Chapter 297: Help soothe your anger

"What have you been up to?" Amanda asked the next time she met Mia. 

The latter gave her the sweetest smile. "Nothing much. I've been finding ways to please Shera… you know, so we can make up." 

Amanda didn't notice the slyness in her daughter's eyes and was even happy to hear about it. "You don't have to please her. It's alright as long as the two of you have a talk." 

Mia gave a fake smile and then quickly looked aside. Why was everyone siding with Shera? 

Well, technically, most people were against Shera. But it still irked her that the only person who actually mattered though Shera was on the right. How could everyone be fooled by a demoness who could murder in broad daylight? 

"Is something wrong?" Amanda noticed her daughter's distressed look. 

"Of course, something is wrong." Mia tried to sound as gentle as possible. "I'm just scared… what if Shera decided to murder us like she finished off the Black family?"
