Chapter 99: Cute

Saint looked over at Heart and saw him swig back a drink and his cute chuckle floated back to Saint's ears, sweet and charming and filled with lightness. Saint sat forward on his seat and watched as the girls offered Heart another drink. He could tell by the way Heart's back arched that he was feeling the effects of the alcohol.

He had this cute habit of trying not to seem drunk to overcompensate for anything he was doing. If he was sitting he was sitting up too straight, talking, he was going slow so as not to slur his words. Laughing, but trying not to do so too loudly. But the one thing he always failed to do was whisper properly and not speak his mind when he was drunk. So that laugh though not intended to be loud was actually loud enough to stop the conversation around the room. Kit looked over at Saint giving him a look, Ten turned to look at them, eyes twinkling with humor.
