Chapter 6: A Non-romantic Date
Carter's POV
I was sitting down in her game room and we were playing RDRII when I kept dying and I had no idea why. 'Wait so how do you kill them?' I asked while she was just killing them like crazy.
'Hang on dude!' She said into her mouth piece connected to her headphones then pointed at something on my remote and looked back at the TV. 'No no no! You idiot!' She yelled into her mouthpiece then swung her head over the back of the beanbag and threw her headphones off and we I heard the guy from the other end say, 'Haha! That's what you get for winning yesterday!' She turned off the TV and her PS4 then put her head phones neatly back in the bin with the others. 'You.. hungry?' she asked then I handed her my controller and she put it up where she put hers on the shelf. 'Sure I could eat.' I said while standing up out of her other beanbag. 'Cool. I know a place downtown.'
We took Cooper back to my Penthouse and brought Piper along with us to eat. Once we got there, we sat down at a booth and I sat next to Sofia while Piper sat across from us and colored on the paper that our waitress gave her along with yellow, red, and blue crayons.
Carter- So Piper, what do you do for fun?
Piper- I either mess with Sofia or I play with my dolls.
Carter- Oh really? And what do you do exactly to mess with her?
Sofia- Don't tell him piper!
Piper- *giggles* Come here.
Carter- *leans in*
Piper- *whispers* I eat her secret stash of candy or I take her phone.
Carter- Heh, I'll try that sometime.
I wink at her and she tries to wink back. I laugh then look at Sofia who has her elbows on the table and is resting her head in them while having a moody expression. I shove her and one of her elbows slips off the table and she laughs and looks at me leaving us both blushing.
After about 20 minutes, we eat then I order desert and we keep on talking and joking around.
Piper- *stands in the booth then puts one finger in between her eyebrows like a unibrow and talks in a deep voice* I'm Sofia's teacher and I say you must do fifty sheets of homework! Har har har!'
We all laugh then Piper's sits back down.
Piper- How about a little Q & A?
Carter- Sure.
Piper- Okay so first, are you two dating?
Me and Sofia blush then look different ways.
Piper- Hah, you guys are to easy.
The desert comes and we sit up straighter like normal. Sofia glances at me and smiles so I do the same.
Sofia- Okay, my turn.
