Chapter 12: I shall bow down to my Queen
As soon as they arrived to the Zhi Villa, the first thing that greeted them was the big white tiger pouncing on Yang Jia. It seemed that Duke was really scared that Yang Jia would disappear again
"See Duke I'm back, don't worry I'm not leaving you alone anymore" Yang Jia comforted Duke
Duke quickly turned into a big happy cat. Duke the hem of Yang Jia's shirt and started to pull her to the garden. He looked as he was trying to say 'come, come and play with me'
Yang Jia giggled "Okay, okay let's go play in the backyard" she looked at Liang Guozhi "Do you want to play with us?"
Liang Guozhi was startled and hesitated.
Back then when Yang Jia and Duke played together, he was always watching them at the side. Now he didn't know what to say.
"Come on, play with us" She grabbed his hand and took him outside. Liang Guozhi had no choice but give in to her request
The three of them we're running around chasing Duke. Laughter sorrounded the entire atmosphere
"Duke? Where are you!?" Jia screamed. They were playing hide and seek just like they used to play back then.
The forest was big and made it hard for Jia to look for Duke back then, but now the backyard was smaller. Though it was still big enough for Duke to find a few good hiding places
The Zhi Villa was build beside a lake, which was surrounded by trees.
Liang Guozhi was following behind Yang Jia, who was searching for Duke
"There are cameras around the Villa. Why don't we check them out and see where Duke hid" he suggested
"That is called cheating"
"No, is called finding him faster" he retorted
Yang Jia rolled her eyes and said "I know my best friend the best, I'm sure I can find him"
Liang Guozhi stayed quiet. He was jealous that Duke had all of Yang Jia's affection
"Ahh Duke I see your tail come out" she screamed. He was hiding under few pile of leaves.
It was the middle of Autumn, so there was bound to be a lot of leaves on the ground.
He somehow managed to bury himself under the leaves without people noticing his white fur, but he forgot something important... his white fur tail
Duke slowly stood up and pounce on Jia. Most of the leaves from his body fell to the ground, some got stuck to his fur
Yang Jia fell to the ground with Duke on top of her. She giggled, she glanced at Liang Guozhi and said "See, I easily found Duke and I didn't have use your cheating method"
"Then I shall bow down to my Queen, for she is right" Liang Guozhi said teasingly and bowed down
"Yeah, you're right" Jia said with satisfaction and there was with a tinge of blush on her face.
'He called me *my queen*'
The Housekeeper came outside to inform the Young Master that dinner was ready, but what she witnessed made her freeze on the spot
Her Young Master bowed to the Young Miss.
Liang Guozhi will never bow down to someone, only to his parents on rare occasions.
But this time he did it to this woman teasingly. You could see the love and adoration sparkling in his eyes. For this woman he'll do anything.
The Housekeeper came back from her stupor and walked towards them.
"Young Master, Young Miss dinner is ready"
Liang Guozhi gazed at her and then nodded and then turned his gaze at Yang Jia
He held her hand and helped her stand up
A shock of electricity went through his body when he touched her soft hand, but what he didn't know was that Jia felt the same thing
Yang Jia retracted her hand from his and hurriedly went toward the Housekeeper. The blush that vanished a few seconds ago reappeared again
"Ant Mei, I told you to just call me by my name" she whispered, she didn't want Liang Guozhi to listen to what she's saying
Ant Mei smiled, but didn't say anything
Though Yang Jia said not to call her Young Miss. She always did because she knew that in the future the Young Master will be married to her.
Thats what her instincts told her
When they enter the dining room, the smell of delicious food teased their nostrils.
Definitely, Aunt Mei's food is the best
Yang Jia and Liang Guozhi ate the delicious food while Duke ate a large piece of steak that Aunt Mei prepared for him
When Yang Jia and Duke first entered the Villa, Aunt Mei was scared out of her whits when she saw the big white ferocious tiger.
She almost passed out when the Young Master instruct her to take care of Duke, but as the time went by, Duke got used to Ant Mei and vise versa.
Instead of him being fierce and having a murderous aura, he was childish and extremely adorable
That's because he'll show this side to Yang Jia, but if he was in front of a person like Zhang Wei and Hu Lie
He wouldn't wait a second to consume and ripped them apart
After dinner, Yang Jia went to her room to sleep, but someone or a big animal was following her
She turned around and saw that Duke immediately stop and lowered his head acting like the floor tiles was the most interesting thing in the world
Yang Jia chucked and decided to tease him.
She walked toward her room and turned around again, but was shocked
Duke was at the same spot still looking at the tiles. It seems that the tiles really were the more interesting thing in the world. Duke was so intrigued that he forgot what his orginal goal was. To stay the night at Yang Jia's room
Liang Guozhi, who witnessed everything was amused.
'This big cat is interested in the floor tiles'
Yang Jia started laughing while Aunt Mei started giggling
See... this is what she meant by Duke being childish and adorable
Duke looked up with a confused face as if saying 'What are you guys laughing about?'
He glanced at Yang Jia, who was farther away then she was when he stopped to look at the tiles.
The distance made him realize that he forgot his original goal
Duke ran up to Yang Jia and looked up to her with his pouty eyes as if saying 'Can I sleep with you?'
How could Yang Jia ever reject this big charming white cat. "Okay, you can sleep with me"
Duke's eyes sparkled and his tail wagged
Yang Jia let Duke enter and closed the door
Liang Guozhi looked like a puppy that was abounded by his owner and at the same time he was speechless
She would say yes without hesitation to the cat, but what about him?
He recalled how Duke made a pouty face to make Yang Jia give in and that gave him an idea.
Next time he would pout and act cute to make her give in
Liang Guozhi went to his room, practicing on his expressions for next time
Next time she wouldn't hesitate to say yes to him
