Chapter 183: Elven Queen Awakens
At the time when Leon argued with his beasts in the world tree, Ariel and the chimera fought the Monarch of Nature, both were seemingly oblivious to the World around them and the changes that occurred.
Pace flew on the StarFire Peng. He had just left the arena to return to the Council of Fire. He separated with the rest of the Flamesmith clan members that came with him. Only Anastasia also a member of the Council of Fire was with him. They both rushed back seeing the urgency in the message.
"Anastasia, What do you think could have happened? The Council even had to withdraw from the three continental competition!"
"It really is bad, I've gone through records of events in the Council of Fire's library and something like this hasn't happened before. The situation was already bad after the earthquake, now something else happened." The two then continued to fly towards the Border. There were also members of the Council of Fire in sight. Anastasia could even see remembers of the national team flying.
Abigail looked around, "Where did Leon go?". The team had rejoined together outside.
"I saw him at that competition. Maybe he went ahead? His Griffin is fast." Flint said unsure.
Oren was also worried, Leon's communication token was blocked by something. They all had seen Leon at sitting the in the audience but now his communication token wasn't working. "Did it get destroyed?" Oren thought. In such an urgent situation he couldn't look for Leon.
Oren then looked at the rest of the team, "I'll go ahead, You all catch up as fast you can." He then flashed away.
The whole team suddenly felt something was off. Odin was the first to turn around. They heard a loud crack. It came from the world tree. A crack formed on one of its branches, the crack grew and the brach started to fall.
The branch was of the bigger branches of the Tree. It falling was like the moon falling down. It's size was sky consuming. The world tree had created it's own light to stop the formation of shadows but now those disappeared. The branch blocked the sun.
With the branch falling the world tree also shriveled. It's bark grew a little grew and dozens of its ten kilometers long leaves started to rain on to the Nature continent.
The whole continent was surprised by the events. Every one ran for safety. The trees around them also shriveled. A few died and disintegrated. Others lost all their leaves. The Nature Continent was losing its lush and beauty.
Pace looked around and saw all the grass under him die and disappear. A clear stream nearby grew murky because of all the plants in it dying.
"What is happening all of a sudden?!" Pace shouted as he grabbed Anstasia off her Black Tear Bat and had the StarFire Peng use an ability to boost its speed.
The people in the Nature Continent saw flowers wilt and leaves fall. Every other tree turned into a Withered bark.
THUDD!
The branch hit the ground. A wave of dust was launched by the hit through the continent. The earth itself shook. Even though it had fallen near the world tree its effects could be felt everywhere.
The Nature Soldiers helping the Fire Continent people leave were shocked still by the reality of the situation.
"Is the World Ending?"
As he thought this the world changed again. The plants stagnated in their process of dying. A wilted flower had its stock go green and bloomed again. Soon trees grew back and the rivers cleared.
As if time was reversing the lush started to return. A wave of green spread out through the plants reviving them. The giant branch in the ground also flew back up and joined the World tree again.
"Seriously, What is happening?" Pace said softly as he looked at the baffling scene.
The others nearby him were also watching the scene. In pure shock and awe.
Far away the Monarch of Nature was fighting the chimera and Ariel. He noticed that something was wrong. The Dream world hadn't changed but it felt his continent dying. "I need end this farce." He planned on summing his next beast and end the battle. But he noticed he couldn't move anymore. The Chimera had summoned the throne.
The Chimera and Ariel had also noticed the change but didn't react to much. The Chimera had hidden the change in its dream world to stop the Monarch of Nature realising the branch had been stolen. By the time it released the dream world everything had recovered.

High up, near the top of the world tree. The sky was close to its end and the blackness of Nothing Zone was close.
There was a small round wooden door in the Tree trunk here. Behind the door was a small wooden room.
The room only had one thing in it. A white soft silky bed. The silk so white that it released a glow. It was clearly made of one of the finest heavenly materials.
On the bed slept a lady, she looked to be in her mid twenties. She had long silver hair and wore a white dress as she slept. The lady had pointed ears and the most beautiful features a being could have.
On the lady's cheek was a small white bee. The bee had emerald green eyes and a fluffy white coat. It's wings as if thin pieces of diamond, they had thins lines of white move through them drawing an intricate pattern.
The bee woke up and flew around then landed on the lady's cheek. It's inch tall body used its stinger to pierce the women's cheek. The sting however didn't release blood, no it sent life energy into the sleeping lady.
The bee flew off as the lady woke up. She stretched one hand out and used the other to block her mouth as she yawned. Each motion of hers was elegant. She opened her eyes and showed her glorious silver irises to the World.
"How many centuries it been since I was last awake?" The lady asked as she put her hand out.
The bee landed on her finger and communicated with the lady.
"The Tree if life has been damaged?" The lady nodded. She then stepped on the wooden floor of the room. It opened and she started falling down the world tree.
The fall was quick as the lady appeared from a hole leading to the Tree of life. She landed on the ground of the opening.
"Some One was here, they just left." She said. She looked at the corpse of person and beasts next to the Tree and shook her head. She then waved her hand and the corpses broke into green lights and disappeared.
She then waved to the Tree of life and gave it a hug. "So your branch was cut off." The lady said. She spoke with the Tree a bit more then walked back and saw the place of injury.
"It has healed, but looks like a little friend came to the rescue." The Lady said as she gazed at the butterfly's body used as tape to stick the branch to the Tree.
She looked sat it a bit more and then saw something surprising, "This little friend is also rather determined to live. It still has a tiny piece of its consciousness left. Eve heal the tree completely and save this benefactor as well."
The small bee nodded. It landed on that butterfly and gave it a sting.
