Chapter 1: Where is she?
Susan Anderson was crying on the hospital bed with a lot of hateful glare on her but she could do nothing.
She tried explaining that she didn't know where her sister was... but no one believed her. Some said she sent those people to attack her sister so that her sister would die and she would be able to to marry her sister's husband-to-be. Only she knew that she was not interested in her brother-in-law-to-be. Others said she hates her sister because she had all the good things and she was invincible.
As Susan sat down under the watchful gaze of the others, she thought of what happened just a few hours ago. It still felt surreal.
*Flashback*
About six hours ago, Ivy Anderson, Susan's step-sister told Susan to go somewhere with her saying it won't be long before they got back. Susan didn't want to go with her but because her mom would force her to go with Ivy, she agreed. She always did what her mom wants her to do since she was little.
When they got to where they were going, they both got out but Ivy was shouting on Susan that she did not have to follow her again that she can find her way from there unknown to them that somebody was watching them.
Susan went back to the car and sat there waiting for Ivy. But when Ivy came back she was running and sweating while there where some people chasing her. She jumped into the driver's seat and started the car zooming off at a very high speed.
"What is happening" Susan shouted at her sister panicking from what was happening. "Just sit there and keep quiet like you always do" Ivy shouted back at her.
Susan kept quiet watching as her sister drove like a mad person. She didn't know what to do so she started calling her mother but before she could speak, she heard a cold voice saying "Just do what Ivy wants to do. You should know better than anyone to call me at this time of the day" then the call ended.
Knowing that her mother would answer Ivy's call anytime, she used Ivy's phone to call her mother again and she heard a sweet voice from the other end asking "What can I do for you my sugar pie?"
Susan cringed when she heard the sweet voice of her mother but at the same time, she was sad and dazed.
One must know that this was not the first or second time she was hearing this voice... but.. every time she hears it, it was not for her. She becomes sad and even thinks to herself that surely, she is not her mother's daughter and that Ivy was her daughter.
In her dazed state she disconnects the call and stares at the phone in her hand. Then she hears Ivy screaming and asking her a bunch of questions at the top of her lungs "What do you think you are doing? Why didn't you answer mommy? Why didn't you say anything? Do you want to die?"
When Susan raised her head to look at her sister who was looking at her, something outside cut her attention and she shouted "Look out!!!" but it was too late!!! The car beside them already hit the side of their car and because Ivy wasn't focusing, she already loosened her grip on the steering wheel making the car swerved to the side hitting the roadblock stopping the car from going further.
Ivy wasn't wearing her seatbeat so her head hit the steering wheel then the window and back to the steering wheel and she fell unconscious while Susan only fainted from the impact. She woke up a few minutes later, got out of the car and went to Ivy's side to open the door when she noticed that the gas tank was busted and was licking and the car was burning from the back. she didn't know what to do so she dragged ivy out and away from the car then the car blew up. She was so relieved that they got out of the car on time that she did not notice that their chaser was behind her who knocked her out
*End of flashback*
And here she was trying to explain that she knows nothing about the accident but they weren't even listening.
