Chapter 3: King Entertainment
King Entertainment huh! What a wuss
Does every guy in here feel like royalty?
It's almost 4 PM, and now she's standing in front of the large glass doors of her last bet.
Its been three days since she's been applying as a crew assistant in different agencies. And in all of it she was brutally denied!
If she's kicked out again this time, she'll definitely start a war!
Thinking back, she's done her best to appear decent! She event went over wearing skirts which she hate all her life.
Now, in her pair of almost torn jeans, baggy shirt and dirty sneakers. She almost looked like a beggar! She hated this. But what choice does she have? She couldn't go back now.
'Now or never' she thought.
Before even taking a single step, she was pushed hard to the ground that she saw stars twirling around her.
What an unfortunate young lady she is.
"Miss are you okay?"
Almost not being able to stand up, losing balance, she accidentally pulled the parrot-looking-like creature into the ground with her. This time, she was definitely knocked out.
...
Waking up in an abandoned building, she panicked.
Her mind was now spiraling with imaginations.
In there she saw sacks toppled together and its dripping with.. with.. blood?!
Boxes full of spiderwebs appeared at her side where she laid, and.. and.. an actual spider is now crawling towards her!
She was never a fan of horror movies and now, she felt like she's experiencing it live! She couldn't believe this at all! All her strength was drained from her, and she was engulfed by darkness once more.
Seriously? What are the chances of luck can this girl possibly have?
Meanwhile..
'CUT! GOOD TAKE!'
Everyone in the room was filled with claps and cheers as they thanked each other for their hard work.
It's their last day of taping for a film and trully all of them was greatful for the productive flow of their shoot.
Everyone was happy, but the man with a bruised face in the far corner of the room couldn't be more happier.
All throughout the shoot he was rather spaced out. He couldn't stop thinking about the girl he brought with her and had left her behind in their storage building where they had taken a part of their horror film last night.
The girl was vaguely familiar. Seems like he had seen her before. But where?
"Mr. Yuki" so much for attempting to escape, the head director of the production team called out to him.
"Thank you for your generosity in sponsoring this film. We couldn't possibly have wrapped this up without you."
More like you begged me out for it, he wanted to say.
"Oh, Mr. Yuki, what happened to your face?"
He wanted to snap. But stood silent.
He had this reputation about being icily cold towards people. He was known to be a cold hearted CEO of King Entertainment. Surely, he would live up to the name of his company.
Such a shameless son of a bachelor.
If only they knew he was a narcissistic goat. He could only inwardly laugh at the thought.
But he had no time to have petty talks right now.
The girl.
The director continued talking to him as if he was intently listening.
"We will have a gathering tomorrow evening, surely we would love for you to be..."
The poor director had his mouth hung open for the man he was talking to just turned around and left.
Without all the care in the world let alone for the director, which he shamelessly referred to as 'The talking slime' he directly went out looking for the girl, maybe she had left already.
But by the time he arriced at the back of the building he was shocked to see the girl still unmoving.
It was 5 hours since he left her here, why hadn't she woken up yet?
As he was about to carry her to take her to the hospital. A sudden scream filled his ears.
"AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH"
The thought of hearing a ghost scream took him out of his wits as he suddenly cried out like a girl and hugged the tiny woman whom he was about to carry.
The girl was shocked as she subconciously attacked the man that had shamelessly jumped to hug her like a freak.
"Ow Ow ow! Stop! I won't do anything!"
The girl fumed! "Won't do anything your a**!"
Mr. Yuki was now dumbfounded as he realized the girl was awake.
"You're awake" The dumbest thing he ever said today.
"Obviously Mr.." as the girl didn't know his name she didn't continue.
"Call me Nathan"
"Well Nathan, where on earth are we? Now I didn't get to have an interview for a job all because of you!"
The fear of her surrounding now vanished as it was replaced with annoyance and irritation. She already starving and she don't have the slightest idea where the freak she is, and the possibility of being hired today was lost!
A sudden recognition filled Nathans eyes. He was right, he knew the girl. But still, he asked.
"What's your name?"
"Haven't you heard me?" This guy is really asking for beating!
"Just answer me"
"Sky"
"Well, Sky. Welcome to King Entertainment"
Perhaps, she has the slightest of luck afterall.
