Chapter 4: Behind the mask.
He began walking and i silently followed behind him. What could be going on in his head? Why does he make me feel like i have known him for years?
We reached his Apartment and he unlocked the door and let me inside. The place was huge and so beautiful. i snapped out of the trance i was in hearing the sounds of his keys hit the counter. I watched as he made his way to the kitchen.
" Would you like something to drink? Water? Wine? Coffee? Tea?" He asked from across the room.
"Tea would be fine thank you... Uhm Will.. wheres your bathroom?" I asked realizing how i must look after all the events of tonight. Although i much more sober now, I know the drinks and all that has happened tonight took a toll on my appearance.
" Down the hall to the right" He answered fixing 2 cups of tea. I began to walk down the wide hallways taking in the photos of friends and family down the walls. Although i had not yet seen his face due to the mask he was wearing i could tell he was not in any of the photos hanging. What was behind that mask? I know it's just a costume but how long is he going to wear it ? i gasped at my own thoughts ' Is he ever going too take it off in front of me? Will i ever see his full face?'
I entered the bathroom and looked in the mirror. A complete mess stared back at me. My hair was going all directions,makeup running in streaks down my face. 'Great.. He's been staring at me like this the whole night..' I washed my face and tamed my hair the best i could. a shower would best be suited.. I walked out of the bathroom to will who was still sitting in the kitchen. I cleared my throat a bit and he turned to face me. He looked me over and his mouth hung open a bit staring at me from head to toe.. still in my costume.
" I'm sorry do you want to shower?" He asked once he caught his breath. I nodded and followed him into his bedroom. He handed me an over sized tee shirt and a towel. his face was slightly flushed witch just added to his beauty even with the mask.. if that was even possible. He left the room quickly.. was he mad at me? Did i do something. Thoughts began to race again as i entered the bathroom to begin my shower.
Once i was done showering i threw on the shirt he gave me witch ended mid thigh. I towel dried my hair the best i could and raked my fingers through it. I walked into the hallway to the living room area where Will was sitting.
He turned around looking at me in his t-shirt. Mouth hanging open yet again. I ignored it and went around and sat beside him on the couch and grabbed the tea that was not currently occupied by his lips.. his soft lips.. It was silent for a moment to long and i turned to face him. " Will.." I said, almost making him jump by the sudden sound of my voice. " Hmm? " He replied looking away from me for the first time since i walked out of the bathroom flushed again. " Are you ever going to take off that mask? " He Looked at me stunned and suddenly let out a loud laugh. "I forgot i even had it on!" he said as he put his cup down and went to untie the knots holding the mask together. " Ugh.. Skyler.. Can you help me with this?" He turned away from me revealing the knotted mess of strings attached to the mask. I laughed reaching my hands to the back of his head Untangling the strings. The mask didn't fall. Will was holding it to his face and he turned to face me.
"When i take this mask down.. Will you still consider me your Romeo?.." He asked in a serious but soft tone. I don't know what he is to me right now but i know the things he makes me feel i never want to lose. Organizing my thoughts i nodded once. He slowly let the mask fall down his face. He was breathtaking. His dark eyes complimenting his soft light hair. everything about him to his nose his cheeks, his entire face had me breathless. His eyes became hooded and darker as he stared at me and he quickly turned away from me abruptly getting up and heading toward his bedroom. " I'm tired now. You can sleep in the guest bedroom over there.. goodnight. " I got up and rushed after him. " Will.. William wait! Where are you going.. What did I d..." I was cut off by him turning around and pushing me against the hallway wall.
" Look Sky I'm really trying hard not to kiss you again until i know for sure that you are okay with it. I'm trying so hard not to be so pushy but when you look at me they way you do and chase after me saying my name like that...." He pushed his body closer to mine." I'm not going to be able to hold back"
His face was so close to mine i could feel his hot breath on my lips for the second time tonight. I looked up straight into his eyes with no falter. I knew what i wanted.

He laid me on the bed climbing on top of me. his hand trailed down from my back to my sides to my thighs where the shirt he had giving me earlier ended. his hands slid under them carasing my skin back up to my stomach dragging the shirt with him. breaking the kiss He lifted my back a bit to get the shirt off to me and threw it somewhere on the floor. I loved William ,a boy i had just met a few hours ago who made me feel like nothing up until this moment mattered.
