An ok short story by the author. I am conflicted because I would have preferred Yel to stay true to himself instead of changing at the last minute. It is ok to be friends, no need to force a relationship. It would have been nice to get the FL a new love interest or none because it was such a short story that lacked so much. And I hate when bullies gets rewarded no matter what their circumstance was.

I like the strength of the female lead. I touched my heart how she left her heart open for him to see. I just really thought the story was great.
Anyways this novel is short but manages to capture a lot of emotions in 5 chapters. Was slightly confused abt the world they were in just because it was short and omitted some details about that. A good read as Max learns to love.. I would like a short chapter abt their future lives if possible .. too cute lol Btw the ***** warning thing isn't that bad, it does talk abt s** but it doesn't happen. It does have some "suggestive" (no not n*de) scenes
