Chapter 1: BACK TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED (1)
"Jin run... tell your brother and your cousins that you need to get out of here now... all of you must leave before it's too late. I don't think your grandfather could make it on time."
The teenage girl widen her eyes, realizing that this might be the last time that she will be seeing her uncle. A lot of thought is swirling on her mind. Her stubborn side wanted to stay and be with her uncle but her rational side of mind tells her that she will only get on his way. So against her will, she left.
She heard the exchange of gun shots but knows better than to look back to check the situation.
Then an explosion occur knocking her out of consciousness
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to ***** Airport. Local time is 4:14 pm..."
The intercom wakes Jin up from her nightmare that she just could never get rid of.
"I've had too much of a drink." She murmurs as she clean herself and prepares to leave the plane.
The bustling of the airport is something that she's already used to so she was able to easily passed through the sea of crowd trying to board their planes or get the hell out of there.
"Now who would have thought..." She silently chuckles at the idea of her coming back in this country. She grew up in this city but due to some circumstances in the past, she or rather her entire family had to flee. It's been eight years but the memories are still clearly itch on her mind and she have her nightmares to thank for that.
She immediately stop herself from going through what happened again. Regaining her composure she went ahead and hail a cab.
After 30 minutes, she stopped in front of a glorious archway. The driver looked at her as if confirming if they are at the right location. She told him to continue driving.
They entered the long pathway and observed that the tress on the surrounding forest are a lot denser than what it used to be.
"Ah, young miss where exactly around here is your house?" The driver asked a little tense and worried that the young lady might be setting him up for a trap as he has never been in this area of the city. Heck with his years being a cab driver he didn't even know that such a place exist and he is a native to begin with.
"Just go straight ahead," Jin instructed him.
10 minutes later they've finally reached their destination. Though the house is a bit far from the humongous gate. The four-story building can still be seen from where they are with a fusion of both ancient and modern style of architecture, painted black and white for the brick wall, aqua blue for the concrete walls, and silver metallic on the edges of the blue fiberglass.
A sea of emotion hits her. Joy, sorrow, fury and anguish this house held a lot of memories both good ones and bad ones. All she could do is sigh there's no turning back now. She is already here.
After calming down, she check her fare rate and paid for it. "You can keep the change sir, and I'm sorry if my house is a bit far." She sincerely apologized.
"Oh no, it's okay miss." The driver protested and insisted on giving her change.
"Sir I insist besides I don't think you'll be able to pick any passenger on your way out of this area," Jin told him.
"Alright then miss if that's what you truly want. Your parents are lucky to have a child as considerate as you." He smiled then helped her with her luggage before leaving.
Jin is about to enter the code at the security screen located on the left side of the gate when she heard a roar of an engine behind her. Out of curiosity she turned around and saw a yellow sports car approaching, then frowned when the car stops right in front of her. The driver comes out and boy she was shocked when she saw who it was.
"JIN? WHAT THE FUCKING HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?"
