Chapter 2: Fairy Grandmother

"You look elegant yourself." Heaven smiled. 

Then she crouched to look at their children. "My beautiful princess and my handsome prince. Did you have fun going out today?" 

"Yes. I caught a spider," Nadine said. "But I couldn't bring it home."

"Why is that?" Heaven asked. 

"Because this is not his home. I shouldn't separate him from his family, but I promised to visit again." 

Heaven smiled. "Well done." She said, giving her a hug before turning to Eugene. "And what did my handsome prince do?"

He shrugged. "I don't like spiders. I like horses. When can I start to ride, Your Majesty?" 

She stroked his head. "You are growing fast. Soon you will have your own horse."

"And a sword?" 

"And a sword." She added. 

His lips curved into a smile, and Heaven kissed them both. 

"Why don't we all go outside?" Zamiel suggested, and both his children already looked excited.
