Chapter 60: Joshua's Dilemma.
It's been a week since Isla started living with her father and brothers. She is very happy with this new change in her life. Irtaza is trying his best to be a good father for his children.
Ivan, Harry and Peter are trying their level best to make their sister's life more colourful. In short, their life is becoming more cheerful every passing day. And that all is just because of the presence of Isla.
On the other hand.
In Dain's Palace.
"When are the kids coming back?" asked Luis.
"I don't know," replied Noah.
Luis and Noah were playing chess in the lounge. Last one week they were alone in the house with their wives as all the youngsters went out for their vacations. Luis, Noah, Aleesa, Eleonora, Crystal, Orhan and Aman spent the last few days without these youngsters. They were now bored.
"Let's call Nada," said Noah.
"Hmm, yes we'll call her. And then everyone will be here in no time, HAHAHA," said Luis.
"What are you both planning now?" asked Aleesa coming out of the kitchen.
"We're planning to call Nada and all of them back home," said Noah.
"That is amazing, brother," said Aleesa.
"Yeah, I'm missing them so much."
"Yeah, I'm missing them so much."
Both Eleonora nad Crystal said in unison.
"I understand why Anas and Nada are not here as they have work and their studies, but why the other youngsters are not coming home. It's almost a week since I last saw them," said Orhan.
Orhan was sitting on the sofa reading the newspaper. He met Nada and Anas two days ago. He was quite worried about the other children. He tried to contact them but they were not responding.
He then asked Anas and he told him that the young princes and princesses were busy in their secret rendezvous. Orhan was not shocked to hear this. He already had a hunch what those issues were doing hiding from them.
They were busy planning for the return of the princes and princesses when Mr Aurbery came and announced the arrival of Gaumonds.
"Your Highness, King Liam and Queen Emma are here."
"Oh let them in," said Luis.
Mr Aurbery nodded.
"Good afternoon. Everyone," said Liam
"Indeed a good afternoon, son. How are you?" said Luis as he stood up.
Liam hugged Luis and answered.
"Nothing we were getting bored at home so we thought why not come and meet you guys,"
"You thought good," said Aleesa.
Liam and Emma exchanged hugs and greetings with everyone and sat down.
"Why were you getting bored?" asked Eleonora.
"We were alone at home," answered Emma.
"You too," said Crystal.
"What do you mean?" asked Emma.
"I mean we are also alone here. All the kids did not come home since the last week," said Eleonora.
"But why did Theo and Adler didn't go home?" said Emma.
"I asked Theo he said he was not with others but he also didn't tell me where he exactly was," said Liam.
"Hmm, okay don't fret. Let me call Nada. Then everyone will come," said Luis as he dialled Nada's number.
"~~~Ring~~~Ring...,"
Luis put the phone on speaker so that everyone can hear.
"Hey, baby Princess," said Luis.
"*whispers* Nada it's your phone."
Luis and everyone else heard the voice and raised their eyebrows. They gave each other some glances and then focused on the call.
"*whispers.* coming."
"Faint sound of footsteps."
"*clears throat hmm. Yes grandpa," said Nada.
"Where were you child?" asked Luis.
"I was here gramps. By the way, why did you call me?" asked Nada.
"Well, I want you to call all the brats and tell them to come home tomorrow or else they don't have to come anymore," said Luis.
"Hmm, I'll do that," said Nada.
"Good, so where are you, Nada?" Luis again asked her.
"Umm, gramps. I have a meeting now gotta go bye,.....doot....." Nada said and hung up the phone.
Luis looked at the phone with an astonished expression for some time. He then looked up and saw everyone having the same expression as his.
They all then looked at each other and started laughing.
"It was Theo, right?" asked Orhan.
"Yes, it was Theo," replied Liam.
"So Theo was not coming home because he was with our Nada," said Eleonora.
"And here I thought he was on some serious mission," said Liam.
"Haha haha," that all laughed.
"Ok, but where is Adler? It's been a week and we have not heard anything from him since then," said Emma worryingly.
"Hmm," hummed Liam. He was also perturbed about his younger son.
"Don't worry. I'll ask Anas and Nada they must know," said Orhan.
He then messaged both Anas and Nada.
(Do you know where is Adler?)
"I sent them a text. they'll reply soon," Orhan assured Liam.
Liam nodded and they all patiently waited for the reply.
Anas: (Nope no idea).
Nada: (He's with Ian).
"Anas said he doesn't know and Nada said he's with Ian," said Orhan.
"Who is Ian?" asked Liam.
"Wait let me ask," said Orhan.
Orhan: (Who is Ian?)
Nada: (Ian Silver).
Orhan: (-__-)
Nada: (What?)
Orhan: (^__-)
Nada: (.....)
Orhan: (Which Ian?)
Nada: (The one you are thinking about.)
"What happened? Why are you looking so pale?" asked Orhan.
"Hmm, nothing. He is with his friend," said Orhan.
"Which friend?" asked Liam doubtfully.
"Some Ian I guess," said Orhan.
"Hmm," Liam hummed.
After that, the elders talked about their thing and soon it was evening. They ate their dinner and slept. Liam and Emma stayed at Dain's palace as it was late.
On the other side. In Grayson's villa.
"Have you found what I told you about?" asked Joshua.
"Master, we tried but we weren't able to find anything," said the two men.
The two men were Joshua's special private investigators.
"How is this possible that there is something the best detectives can't find," said Joshua mockingly.
"We apologize but master that person you asked to investigate is as if he never existed. I think his men are much better than us," said one of those two men.
Joshua sighed and played with a pen kept on his table.
He then said,
"Go and try to find something. Anything even a piece of information is acceptable."
"Yes Master," the two men bowed and left form there.
Joshua stood up and went to the french window and looked at the sky. He inhaled a deep breath and said to himself,
"Who are you? What are you doing to me? I'm not myself anymore. Every time I close my eyes your face comes in front of me. You are occupying my dreams. My days and nights are only filled with your thoughts. I don't know what is this feeling. Sometimes I doubt am I a gay?"
He laughed.
"You have become my favourite thing. I want to think about you whenever I'm free. I want to see you every day. you have become my addiction. Without your thoughts, I can't stay peaceful. My paintings are full of your ethereal face. Not having you by my side, not being able to find you has become my dilemma. Joshua Wyatt Grayson's dilemma."
