Chapter 4: The truth that would be told
Shortly after the news were deliberated a huge scream was heard What? said the others and Sam was also between them.
He couldn't believe it. He met Yue Drake when he was 5-6 months old when he saw al old friend running from something. That man wasn't only handsome he looked similar to Yue Drake, that was his father and you can say he was almost his father mirror split image because Yue Drake would become more handsome and his father had blue hair. The reason was because his father used a technique to change his son hair color from blue to black since if he wouldn't that could trigger anyone's guess that Yue Drake was the son of the blue-haired man.
When Sam remembered what the child's father did he then figured it out that the blood he saw on the baby's abdomen wasn't blood but an illusion, and a good one given out that his father was an expert of the 8th Realm.
Yun Sam during that time had just broken through to the 5th Realm and when he and Yue Tian met was originally for a reunion between brothers. Sam, Tian and Ye Xuan made an appointment that when they finished they're respective businesses they would met to drink.
Yue Tian has of course met his son's mom during that time and also met with problems but, what only his friends knew - and no one that in the eyes couls proove they're worthy to be trusted - was that the Yue clan was once a force to be recknoed with, but it's not like the clan fell from it's might but because they decided to go low-key so that they can better accomplish they're objectives and turned into the Ocean Dragon Treasure's creator, an auction hall with more than 3000 years of history and a lot of experts at they're side. This didn't mean that the Yue family - who once commanded the Sea Beast Kings Sect - decided to set up it's disparition from the highlights during the same period when they created the auction hall, but it dissappeared tens of thousands of years ago - 40000 to be more precise.
Sam's cultivation albeit not bad was so pitiful because he spent too much time to unblock his meridians and to get used to it, with his situation and open his pores because in his adolescence he wanted to enter the best place to turn himself into a powerhouse to protect the city he grew and loved. But because he tried to absorb more energy when he just barely got used to the changes he was wounded and had to recuperate he stagnated at the 7th level of the True Elemental Essence which was the fourth realm. This happened when he was 16 and went to a capital city to go to the Spirit King Academy. The reason he entered even in his situation was because he could combine many of his techniques and had mastered his Yellow, Human, Spirit, techniques and had a good grasp on High, and Xuan techniques and also cultivated a Soul-tier body-tempering technique.
A few years after that he met his brothers and since they specialised in different techniques they managed to do an incredible job and the three broes graduated literally 2 years after they enrolled, at the age of 18.
Sam finally recuperated but his speed slowed and used pills and elixirs to reach the 5th tier, stabilise his cultivation and recuperate his previous speed, but he was also busy with becoming a fighting fisherman or a fighter that fights against any sea-type beast he neglected his cultivation and two years later when they met and wanted to congratulste Tian he found that in place of a nice discussion they fought assassins from an unknown clan.
Xuan's fate was unknown but big brother Tian died and he decided to take his son in but keep the boy's name.
And since then he put everything he had, every second and pill and Spirit Jade to advance and consolidate his base and understanding and in 9 years he managed to ascend from the 3rd rank of the 5th realm to the top of the 7th realm. The he now knew that before he reaches the age of 32 he would already be at second rank of the 8th realm, and as long as he reaches the 9th stage and acquire what he needed he could recruit some experts and he could find out who send those assassins and to exact revenge.
And because he raised the boy he felt proud when he found out those news but he also felt that this feeling was a lack of respect for Tian since he swore that he would raise and protect Drake and then take him to his true clan.
Meanwhile on the beach Yue Drake was unaware of what truly happened in the past but he knew a little bit and could imagine some reasons why Yun Sam took him in.
Drake, of course knew he wasn't Yun Sam's son and that something happened to his true dad and mom but he didn't knew the truth so he just cultivated.
Normally to continuously reforge the armor was a waste of time unless be reformed while he wore it and this had the role to toughen up his meridians in future and so those were only the preparations he made for the future. In truth he unblocked his water meridian followed by the meridians of the arms, legs and mind followed by the wind meridian for better movements and the fire one so that he could use specially techniques that required this meridian opened and this was also true for the wind meridian, the water meridian he only felt this should be the first one because in the late game it would be quite good and although after opening the limbs and head meridians he felt weird at first but he did it was worth it so that he could use better the attack techbiques of the aquatic beasts.
From his observations he found that some beasts after they opened some meridians they could use a natural ability at a more deadly level and after opening the meridians of other elements they could enhance those abilities with those elements even though they didn't had those affinities.
Once he observed in its natural habitat a beast that first opened the water meridian and then what should be the limbs and mind meridians and after a little tempering it could fight beasts at the top of the 5th tier and beasts that just rrached the 6th stage and at least experts at the 4th stage a stage higher by 1 realm when those beasts were just kids, but they had the length of a predator fish at most.
This method was also used by those Ice Sea Devils but they first opened the water meridian and then cultivated for a bit and then started the tempering process by fighting and then opening meridians that corresponded to the limbs and head and then went to fight again to put the opened meridians to the limit followed by tempering and cultivation and the next meridians they first had to decide but by then they would've switched to using the body-tempering method for both advancing and strenghtening. Yue Drake saw younglings of that tribe follow what the 7th tier Sea Devil told them and showed the benefits and since Yue Drake could see the entire process he decided to do the same thing, so the fire and wind meridians were opened to further enhance the tempering process after he comprehended the reason why the Sea Devils had to first act like the next meridian to be opened was on a whim was only because they wanted a method to truly reflect they're individuals personalities so when the 10 yearish Drake figured that out by trying this method he couldn't help but admire those beasts and everyother creature that had similar values.
