Chapter 80: Chapter 80: Arrival
What the Age line pass Edwin didn't have much to do until the start of the Triwizard tournament but that didn't mean he wasted his time, Edwin spent time training with Snape every afternoon after classes and even during the weekend when Snape felt like it and afterward Edwin would use his time turner to get more time for Rune and Alchemy practice.
The four houses kept getting more member which made it hardly a secret anymore as the rumor of the club varied but one thing remained the same you need would to know someone inside and the house rep would need to allow you to enter.
Luna, Isabella, and the twins were put in charge of the Halloween party they each had their own ideas about what the party should be like but in the end, they came to an agreement on what to do during Halloween.
Outside of Hogwarts a blue and white carriage being pulled by giant light brown winged-horses appear in the sky the carriage laded near Hogwarts castle the carriage is almost as large as the horses and it has an engraving with Beauxbaton's symbol on the outer shell.
The Beauxbaton school had arrived and they were being led by Madam Maxime, Beauxbaton's Headmistress, at Hogwarts lake a black ship showing the flag of the Durumstrag institute submerge out of the water; under the leadership of their Headmaster Igor Karkaroff they enter Hogwarts Castle where a feast awaited them.
In preparations to greet the other School, a feast was prepared for them, Beauxbaton was the first to enter the grand hall A boy from Beauxbaton open the door allowing Madame Maxime to enter the rest of the students followed behind dancing and using magic as they walked up the tables, Dumbledore got up and Greeted Madam Maxime with a hug but it looked weird as Maxime being a half-giant is talker than Dumbledore.
As the Beauxbaton student's danced the boys had their eyes on the girls especially Fleur Delacour and Edwin wasn't an exception after they finished the Durmstrag institute ended they didn't dance like Beauxbaton soft and gentle with a beautiful movement they looked rather aggressive.
Dumstrag students hit and spin the staff as the moved up the tables creating sparks; at the end of the dance, the two boys leading the dance used their wands to create flames showing their school symbol, as before Dumbledore got up and greeted Igor who was walking behind his students.
The high table had quite a few extra seats near Dumbledore where the Headmaster and mistress took their seat, the Beauxbaton students joined the Ravenclaw table while Dumstrag joined the Slytherin table.
"Everyone I would like to introduce to you Headmaster of Dumstrag Igor Karkaroff and Headmistress of Beauxbaton Madame Olympe Maxime, "Dumbledore said introducing the two and soon cheers followed.
"I would also like to intro due two more of our judges Bartemius Crouch senior and Ludo Bagman, "Dumbledore said and cheers once again followed; the twins had a shine in their eyes with the appearance of Ludo Bagman.
"For those of you who want to enter the Triwizard tournament must first enter their name on a clear piece of paper with your name and the school you're from into the goblet of fire, "Dumbledore said taking off the cover of the golden goblet "each student has until the Halloween feast to enter their name"
After Dumbledore finished speaking the feast started where the Dumstrag introduced themselves to the Slytherin table and Viktor Krum was kept busy with questions of Quidditch, The Ravenclaw was almost the same with the boys trying to get Fleur attention.
When the feast was near over Theodore told Edwin" We should Welcome them "Edwin knew what Theodore meant and replied with a nod and signaled Luna to give her permission to let the Beauxbaton student into the four houses.
Since its the day before Halloween the Chamber is decorated to be eerie from the weirdly named food and drinks to the gothic style furniture in the common room that Isabella and Daphne changed.
"Everyone I would Like to Welcome our visitors with open arms and I hope they enjoy themselves," Edwin said using the Walkman that is now fixed to be used as a P.A system.
"She is Beautiful," Draco said looking at Fleur.
"You can say that again "Fred add as he looked at Fleur.
"What do you boys see in her anyway" Isabella hissed at the boys who kept talking about Fleur.
"Her beautiful silver blond hair, light blue eyes and nice figure "Edwin replied honestly which caused Isabella to frown and Edwin saw it he felt like he said something wrong and continued "But she got nothing on you girls"
"Lie, "Isabella said as she looked at Daphne and Luna who didn't care enough to be bothered as they were in their own world.
"Oh come on don't sell yourself short," Edwin said as he looked at her" I mean you're really beautiful and I'm more of a dark hair, redhead or Brown hair and the other aspect you suit, "Edwin said looking at Isabell who is far different from the first time he saw her as she no longer had a slightly chubby face and with her light brown eyes she's beautiful.
"Thanks, "Isabella said as she avoided looking at Edwin by facing the direction of Daphne who simply smiled at her.
"Red-head huh "Fred replied with a smirk and Edwin knew he would regret saying that in the future.
The Welcome party went on late in the night until the Beauxbaton student-led by Fleur left because it had gotten late and soon everyone followed, During the Party Draco became Friends with Viktor who seem to have taken an interest in Hermione and due to Draco not being on bad terms with her they were introduced.
