"Big brother! This is so boring why does I have to learn how to read and write? How will it help me in becoming a kickass shinobi? Why can't I read those books on Chakra, Taijutsu, Genjutsu, Fuinjutsu, etc? Those books looks a lot more helpful in making me a kickass shinobi than these boring tasks, aren't they, Big bro? So please let me see them!" said Naruto using his infamous puppy dog eye jutsu.
"Huh! Naruto, if you don't learn how to read and write, then you will not be able to read these books which means no kickass jutsu... now complete those tasks..." I explained to him.
"So once I learn to read and write properly, you will let me have those books?" asked Naruto excitedly.
"Yes! little bro!" I answered and returned to my own studies.
SOMETIME LATER,
ORPHANAGE...
"Hey big bro! Why can't I tell grandma Biwako how kickass ninja we are and the location of our secret hideout?" asked Naruto curiously.
I sighed and asked, "Tell me! little bro! Why does the evil magican lost to the hero in the story that I told u the other day?"
"Well because the hero was kickass! hehe!" replied Naruto.
"Narutooo...!" I raised my voice.
"Ok! Ok! big bro! don't be angry, the evil magican lost because the hero found out his secrets!" replied Naruto.
"Exactly! If everybody found out our secrets then..." I trailed off.
"Ohh! I never thought like that big bro, I will not tell anybody about our secrets ever" answered Naruto earnestly.
Soon, once Naruto learns reading and writing, which will not be so difficult because I made him use shadow clones, we will start learning the theoretical knowledge behind the Shinobi arts and history, geography, literature, etc of this world from the books I have collected.
You were probably wondering how did I got those books... Well the books on literature, maths, geography, history, etc; I stole them from the would be Genins.
As for the books on shinobi arts...
1.The Chakra and its Properties :- I stole it from a group of gennins when they were too exhausted and are not paying attention along with some other books.
2.Taijutsu: The youthful Art:-I got it from Might Guy when he was distributing it throughout the village after somebody challenged him that he can't become a good writer(That somebody is you know who).
3.Genjutsu: Hallucinations:-It was written by previous Kurama Clan Head. I stole it from a Genin's bag when she was outside playing in the recess hours in the Konoha Academy.
4.Fuinjutsu: The Holy Art:-This was a book I found in the abonded Uzumaki Noah Mask Temple.
5.Kenjutsu: The way of the Sword:-I Bought it from Higurashi weapons store using transformation jutsu and the money I received during my birthday.
6.Shurikenjutsu: The Deadly Precision:-I also bought it from Higurashi.
So I have started learning Taijutsu and Kenjutsu using the two fission clones, one for Taijutsu and the other for kenjutsu. The exercises described in those books are just the general katas to lay solid foundation in the said arts.
I haven't got any luck in finding a book describing specific Taijutsu styles like the strong fist of Gai or kenjutsu style like the Cresent Moon Dance used by Leaf kenjutsu masters. So I am just learning simple katas. And my clones are learning the theoretical knowledge (10 shadow clones at a time).
Naruto too has mastered the Transformation, Substitution and even the Body flicker jutsu, surprising me again, in which I have no luck at learning.
But thanks to him and his unpredictability, I managed to deduce the mechanism behind body flicker jutsu and learnt it properly, truly he is the most spectacular, unpredictable surprising ninja ever.
Currently, Naruto's chakra control is poor but it is to be expected since I have been doing chakra control exercises and meditation for a very long time compared to him.
But he is quickly improving it and well on his way in mastering the wall walking excercise due to the shadow clones's help.
Our training is coming along fine and I am satisfied with our progress.
The hyperactivity of Naruto has lessened a little these days since he began practicing meditation excercises. Yesterday, he completed the wall walking excercise and has started bugging me to teach him the water walking one.
So I took him to the hidden river I found at the outskirts of the Forest of Death where he has started training. Actually, it's not hidden, it's just nobody goes there due to it's close proximity to the forest of death so it a good place to learn water walking in secret.
The water of the river is crystal clear so it's a very good riverfront for fishing and fish is a good source of protein so I am a frequent visitor of this river for fishing. l have decided tomorrow, I am going to teach him the joy's of fishing and a lesson.
NEXT DAY....
It was so hilarious to watch Naruto try fishing. He kept his cool for quite some time which in my eyes was a very major improvement considering how impatient he is. Whenever the fishes comes near his fishing hook, he quickly pulls it out and the fish slips from it, he has kept trying and trying, again and again.
During this he complained a lot about how the fishes are not fair with him or how my hook is better than his or how my fishing place has a lot more fishes than his.
So I exchanged the fishing rods, later our places but none worked for him.
When I caught my third one, he snapped and jumped in the river screaming, "You stupid slippery fishes! come here I will show you who is the boss!" He lasted for one hour and thirty seven minutes. It's progress considering his hyperactivity.
"Naruto! Come out of the river... I will teach you how to do it!" I said.
"Really big bro!" he inquired, since I didn't helped him out during this at all.
I nodded and helped him change his clothes. I brought the spares because I knew something like this will happen.
"Now listen! The reason I managed to caught three whereas you caught none is simple: I have patience which you lack. Its the key factor in fishing. Now Let's try again!" I said.
I took him to the other side of the river and started instructing him.
SOME TIME LATER...
"Wohoo! I caught one big bro! And it's a big one." said Naruto excitedly.
"Why did you managed to do it this time?" I asked him.
"Because I let the fish have a chance to take the bait and I was patient unlike the other time." said Naruto.
"Exactly! Remember Naruto! Patience is the key to success and a shinobi without patience is just asking for death. This lesson is the real reason why I taught you fishing. Never forget it!" I said seriously.
He nodded and said, "Yes bro!"
Then we roasted the fishes, ate them and we left the area using continuous body flicker jutsu and arrived at the temple. I felt a little weird and nauseous but Naruto looked fine.
Our situation at the orphanage has degraded so I have decided to get rid of the orphanage and get us a home(apartment). Since I am sick of the unfair treatment, animosity and neglect that the matron shows us. I am just waiting for the right time and I will put my plans to actions to get a apartment for ourselves.
2 YEARS AND 11 MONTHS OLD
In the past two months I have waited for that opportunity and it came, the hidden leaf village is in chaos since Orochimaru's treachery is discovered two weeks ago which means Danzo's assassination attempt on Third Hokage has failed. It also means currently Danzo will not oppose Hiruzen's decision atleast for sometime so that he could be in his good graces again.
Thus its a perfect time to put the plan 'Bye Bye Orphanage' into action.
And without any opposition from Danzo I am sure it will succeed.
