curse and then said protego while the other hand materialized a semi-black mist in front of him to shield himself for the Reducto spell, he saw as the spell impact the semi-black mist in front of him, but the black mist didn't move a bit as it stayed firm in front of him, and the Reducto spell vanish.
While Stefan and the other wizard were pushing their own death curse while being connected, another wizard took the opportunity while pointing his wand at Stefan and cast his own death curse "Avada Kedavra" a green bolt of light came out of his wand in direction of Stefan as he saw that he sneered, and dissolved rapidly the protego spell and cast another death curse "Avada Kedavra" said Stefan while pointing with his other hand at the green bolt of lightning and saw how another black bolt of lightning coming from his index finger and colliding with the new killing curse midair his black bolt of lightning was pushing both of the wizards curses.
"Hahahaha, come on, is that all you have ?" said Stefan while laughing.
The others 3 wizards including the one with no hand and leg, look at each other and nodded. "Avada Kedavra" said the three of them while pointing with their wands at Stefan, three green bolts of lightning were coming at Stefan, the wizards saw at how Stefan smiled at them and said "Avada Kedavra" two dark bolts of lightning came out of his right hand more specifically from his middle finger and ring finger, and another dark bolt lightning came from his other hand, from the middle finger all of the dark bolts of lightning collided in mid-air with the others death curses.
"Hahahaha, tell me who has the egg... the one giving me the egg will leave this place alive." said Stefan as he put more power in his killing curses and saw how all the black bolts of lightning in mid-air started pushing more rapidly their respectively green bolts of lightning.
"Ok... if you prefer it this way, let's do it." said Stefan as he put more power in the killing curses of his right hand and saw how the black bolts of lightning rapidly approached the two wizards he was engaged with, till the black bolts of lightning completely pushed the green killing curses and the wizards got hit by the killing curses on their chests, they dropped dead as marionettes which strings were cut off.
"Hahahaha, now it's your turn" said Stefan as he put more power in the killing curses of his left hand, the same thing repeated again the black bolts of lightning started pushing rapidly the green killing curses as the wizard in the middle was about to lose control over his killing curse he shouted "The one with no leg and hand has the egg inside his magic pouch."
"Ok... let me check that" said Stefan as he pushed every black bolt of lightning till the killing curse hit the other two wizards including the man with no hand and leg.
"Now... I will not cancel the killing curse till I got the egg, so if you move a little bit, I'll kill you, understand ?" said Stefan as he started walking to the corpse of the man with no leg and hand while keeping his killing curse connected to the green one. He saw a golden string on the neck of the man and said "accio" the string was connected to a golden pouch that flew to his hand, as he opened it, he saw the golden-red egg in a corner of the pouch surrounded by thousands and thousands of galleons. "Hmmm who was that person who bought so easily this egg? well, it doesn't matter anymore now its mine." thought Stefan as he canceled his killing curse and dodged the green bolt of lightning by sidestepping to the right.
"Get out of here, before I change my mind" said Stefan as he saw the wizard apparating away immediately.
"A reaper is supposed to be coming here to collect their souls... at least the ones predestinated, let's see my progress..." thought Stefan as he concealed all the souls he has eaten with his powers, and sat down on the floor and said "Sectumsempra" while pointing at his left shoulder with his index finger, a white slash came out of his finger and cut deeply his shoulder that started bleeding. "I must cancel my regeneration powers for the moment" thought Stefan as he concentrated on not healing, and saw the wound stopped closing and stayed open while red-black blood was flowing from his shoulder. "Time to act" thought Stefan as he smirked.
Minutes later an old man with a black suit appeared in front of a body. "Huh... I was only supposed to collect 4 souls... why are 7 dead people here instead of 4... an affront to the natural things of life" said the old man with a deep voice while looking at the bodies.
Stefan was sitting on the floor panting while grabbing his left shoulder. He stood up and started walking in the direction of the corpse the reaper was standing in front of.
"Huh a human... maybe I should check his memories and see who did this... but I don't have permission or the seniority to decide these things and acting without being an emergency, I will surely get punished" thought the reaper as he saw the wizard with the Hanya mask on his face coming to him. "Can he see me?, it is impossible unless he's one of those ants who like to summoned us..." as he thought about that, the reaper saw how the wizard crouch in front of the corpse and started taking his belongings. "Huh, just a petty robber" thought the reaper while showing a disgusted face.
Stefan was being careful by pretending to robbed the corpse, he saw heard what the reaper said "Lets first take the souls, later I will report this" Stefan waited for an opportunity as he acted as he was checking his spoils of war while kneeling in front of the corpse. He saw as the reaper crouched to take the soul of the dead wizard when he saw that he thought "It is now or never" as Stefan said "Sigh I have to clean this corpses quickly or I will get caught..."as Stefan said that he walked two steps till he got beside the reaper that was crouching, and quickly said "Avada Kedavra" while pointing rapidly at the reaper with his left hand, while with the other hand he separated a bit of black smog of his body and turned into a black sword, and slashed at the reaper with all his strength.
The reaper was crouching when he saw the human standing and walking near him and heard him saying "Sigh I have to clean this corpses quickly or I will get caught..." the reaper sneered and proceed to take the soul out of the dead body, and then he saw as the aura of the wizard change into a dark one, but couldn't react as he was extracting the soul of the human, the only thing he saw was a black bolt of lightning, a black cluster of flames, and the human slashing at him with a black sword. "I will kill him after taking.....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" thought the reaper with a sneered as he thought the attacks were not going to be effective on him, but little by little he got destroyed and reconstructed, time and time again, till he saw his body crumble in dust.
"Hahahahahaha, motherfucker I killed him."Stefan shouted with ecstasy as he saw a grey soul on the floor. He crouched and took it "Hahahaha, now lets take the souls of the wizards quickly I don't want to wait and test my luck with another reaper." said Stefan as he kept the grey soul in his chest and rapidly took all the souls of the wizards and again kept them in his chest as he apparated away.
Stefan apparated away to the orphanage inside the attic, "hahaha let's see my spoils of war..." said Stefan as he took out all the souls he had from his chest and put them on a table, then he took the golden pouch from his waist and opened it and took the golden-red egg out from the pouch and carefully put it on the table, Stefan watched with a satisfied smile at his spoils, he took one of the new souls a wizard soul. "Huh so wizards souls are blue ones... with black spots representing their sins...I wonder how much power will they give me.... but I need a lot of souls to make the phoenix egg to be alive... what should I do... Or what if I use the soul of the reaper on the phoenix egg... it has too much energy...it should be able to awaken the egg with no problem...but it represents another 4-5% percent of power that I can unlock...."
