Chapter 122: Alliances are formed
General POV
"Do you think this is a good idea?" asked Jiraiya as he sat in a chair across from Tsunade. The Toad Sage was met with disbelief when he was seen after Pain's attack.
Everyone who knew that Jiraiya died was shocked to see him being back from the dead. The shock passed, and what followed next was major applause.
The Shinobi part was glad to see that another Sannin loyal to Konoha was alive.
From all of those, Naruto was the happiest of them all. Finally, after the whole fight, he could hug his sensei. The latter obviously returned the hug.
Jiraiya, too, was happy to see Naruto, but his eyes weren't on Naruto. Instead, they were on those enormous tits Tsunade had dangling from her chest.
Naturally, the Godaime Hokage had a sixth since when it came to those that had perverted thoughts about her and one glance at the small blood drop dangling from Jiraiya's, she found the culprit.
If not for the fact that Jiraiya literally came back from the dead not a day ago, she wouldn't just clench her fist but also give him it as a gift right into his face.
"Jiraiya, despite me being happy for you to be alive, I will not let you stare at my breasts."
"But how can I not, hime? My near-death experience opened up a new world to me. I will ascend to a new form and write better Icha Icha. I already have a new idea: Icha Icha Princess and Slugs," said Jiraiya with a perverted grin.
This time she didn't care if he was back from the dead or not, so she really hit him and Jiraiya crashed through the door. Sighting, Tsunade cooled down and placed a scroll on the desk.
"The Raikage summoned the other Kage to a meeting in the land of iron. I am allowed to bring two bodyguards with me."
"And you took me? I am flattered."
"I want Naruto to come too," responded Tsunade and Jiraiya frowned.
"I disagree. Naruto is Konohagakure's Jinchūriki. If you take him with you, then the Akatsuki would have it easier to get him."
"Oh, and letting him stay in Konoha would keep Akatsuki away? Well, look out of the window and tell me again? The Akatsuki don't care where Naruto is and I doubt they would attack the meeting where 5 Kages are."
Jiraiya opened his mouth to protest, only to close it shortly after. Tsunade was right. Nagato could attack Konoha so others could as well.
Jiraiya was told by Naruto about the masked man whom he encountered and the Sannin was shocked to hear that it was this man who took the Kyuubi out of Kushina and indirectly killed the married couple, leaving Naruto an orphan.
"What about Ishizu?" asked Jiraiya who, although grateful for the life saved, but disappointed with his betrayal.
"We can take care of him later. He isn't the problem right now. Tell Naruto we will leave tomorrow with the Mizukage and her guards to the land of iron."
Unknown location
"Pain lost?" asked Tobi, seeing the appearing venus flying trap emerging from the tree.
"Not only that, but somehow Naruto Uzumaki managed to convince him to use the Gedo Rinne Rebirth Jutsu to revive the deceased Konoha Shinobi."
"Hmm, this doesn't look good. Seems like I have to take this matter into my own hands. Where did Konan go with Nagato's body?"
"She took them back to Amegakure, but there is also something else you should know."
"What is it?"
"Jiraiya of the Sannin is alive. Pain didn't kill him."
Obito inwardly cursed. His plan to capture the bijuus came to a halt at the Gobi. He found some relief when Konoha was destroyed, but not a single Jinchūriki could be captured and now the Kages would team up to fight him.
Obito was smart to understand in which position he was in and it wasn't a good one. It made him sick to think about it, but he needed help.
"Nothing will stop us from. Zetsu, go and find me Kabuto. As an apprentice of Orochimaru, I believe he can utilize the Edo Tensei. With the hundred thousand Zetsu clones plus Kabuto's Edo Tensei, we will no doubt win this war."
The white and black parts split from each other and the black part left to find the snake Sage.
"What will you do, Madara?" asked the white zetsu.
"I will take part in the Kage summit and declare war if they don't give me the Jinchūriki," answered Tobi before kamuiing away.
In another location, a hooded man was sitting cross-legged on the ground. His full appearance was hidden well by his hoody with large round glasses. In front of him laid an unconscious naked Danzo with his wood arm intact.
"You don't know how much I hated you for everything. You put me into Root and then made me fight the person I considered my mother. Killing you and ending your suffering would bring you more benefit than harm."
Kabuto turned to Danzo's arm and grinned. Just behind the shoulder was a single Sharingan eye. Kabuto didn't turn around when he felt another presence coming closer. Kabuto didn't fear anyone with the power he had. He was the closest to being the Sage of the Six Paths.
"What do you want, zetsu?"
"Madara is going to declare war on the shinobi alliance that is forming in the land of iron. He offers you to be part of the team."
Kabuto chuckled as he stopped touching Danzo.
"And what would I get out of helping this 'Madara'?"
"What do you want?"
"Revenge. Sasuke killed orochimaru-sama so I want his corpse with the Sharingan," spoke Kabuto before his unseen face turned grim, "And I want Yamamoto's living body. I want him alive to torture him myself."
"If you help us with the war, you will get both."
"So what do you want me to do?" asked Kabuto.
"We need your Edo Tensei to reanimate corpses of famous deceased shinobi who can fight," explained Zetsu.
"I don't have enough corpses to fight an allied shinobi force," countered Kabuto, but Zetsu shook his head.
"We have enough force, don't worry."
After a short explanation about the Zetsu clones, Kabuto got up, and both expected their hands and shook them other ones.
"Then we are partners."
Dumpling Dynasty
Po sat in his chair while enjoying the wind passing through his fur. Everyone was enjoying the scenery of peace. Suddenly, a jade green envelope appeared before his eyes.
"Post? From them?"
The panda opened the envelope and his eyes roamed over the writing.
"Oh no. This doesn't look good. Not at all. I didn't expect him to appear now and cause trouble."
The envelope dissolved into green mist before Po stood up and walked to a small house.
An old, dusty picture stood in the middle of the table. Po had a small smile as he picked it up and looked at the faces inside.
"I wonder…"

Broxhitman1998 With Obito acquiring 5 of the 9 Bijuus, without all the Jinchūriki's bodies, there is no need for Kabuto to blackmail him with Madara’s corpse.
Instead, I see it more believable for Obito to ask Kabuto for help. Kabuto doesn't know nor does he care what the end result will be but he will fight Sasuke. With the latter being on the side of the Alliance, Kabuto takes Obito's side.
