Chapter 46: Bring out the beast inside me
His WIFE
Zhang Han stands stone-cold statue.
Lin Mo averted her attention towards the intruder. Her smirked grows when she realized it was Tang Su.
"Mr. President request for us to dance, you wouldn't like to disobey the President and loose your husband's face right?" Lin Mo faced Tang Su fully and smirked evilly.
Tang Su looked at Zhang Han's back who slowly turned around.
His face hardened but seeing his wife, a soft smile broke in his face.
Zhang Han slowly walked in front of Tang Su and bend a little.
"May I have this dance? My beautiful wife?" he is actually sweating cold at his back. Zhang Han's afraid that his wife misunderstands him. He is fucked up if it happens.
The husband thought that asking his wife for a dance will save him.
Tang Su looked passed at him and Lin Mo and went direct to the president to approached him. She bowed before greeting him with a token of respect.
"Greetings Mr. President. I am Tang Su, Zhang Han's wife. I am sorry if I arrive late due to work. Sorry to interrupt but I would like to retired for the night. If possible please excuse me and my husband. Thank you." Tang Su then again bowed at the president before leaving with Zhang Han.
After their meeting on the next floor Tang Su was invited by Director Fang to attend a gathering, she knew Tang Su's husband was there so she dragged her over there. Director Fang did not expect the situation they were about to witness.
Well, Tang Su calmly and courageously confronted the President and left with his husband to escape from Lin Mo.
Tang Su secretly glared at Lin Mo. She couldn't stand that woman anymore. She knew Zhang Han is married but she didn't stop, so Tang Su was upset at her behavior. Lin Mo has no dignity.
Director Fang is pleased with Tang Su's portrayal. She was able to watch as Tang Su learned to fight for her husband against the surrounding women, especially to this Lin Mo.
Everyone who witnessed the incident was shocked. They didn't know who the good looking girl was and left immediately after talking to the president with CEO Zhang Han.
They were also curious of what did she tell to the President.
The President did nothing but laugh. He was amazed by Tang Su.
They do not know what Tang Su said to the President. Everyone was surprised and pitied at Lin Mo's appearance that CEO Zhang had simply left ignoring her presence.
Lin Mo clenched her fist tight. She angrily looks at the couple's retreating figure and glared daggers at Tang Su's back.
"Hey, are you okay? What happened? I am sorry it took me so long to return, it was an important call from a client." Zhao Rong chose to return at this moment.
Poor him, he didn't know what occurs the moment he leave to answer the call.
Lin Mo looked at him and relaxed, she just shook her head and invited him to dance to draw her attention and forget the shame she was feeling.
Zhang Han and Tang Su quietly returned home. None of them tried to communicate, the atmosphere is tense and rigid.
Zhang Han is afraid of his wife's reaction. He knew he had done nothing wrong but was still afraid of what his wife might say.
Tang Su was not angry at him, she is just disappointed that he did not refuse Lin Mo right away. She could not bring herself to talk to him, Tang Su was actually ashamed by her sudden portrayal of character.
Zhang Han entered the company premises the next day with unapproachable aura.
Everyone who tried to approach him scramble fast upon receiving his cold glare.
He is in his usual cold demeanor.
Zhang Han is in a bad mood again.
Lin Mo is one of the person who strain in his relationship with Tang Su. Zhang Han thinks of a way to get rid Lin Mo, the sooner the better.
Director pulled Tang Su out of his office to find out what happened last night. She wants to know what Tang Su did last night after the stunt she performed.
"Tell me, what did you do last night? Ron told me that Zhang Han is in the bad mood today."
Tang Su looked at her and sigh.
"I didn't do anything, I didn't talk to him either. I was ashamed of what I have done yesterday. It's just that Lin Mo bring out the beast inside me. It's just because of Lin Mo that I'm able to do things I've never done before. I knew she liked my husband so when I saw the situation I could not control myself."
Director Fang just shakes her head at what she said. She is very innocent, Fang wants to get to know her more and more it perks up her interest and wants her to be her friend.
"It's okay Su, I understand you. If I were in your situation I'll make sure to rip off that Lin Mo's head. She flaunt herself into a married man shamefully. You had your right to fight her."
"I wish I was that brave."
"Okay, let's get back to work." Director Fang pats her head and went back to her office.
Manager Yao noticed Tang Su at the coffee machine in her daze, he went to approach her.
"Assistant Manager Tang, are you okay? You looked kinda down."
Tang Su was startled by the sudden approached.
"I am fine sir, is there anything I can do for you?"
"Nothing, I am just here to checked on you." He smiled softly at her.
Tang Su just nod her head and return to her coffee.
"Would you like to go out? Let's have some dinner later, it can help to relax your mind. Or we can asked other to join us?" Manager Yao tried to invite her. He always had a crush on her.
"I'll think about it. Thank you though." With that Tang Su went back to her office.
He had her chances before while Tang Su was still dating Lu Chen, but now he has lost his chances and no hope.
Tang Su is married to Zhang Han.
If only he had been brave enough to confess to Tang Su how he felt, but now it is too late for him.
He would have done nothing but look forward to the stolen moments with Tang Su.
Tang Su's parents called her and asked her to come home this weekend. They don't even see her anymore, they grow old that they want to see their child get married.
They had no news of her, she had not been calling them so they were worried about their daughter.
"Okay, I'll promise to be there during this weekend. I am sorry I was too busy to call you this days." Tang Su promised her parents to visit them this weekend. She thought that she really misses them.
"Okay Su, be careful always. Bye."
"Bye mom, bye dad." She bade them goodbye, she was not ready to tell them about Zhang Han and her marriage. She will find the right time to tell them.
