Chapter 16: U.A. Entrance Exam (3/3)

Everything was going smoothly for me. I earned points like no other and I had also received a good response from the other contestants due to me having saved many of them when they had found themselves in a predicament.
Along the way, I had also noticed that Midoriya was still struggling to get a single point in this exam. Unfortunately, I couldn't really help him in this regard.
While battling the Bots and saving some people, I also waited for these Arena Traps to appear.
And seemingly right on my cue, the ground violently shook. Three gigantic Bots worth zero points seemed to have been released in three different locations.
I didn't know whether there were originally three of this type in a single battle center, but I didn't really care.
It was instead good for me that there were several of them. I didn't really want to steal the one that Midoriya was going to destroy, since it was actually the only chance he got for him to get admitted into U.A. High.
But now that there were three of them, it was a good opportunity for me to showcase a little bit of my power to the judges!
With that in mind, I immediately rushed towards the location of one of the zero pointers. And what I saw when I arrived there was a frantically fleeing mass of examinees.
Since these gigantic Bots didn't get them any points, why would they even try to fight against them if they could instead concentrate on the ones who actually would help them in getting admitted into their dream school?
Well, since I knew about the truth beforehand, I naturally was going to destroy it. And even if I hadn't known beforehand, I would probably still try to fight that Bot.
While they were running away from this place, I instead ran towards the Bot, which obviously brought me a certain amount of attention from the fleeing crowd.
"What is he doing?"
"Is he going to fight that thing??"
"Are you serious? Is he crazy?"
"Wait, isn't that the guy who has saved dozens of people and has easily destroyed innumerable Bots already??"
The fleeing crowd were discussing among themselves on my seemingly reckless action to fight against the zero pointer, which I simply ignored because I was already right in front of the Bot.
'Let's see how tough you are.'
I readied my hands with Ki-shaped blades and ran towards the left leg of the gigantic Bot. I was too fast for it to even detect me, and I easily and cleanly cut through its leg, like a knife through butter.
Its severed left leg stood in place, causing the balance of the Bot to crumble which resulted in the Bot itself to tilt towards the left side. This in turn led to it slowly falling to the ground, much to the shock of the crowd.
But I didn't stop there yet, and immediately after I successfully severed its left leg, I turned towards its other leg. And like the previous one, I smoothly cut through that one with my Ki-Blade as well.
With no legs supporting its massive body, it simply fell down on the spot.
Seeing this gigantic body falling down on me, I reacted swiftly and disappeared from my position and reappeared above its head. And only now did the zero pointer finally detected me.
But unfortunately, it was already too late.
I placed both of my hands above my head with the palms facing the target and one hand in front of the other with the fingers going in opposite directions.
Large amounts of energy started to gather at my hands.
And before the crowd could even properly comprehend or react to what I was intending to do right now, not only they but also the judges inside the monitoring room were going to witness something that they wouldn't be able to forget so soon.
"MASENKO!!" I thrusted my hands forward, and right after, a huge, red energy beam shot out from my hands towards the Bot.
*BOOOOM*
An enormously loud sound and a terrifying shockwave of wind pressure was generated at the place where the gigantic Bot once stood, heavily affecting the nearby surrounding area and causing the nearby examinees to be blown away by it.
Because they were still petrified from what they had just witnessed, they weren't able to react or defend against the shockwave in time.
It wasn't only them who were left stunned speechless with their mouths wide open and their eyes nearly popped out from their sockets by this sight.
The judges inside the monitoring room were also visibly surprised and amazed of the fact that a student was capable of such things -- namely, effortlessly destroying the zero pointer.
Though, one man was not as speechless as the others in the room. This man was naturally All Might who was more or less already clear about my strength.
However, nonetheless, he still had only heard of it and had also never personally seen it, actually. So, he was at first a bit surprised by this sight, but he had quickly composed himself right after.
He was grinning happily at my achievement.
A dozen seconds later, the smokescreen slowly cleared up from the area, revealing an amazing sight to the onlookers. All you could see was a huge crater and the remaining scrap metals from the Bot scattered around the place.
It was a complete obliteration.
While the crowd was still dazed from this scene, I was already running towards the next zero pointer.
Surely, I was going to draw some more attention towards myself. Since I decided to become the future Symbol of Peace, it wasn't that bad to make the people known about me and my strength a bit earlier, gaining some reputation in the process.
"Less than two minutes left!" Present Mic's voice was suddenly heard amidst the silent crowd.
Hearing this, they instantly snapped back from their thoughts and began to search frantically for other villain Bots to earn more points.
While they were doing that, I was speedily running towards the zero pointer on the west side of the city replica.
I decided that I won't be interfering with the other one, since Midoriya should be able to take it down. Well, that was what I hoped for at least.
With my speed, I soon reached the designated location of the Bot. Some students were running away while some were still trying to get out of the operation area of the gigantic villain Bot.
Naturally, I was first rescuing the examinees who seemed to be in trouble and brought them out of its attack range before actually confronting the Bot head-on.
After everyone was evacuated, I stood face-to-face with the zero pointer Bot once again.
The people who I had saved were clearly confused about why I wasn't running away with them. They were grateful that I had helped them out, so they were scared that I might be 'sacrificing' myself or stalling time for them to escape.
They obviously didn't know that I had already decimated this type of Bot a minute ago. They were too far away from said scene to actually have seen that. The only thing that they were able to see was a blinding red light coming from the other side of the city.
Anyway, I simply ignored their cries and dashed towards the Bot. Unlike the previous one, this Bot had already detected me and locked onto my position.
But, even if it did, it didn't matter at all.
My speed was way too fast for a piece of scrap metal to be able to keep up with.
It threw its gigantic robotic right hand at me, clearly intending to smash me into meat paste. Its large hand covered a rather wide area, seemingly blocking many possible escape routes for me.
However, before it could even reach me, I had already disappeared from my spot.
The other examinees who were watching my every move only saw a vague blur before I had already disappeared from their visions.
A second later, I already reappeared right behind its back and readied my fist to deliver a fatal blow at the Bot. I clenched my right hand into a fist and threw a punch at the backside of the Bot.
The power behind my punch was immense and its execution looked like it was literally ripping the wind apart.
'Smash? Smash!'
*Puchi*
My tiny fist, in comparison to its huge size, tore right through its back, leaving only an extremely large hole behind.
The large hole quickly led to the malfunction of the Bot, and after a few seconds, it started to seemingly have a seizure before ultimately falling to the ground.
*BOOOM*
*Rumble*
The ground violently shook due to its fall and a large amount of dust flew up everywhere, obstructing the vision of the crowd.
A dozen seconds later, the wind blew the dust away and finally allowed the crowd to see the aftermath of the one-sided battle.
The gigantic Bot was lying face flat on the ground and had a huge hole at its chest area.
Standing on top of its broken head, I was simply waiting nonchalantly for the exam to end.
Though, in the eyes of the other examinees present, I was given off the feeling of invincibility and aloofness which caused the crowd to become awed by my strength.
"TIMES'S UP!" Present Mic's voice sounded out in all battle centers.
The exam was finally over.
There were some examinees who were disappointed, while some others were satisfied with their end result.
Nevertheless, one event would surely occupy the majority of the thoughts of the examinees on Battle Center B.
One student had effortlessly destroyed two zero pointers with an incredible showcase of strength..
