Chapter 3: Finding Out

It's been a couple of months since we moved here and everything was going well. Not today though because my secret that I'm transgender was just leaked to the whole school. I shouldn't be surprised but I am. I knew this was coming so why does it hurt so much. Why can't I stop crying? Everyone looks at me like I shouldn't be here. Some of those who are kind are scared of being bullied by being my friends. I get it but it's so lonely without anyone. For the first time in my life I prayed for God to send me a friend. I didn't believe in God but who knows maybe he was listening, because a few weeks later she showed up. I was at my lowest point in life when I met her. Even though I had her then, I knew one day I'd lose her. For now though the thought of her kept me going.
