Chapter 4: chapter 3

What just happened
I didn't notice there where stairs and in my haste of thanking the girl that brought me to the class and entering into the class, I missed the stairs and fell.
Everywhere was silence and I'm sure all of my soon to be classmate where looking at me and talking about how stupid I was in their brain. Talk about making an entrance.
With my I don't care attitude I stood up straight and brushed my hair away from my face, pick my bag from the floor and started making my way to the empty chair at the back of the class, with all eyes still on me. I heard some murmurings about how clumsy I was, or if I was blind, but I didn't care. With all eyes still on me, I sat down on my seat.
Three minute later while everyone was seated the bell rang and the front door opened, revealing a dark haired man, who looked to be in his late 40's and a bit chubby with glasses on his face walked in.
"well you all are welcomed to your senior and final year at graham high school" he exclaimed with fake excitement
The whole class began cheering and hollering. "That's enough that's enough"the man paused and continued "well, this year we're going to be having two new student in this class and as I can see, one showed up today and her name is Alexandria" he finished
Some people just turn to stair at me and I tried putting up my best fake smile, they face front again when the man started saying "this senior year will be a lot of fun for you all, but it also comes with a lot of work... " I tuned him out of my head and the feeling that I was really in a real school dawned on me. The thought about whether I will like going to school here was going through my mind.
"Alexandria" immediately I heard my name, my ears peaked up, "Alexandria" the man called out again his voice sounding a little but snappy, apparently he'd been calling me for a while but i had been too occupied in my thought to hear him.
"Yes sir" I said "I said, would you like to introduce yourself to the class" he asked, "sure" I replied.
Then all eyes were back on me as I made my way to the front of the class. "Well as you all know, my name is Alexandria Thomas, I'm 18 year old, I was home schooled up until now. my favorite color is black and I love baking". I finished and started walking back to my seat.
I heard some girls snickering and saying lame, while some guys were evening yawning but I didn't care, I just went straight to my seat. After all I was here to get good grades and not break the rules, so I reached my seat and looked straight at the man who said, "well that was brief, I'm Mr McCarthy by the way and I'll be your math teacher for this year.I hope you have a wonderful senior year"he said looking at me, I smile a bit and nodded. "Now back to math he said". ************************
