Chapter 305: Another woman?

Shera mentally guessed why Alexa would look for her, but in the end, she didn't say it out and instead asked, "Why are you here? I believe this high-profile arrival is not just so you can say hello to me." 

"Of course not." Alexa crossed her arms with a smile the latter couldn't quite understand. Then she let out an evil laugh. "I am here for revenge." 

"Just kidding!" She laughed before Shera could react to it. "I just wanted to come to say hi because I miss you. The chaise longue isn't too comfortable and neither are the seats in the waiting lounge, so I took a seat behind my friend's desk." 

Shera scoffed at her reason. Sitting down, she asked Ash to bring over some drinks before she observed, "You look happy today. Did you and Carlos finally take it to the next step?"
