Chapter 4: CH. 4 Story, Vow, and Training
Shiro was meditating when he senses that Ichie and Akira were closing in on him so he decided to end his meditation and wait for them to come to him.
"Shiro, I want you to help us," Akira said, Ichie just nodded alongside her.
When She wanted to speak Shiro put a finger on Ichie mouth and said, "I can read your memories, it would be faster than talking anyway and I get to see the clear picture, of course, that's if you would allow me to do so."
Ichie nodded and Shiro's palm touched her forehead and he began to channel his mana. This is possible because Shiro had learned how to read memories from the soul training he'd been doing for the past years. He able to read people's memories but only if he devoured their souls or they allow him to do so.
He then searched her memories and found what he's looking for, he saw her past her happiness and her sadness and grief when she's suffering from the demise of her tribe. He then felt angry and disgusted and what the demon order the golems to do. He then looked at her sadly and with a tint of relief in his face as she had gone through the same pain as he did.
She looked at his face with Akira looking in the sidelines curiously, as she saw his face she was startled that he looked a little relief but then his face was replaced with a blank one, but she could tell that he was thoroughly pissed and was angry.
Shiro then turned around, "I would help you in your revenge but with one condition." They looked at him waiting for him to say the condition, "I want you to be my companions." They were startled but nodded as long as they could avenge their clan and it also seems that Shiro himself isn't a bad person.
They both then raised their paw to the sky and say together, "I, Otonashi Ichie..." "I, Yukishiro Akira..."
"We both vow to follow Shiro the winter beast to the ends of time, be his companion in any situation and would help him to the best of our abilities."
Shiro then smiled a little and said: "I, Shiro The Beast of Winter would look after Otonashi Ichie and Yukishiro Akira forever and would always be there to help and support them."
The three then put their hand and paws together, "If I broke this vow my soul shall be destroyed and never to enter the cycle of reincarnation again."
The three then laughed, "So much for being a familiar." Akira said while giggling, "Yeah let's not do that again." Ichie said,
"Well since you've become my companion, then let's train you to get you up to shape and able to get revenge by yourself," Shiro then smiled sinisterly at them. To which Akira and Ichie got chills for what to come for their future.

Shiro then imparts them the knowledge about how to train their physical body, magic, and how to obtain a human form. The start of their training is rough as they're from a peaceful tribe who doesn't battle. But over time they got the hang of it and starts to train by themselves without Shiro supervising them.
-Months Later-
Ichie and Akira finally got their human form (just search for Ichie Otonashi and Akira Yukishiro on google) and they also found a new source of magic except for mana they call it the nature energy as they take them from the surrounding nature. Naturally, both of them got Ice affinity from the surroundings and Ichie had an innate wind affinity while Akira had an innate water affinity both of them isn't bad but Shiro could only guide Akira throughout her training in mastering the water elements as Shiro hadn't dwell deep into the Water magic.
The rate at which their improving is insane, it almost matches the speed in which Shiro improves. They both also started to use a weapon to help their fighting style when they asked Shiro for a weapon he gives them the list in which he knows and surprisingly both of them choose a rather unique weapon. Ichie chooses a Gunsen (A type of a battle fan) which fits rather well with her as she uses wind elements more than Ice and Akira chooses a lance. (Yes I changed her weapon from a jousting lance to a lance. Because jousting lance is kind of weak in real combat.)
Alongside them, Shiro chooses to use the mainstream weapon a katana. They trained in the weapon arts even though Shiro focuses more on strengthening his soul rather than weapon style, he did create a style that fits for him. The others also did the same.
Ichie named her style 'Ghost Dance' as it focuses on sending waves of wind undetected and surprising her enemy she also her style focuses on counter-attacking and defending rather than attacking directly.
Unlike Ichie who focuses on counter-attacking, sneak attack, and defending, Akira chooses to focus on offensive and countering capabilities she named her style 'Celestial Siren'.
Shiro creates an all-rounder art focusing on all aspects but focuses more on speed, as he felt in a sword battle the one with more speed would win in any confrontation. He named his style 'Eternal Rest'
