"Mom, you know I had talked with Akks and she suggested me that I should take medical course." "Oh really, I had also thought the same. But since you had told that you wanted to study abroad so, I didnot say anything. But it would have been nice if a member of our family was of a medical field." "So, mother thinks like that."
Simran goes to her room and lies on her bed, "If I was a medical practicioner, then I can take care of mom and dad now and during their old age. Since, we had no knowledge on health practices, my grandmother who used to have bad life habits (she used to drink alcohol, fight with others, obese) she later suffered from paralysis and heart disease. If only we had prevented before then the outcomes wouldnot have been so bad for her. Ugggghh! What should I do?"
Next day
"Mom, I want to say something. I decided that I will give entrance exam for medical course. I will try for nursing course. Since I havenot taken entrance classes, so if I fail the exam I will study abroad and by chance if I pass the exam I will study medical course." "Okay, my daughter. You should do what you think the best is for you." "Thanks mom. I will borrow book from my friend and study for the exam. The exam is next month. I have to prepare well."
Simran then studies for the exam with her full attention. She gives the examination and then awaits for the result.
"Hello! Is it Ms Simran?"
"Yes. I am."
"I am calling from Florence Academy. I want to inform you that you have passed the exam. In fact you have became the 5th ranker of the exam. You can visit our college for admission and other procedures. Thank you."
"Thank you."
"What was that. so I really passed the entrance exam. Mom, momm, momm where are you?" With a bright smile on her face Simran hurriedly went to her mothers side and told her the good news. Then they called her father and also their other family members and told them about the good news.
