Chapter 83: Meeting Again

Bei Li Yan can't stop giggling, he became fond of this future madam more than before, She's not timid or quiet like he thought she would be, she's a sensible woman who knew when to talk and when to be quiet, she not flaunt his relationship with Zhao Li Xin but not hide it either, she even can balance Zhao Li Xin impulsive temperament with her calm demeanor overall this future madam didn't lack anything except background family and strength but with his Lord as her backer who needs one.

"We must never let our guard down from the Huang Siblings" Jin Hao warns everyone.

"Why is woman always obsessed with you, Milord?" Bei Li Yan sighs helplessly.

Zhao Li Xin squinted his eyes at Bei Li Yan, he didn't do anything to that woman he did not even remember her How could Bei Li Yan say as if this was his fault?

Lory giggles softly "The problem It's not just that Huang sister, didn't you see how is the Huang brother looking at Li Xin?"

Jin Hao is confused he actually doesn't pay attention to Huang Zi Feng before he asks Lory "What do you mean?"

"Just say it, soon or later Huang's siblings will come for all of you, well It bounds to happen" Lory saw the contempt look from Huang Zi Feng, it reminded her of someone from the past, she had forgotten who the kids name but she sure he's from a foreign country.

If she remembers correctly he was supposed to be a noble or from an old money family, Lory remembers that Kid always challenged Lucas at every opportunity he had no matter if it was a study, martial arts, or even women he would always challenge Lucas and when he wins he will look at Lucas smugly, sadly Lucas never knew there was a competition between them.

Obviously, it is a one-sided rivalry because Lucas never realizes the kid's burning desire to win over him but other than the study the kid never win over Lucas but that's because Lucas always falls asleep during exam and have too many absent on his attendance report but still, he managed to be the top five at the school board, Everyone in Cestine Palace knew Lory was a diligent one however, Lucas was actually the genius one.

Lory looked at Zhao Li Xin's face, She had a feeling the situation between Huang Zi Feng and Zhao Li Xin would be like Lucas and that poor kid, Zhao Li Xin felt her intense gaze at him he then turned his gaze down then he smiled back at her.

When they entered the forbidden forest they were greeted by a grove of trees as high as the sky with long thick branches overgrown with dense leaves. The ground where they stood was very slippery because it was overgrown with moss and rotten leaves. Luckily Lory wore boots if not she wouldn't know how many times she would fall.

Lory hears the sound of wild animals and birds chirping around them and it's a good sign, meaning there are no predators around them, She's been exploring the jungle so many times she becomes a proficient hunter.

Lory brings out the Bow and arrow from her spatial rings and puts the dagger under her arms so it would be easy to take out in case of an emergency. Lory also slips more small knives inside her boots just to be saved, just like Fargo used to say 'There's no such thing as too much weapon' so as a good student she will always listen to her mentor's advice.

Zhao Li Xin and everyone watch Lory meticulously prepare herself, she wears the glove on her hands and then clenches her fist to make sure the glove fits so it won't hinder her movement. Lory was calm and steady as if she'd been doing this all her life, she didn't realize how weird she looked in other people's eyes.

"Okay, I'm ready!" Lory puts her cloak inside her spatial ring cause the robes hinder her movement too much and the weather inside the forest is quite humid so she doesn't need a robe, After she finishes Lory looks like a professional hunter.

"Miss Luo, you seem used to this?" Jin Hao's curiosity suddenly peaks, why so many questions about this woman?

Lory smiles wryly "Yeah…..is like a hobby" Lory brushes it off, she's not entirely lying it is like a hobby for her.

But no one believed her, what kinda woman who has a hobby becomes a hunter even a cultivator woman rarely enters the forest if not necessary, but they did not probe further they just got more curious about her.

Zhao Li Xin frowned he remembered meeting her the first time in the forest as well then they found her again inside the forest, so is it possible that she likes to take a stroll in the forest, How dangerous that could be.

Suddenly they hear a rustle behind the tree and immediately become vigilant They all make a fighting stance while Lory swiftly draws her arrow she prepares to shoot whatever coming from the tree.

Unexpectedly, a woman in a tattered pink dress staggered towards them, her face covered in sweat and dirt as if she had wiped her face on the ground, the woman's hair was messy and tangled until it looked like there was a bird's nest on top of her head, the woman beamed when she saw Zhao Li Xin's group.

