Chapter 1: Where do I go now? (1)
Rays of sunshine are peeking through her bedroom window. Although its past her usual waking time she didn't for a second think of getting out of bed.
Closed eyes, tucked sheets and curled toes, she soundlessly dreamt her way throughout the day. Still exhausted for having a 13 hour trip across the country, she finally woke around past lunchtime where her stomach growled for immediate attention.
Standing up in a dazed state, she walked her way to the bathroom and started doing her routine. Never once in her life had she been this exhausted before. Worse, it was only just talk! Surely the man she talked with that day can drain the life out of her.
Honestly, she was not scared of him. She never was. However, the finality in his words gave no room for debate. Thas was why she got so frustrated, because she knows she'll either do it, or face the consequence.
But this is enough torture! She thought, remembering back their conversation.
"I want nothing to do with all of these!"
She slammed the folder in her hand at his glass table.
For some reason, the man in front of her got a glint of amusement in his eyes, seeing the outraged pumpkin. Surely he saw this coming. He waited, maybe wanting more of her lashing out.
"This is so freakin' unfair! You definitely tricked me into signing this! How could you! You knew I didnt want to.. arg!! I don't want to be your stupid puppet!"
The man sat straight and looked into her eyes. She never was his puppet, he only did things all for the sake of her. But this time, she really don't have a choice, and so was he.
"Pumpkin, been tricked or not, you already signed it."
She was becoming red with fury, she was so mad she could kill him on the spot.
"How could you!"
He could taste the venom in her accusing voice. This time, he straightened his back and faced her with immense superiority.
"I'm offering a proposition. Either take this,"
Handing her the folder,
"or enter the entertainment industry for five months. If you're gone by tomorrow, then I expect you chose the latter."
After saying that with such finality, the man stood up and left the room, leaving her disoriented.
