Chapter 51: Plotting Against General Wu

"Ahem..." Off on the side, Gong Bo cleared his throat. 'Had these people forgotten that I was here?'

"Old Gong you're still here!?" Emperor Feng Yang asked. He was startled a bit since he had forgotten that the old man was even here.

"Why can't I be here!? That is my granddaughter you know!" Gong Bo yelled out in rage. 'Was this little bastard trying to kick me out of my granddaughter's home!?'

"Granddaughter? Who's your granddaughter? One of the maids?" Emperor Feng Jie was confused. He had no idea Gong Bo had a granddaughter.

Feng Jie and Wu Shuyu who were watching from the side covered their mouths as they laughed at the two's shenanigans. It was quite a good show to see.

"My granddaughter is right there! Yu'er come stand by your grandfather's side get away from this little bastard!" Gong Bo waved his hand for Wu Shuyu to come over.

Wu Shuyu looked over at Gong Bo who was calling her over with a smile on his face. Wu Shuyu gave Gong Bo a bright smile and said: "I'm sorry grandpa Gong if granddaughter is out of Jie'er's embrace for more than five minutes, granddaughter will collapse from Jie'er withdrawals!" After saying her words like a rabbit she ran over to Feng Jie and jumped into his lap. "You two can fight it out though. The two of us will watch from the side. Minger!"

"Yes, Young Miss?" Qin Ming who had been standing at the side the entire time stepped forward.

"Bring us some grapes and other snacks so Jie'er and I can have something to eat while we watch the show." Gong Bo and Emperor Feng Yang both looked at Wu Shuyu wide eyed. Both of them had the same thoughts 'This damn girl was using us as entertainment!'

"Humph! Old Gong, It's fine for you to be here. We were just going over how to anger General Wu to death." Emperor Feng Yang ignored Wu Shuyu and turned to talk to Gong Bo.

"This is something that should be done! What are you planning to do to him this time? This old man will help out." Gong Bo's eyes sparkled. It had been a long time since he caused trouble for anyone.

"Yu'er wants the General's Manor. We figured tomorrow at the Banquet we would award her the entire General's Manor along with her new title of Imperial Daughter and the official announcement of Yu'er and Jie'er's engagement." Emperor Feng Yang explained. He really could not wait to see the look on General Wu's face when he learned he had lost his house to the daughter he threw away.

"Oh! Father Emperor, we should also hold a tournament! Where the winner gets one imperial grace! Hold it for the younger generation. For those eighteen years of age and under. It will pull my good for nothing father in to put up all his sons and daughters in the arena. Which at that time this daughter will reveal her true strength and give them all a good beating!" Wu Shuyu said as her eyes lit up. She really wanted to beat up each and every one of her brothers in sisters. Since it was hard to do while in the General's Manor it would be easy while in a tournament.

"Good! This is a good idea! Only… Yu'er, you know you can not kill them at an Imperial Banquet. That can only be done during life and death bouts." Emperor Feng Yang said seriously.

"Un! It's fine. This daughter is not strong enough yet to go against the entire General's Manor at this time. Although this daughter is causing them all massive headaches right now and almost angering this daughter's good for nothing father to death. This daughter still does not have the strength to wipe them all out. This daughter will need to reach Father Emperor's level before that will happen. Otherwise, my good for nothing father will easily kill this daughter in a fight." Wu Shuyu knew she was still way too weak to fight against General Wu. So she was not dumb enough to fully pick a fight with them by killing any members of the family just yet. Right now General Wu cared too much about his face to personally take revenge on her.

"Un! It is good that Yu'er knows her limits. For now, just continue to dwindle down General Wu's ego as much as you can. Plus his distorted and rage filled face really makes us feel good!" Emperor Feng Yang said with a big smile on his face.

Gong Bo rolled his eyes. 'This little bastard never changes! He still loves to anger people to death!'

"Bah! I'm going back to the pavilion. You three have fun in your little schemes. Yu'er I will see you at the banquet tomorrow. " Gong Bo couldn't watch this farce any longer. He was too old to keep up with the younger generation and their tricks.

Wu Shuyu jumped out of Feng Jie's embrace and ran over to Gong Bo and gave him a hug. "I will see you tomorrow at the banquet, Grandpa Gong!" Wu Shuyu really liked Gong Bo. He seemed to care for her quite a bit. Wu Shuyu figured from now on she would have to make sure to stop by the Harmony Pavilion more often to visit him.

"Un! Behave yourself. Do not stir up any trouble that you are not able to handle and if you do just ask that little bastard over there to handle it for you." Gong Bo gestured with his chin towards Emperor Feng Yang.

"Un! I will! Bye Grandpa Gong!" Wu Shuyu smiled and waved as Gong Bo left.

"We will also take this time and leave as well." Emperor Feng Yang went to get up out of his seat but stopped when he heard Wu Shuyu's voice.

"Father Emperor you can't leave yet. As Father Emperor's daughter in law, please allow this daughter to cook you a meal!" Wu Shuyu said with a smile. For her first meeting with Jie'er's father, she had to do something for him.

"If Yu'er wants to cook for us, we will stay!" Emperor Feng Yang was very happy that he was going to get a meal personally cooked by his new daughter in law.

"Good! You sit down and talk with Jie'er this daughter will go start cooking!" Wu Shuyu was happy Emperor Feng Yang agreed to stay for dinner. She happily skipped her way out of the room leaving the two men to sit and talk amongst themselves.