"Who are you?" Mong Ki drew his sword while standing in front of Zhao Li Xin and Lory because Lory saw the woman, as not a threat he lowered his bow, Her calm and decisiveness amazed Jin Hao and Bei Li Yan, including the Mong brother cause they had seen a lot of amateurs whether they are cultivator or ordinary soldier, they would likely accidentally release their arrow from panic and fear, therefore only now they were convinced Lory was the real hunter, however, Zhao Li Xin had mixed feelings about this.

Back to the tattered dress girl, she looks very much in distress "I'm Ming Ru Yi, we meet outside before…"

Bei Li Yan clapped his hands excitedly "The Fancy group!"

"Oh, it's them" Jin Hao looked at Ming Ru Yi still while covering her nose with his sleeves, he hated dirty people the most.

Ming Ru Yi felt wronged she wanted to cry as she let this group of handsome men see her miserable appearance not to mention her 'crush' also there but things already happened, what else she could do?

"It is me, I got separated from my group...can you help me" She blinked her eyes a few times like a little rabbit, soon her eyes became watery and her red lips quivered, She tried to look as pitiful as she could thinking any normal Men would not able to resist a damsel in distress, right? unfortunately, The Hei Shen sect members are not normal men.

"I can't" Jin Hao replied swiftly without need to think.

"Ugh, I'm too lazy…" Bei Li Yan shrugs his shoulder casually.

"Meh…" Zhao Li Xin grunts vaguely.

Mong Ki and Mong Yi did not sound a word since they would do whatever their Lord asked them so if Zhao Li Xin said nothing they wouldn't bother either.

Lory sighed inwardly 'Talk about 'cold to the core'

Ming Ru Yi was dumbfounded, This trick never failed before even her father Emperor would give to her when she acted like this but why these men are so heartless and cruel, Even the man she had a crush on didn't bother even say a word since she appeared.

However, what makes Ming Ru Yi truly depressed is they might truly leave her out all alone in this forest if that happened she would absolutely die. With trembling hands Ming Ru Yi begins to plead wholeheartedly"Young master, please help me...don't leave me here, I don't want to die…" Ming Ru Yi reach for Zhao Li Xin's robes thinking she would pretend to be weak but to no avail, Mong Yi and Mong Ki stop her.

They know If Ming Ru Yi touches their Lord's robe forget about being left alone in the forest, their Lord will eliminate her right here - right now, Ming Ru Yi didn't know the Mong's brother's kind intention toward her instead Ming Ru Yi feels upset she can't get close to her crush.

Lory scratches her head though she doesn't like this woman keeps staring at Zhao Li Xin wantonly like a fat kid staring at candy but she also feels unable to leave the Christmas tree girl in the forest by herself.

"We can let her just follow us until we find her groups or send her to other groups, I think everyone would like to have a princess in their group, right?" Lory tries to make an excuse to save Ming Ru Yi, but she also worries that other people know they left a fifteen-year-old princess in the middle of nowhere.

No matter what she is still the Liangzu princess, They are already in a cold war with the Jiang Wei kingdom therefore is unwise for the Hei Shen sect to fight with the Liangzu Kingdom as well, Jin Hao and Bei Li Yan agree with Lory's decision, and Zhao Li Xin do not refute her either.

Lory hoped that Ming Ru Yi would not have any misunderstandings with Zhao Li Xin and the other attitude for thinking she could rely on Zhao Li Xin and the others for help for Lory knowing fully the temperament of Zhao Li Xin's people so if something happened it would be impossible for them to lend their hand to help Ming Ru Yi.

Lory doesn't understand why she makes a triumph face "Good for you….." Lory praised sincerely with a big smile like a kindergarten teacher praised her little student.

Ming Ru Yi's face turns dark in a normal situation she would already scratch Lory's annoying face just when she becomes more hostile Zhao Li Xin pulls Lory towards him and then warns Ming Ru Yi with a vicious glare, all of the sudden Ming Ru Yi feels cold sweat on her back she immediately looks down tremble in fear, she did not dare to look at Zhao Li Xin anymore.

"Take care of yourself, none of us will help you…." Zhao Li Xin with a cold and indifferent tone, then Zhao Li Xin held Lory's hand and walked with her without giving any more glance at Ming Ru Yi, the others also did not bother with Ming Ru Yi they followed Zhao Li Xin without glancing at her.

Ming Ru Yi bites her lips, at the same time, the corner of her eyes brimmed with tears sadness, disappointment, and anger grew inside her heart like wild grass.
