Chapter 1: The chase

Lavender runs as fast as she can away from the hunters they are trying to kill her,and she knows it. She knows she is rare but that means she shouldn't be hunted down! She howls and then she remembered the gam she had in her pocket! She took it out and threw it at the hunter "that should distract them for a while" she thought. She ran and ran and then she finally found a cave at least a mile away from the hunters who saw the gem. She sighed and was panting her purple fur was getting dirty "I should go in the lake soon" she thought. This cave was more like a hut,her antlers were touching the roof! She thought, "how weird am I nobody will like a hybrid,especially one that eats the other kind. And plus wolfs would just call her weird and deers would run away since she looks more wolf then deer." As the sun set she was getting hungry she saw some geese that she could eat. She snuck up on one and then.....she pounced! "At least I won't die of starvation" she said to herself. When she was done eating she felt sleepy as she always did after she ate so she fell asleep thinking "what if the hunters come back? Should I stay up? What if I get eaten by another animal?!" Then every thing went black as she fell asleep....
