Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Lola in the eye
Evans Lee was a checking an right eye of his patient. His patient came last week with excruciating pain in his right eyeball as if there is something crawling and digging his eyeball. His right eye became so red as he always scrub his eye. Evans smile like a devil as if he found his next victim to kill. "Yup! Found you lil Lola." Evans use his forcep and slowly take out the worms around 13cm from his patient eyeball to make sure its not cut and came out perfectly in one piece.
The nurse beside him, was winking her eyes with eerie vision though she was familiar with the eerie situation, but this is not a everyday cases. Evans hands on the worm into the bowl handed by his nurse. " wow, its great, is it?" Evans pulled out his mask and smile victoriously to his nurse. "i did not see any greatness in this doctor. Its really disturbing. I hope i can sleep and dreaming with apple pie. Not this." Nurse May put the worm inside the bottle and starts to clean up. Evans pats his patient shoulder. "You can rest for a while. No need to be warded. I will see you after this , ok. All is well".
Dr Evans Lee is an Ophthalmologist. He is specialist in any eye disease. He was very fascinating with the new case he is handling right now. Since this is city, Loiasis is not very common since the parasite was mostly found in Africa. The patient had returned from 1 week vacation in Africa and the parasite seems to be very attracted to this green eyed patient. He explained everything and assured the patient that he will be fine and just consume all the pills as his prescribe. He also shows the worms in the bottle to his patient. This would be his next specimen. He was glad he does not need to fly to Africa to have this gracefully Lola.
