As soon as the police arrived the first thing they noticed was the reek of alcohol.
The apartment was tiny, only a bit over 40 square meters divided in 2 rooms.
They entered the small living room and wherever they looked they saw a lot of alcohol bottles, broken furniture and overall a big mess.
The living room had a small balcony, at the doorstep a man was lying on his stomach.
He was stabbed in the back with a kitchen knife and a lot of blood was surrounding him.
In the corner sat a woman, tears coming out of her eyes.
Her hair was a mess, she had bruises all over her body and in her arm was a little child sleeping peacefully.
The police officer immediately understood what happened and couldn't help but feel sorry for her.
They approached her carefully and took her child away.
Then they helped her get up however
she had only enough energy to protect her child till the officers came and now she fell unconscious.
