Chapter 1: Start Of A New Game

The newest vr game to date. The game to replace all games. Complete and total freedome to do as you see fit. The lines between reality and games forever blurred. these where all the reviews that was being said about the newist game to come out the world online and I was lucky enough to score a beta copy of it. The reason i got the beta key for it was I won a battle royal in there last game conquest. I was the top shadow mage in the game but now with the world online coming out conquest would become a thing of the past and if i wanted to stay current with my fans online i would have to move on to the new game and hopefully this beta key will help me stay ahead of the rest of the people playing. I check the time and see that the game is only seconds away from being relased for beta. I login to wait down the countdown. 3.. 2.. 1 a prompt pops up in front of me congratulations lucky player you have a beta key to the world you may play a week earlier then most other people only one million beta keys where relased and you where lucky enough to get one of them during this week you will get to play the world online but to keep it fair a level cap has been put in for skills and your level the cap level is 19 while your level may be capped your fun will not be and you may try any and all functions as long as your strong enough good luck making the world your own. a new menu character creation first choice your race[ human,elf,orc,dwarf, beastmen,goblin,gnome, hybrid, aarakocra, goliath,bugbear,troll,merman, triton,] dear god there is a huge amount of different groups to choice from i think about carefully choosing what race to be then again back in the old table top days i use to love playing aa beastmen becuse who dosent want to be a bad ass wolfman I click on beastmen. and get a new pop up warning beastmen start with additional stats at the cost of being considered an out cast in most countries and not having a true country of there own it is advised to choice another starting race for first time players. i click confirm to continue on with my selection. choice one of three starting location easy green hills medium last stop black woods hard seas rest port. i select seas rest port because the greater the challenge the better the opportunitys. the final prompt appears choice starting class commoner or random. staring class may have an effect on starting game play including putting you in a starting mission. i click random and get a new prompt[ warning you have chosen one of the more hard starting classes and race and class it is advised you make some changes or you may find the game very hard play.] haha bold of you to assume thats not exactly what i want. next they take me to a new screen that allows me to customize my looks i change it very little just enough to make it hard to recognize me but not enough to where people cant recognize how handsome i am. i click accept and i starting spinning around. soon my vision clears and a prompt apears before me [ seas rest port population 32,987 the beastmen population is 7,651 beast men are considered second rate citizen's and for the most part live in the ghetto since the beastmen are miss treated and abused they have formed a militia to defend themselves and to accomplish missions for them since the adventure association will not take any of there jobs. seas rest port is a mainly a trade village and rest with citys further up the coast seas rest mainly gets the over flow from the islands near by you start off as a new recruit for the militia your random start is considered an B class start.] the next prompt apears [ congratulations your starting class is militia you gain one free attribute per level and one point of strength max level ten dose not count in total level ranking progress in beginning mission to unlock skills and a main class] i look around see other men standing in line everyone hear has part looking like a animal most just ears and tail but probably the tallest and strongest looking one of us is coverd in hair and almost completely looks like a bear. From looking around there's about fifty of us.I appear to be the only wolf among us most seem to be rabbits or raccoons with a few deer and dogs i even see four cats with another being a lion. A gaint ox of beastmen comes out he starts yelling "alright listen up you sorry excuse for fighting men you all want to be proper militia men and women don't make me laugh in the next twelve days i will put you through hell and back and if you can make it you might just have what it takes to call your selfs a militia and get the chance to train in a main job but i will warn you now we will only be allowing the elite in the militia we dont have the resources to spar on waste. now get down and do fifty push ups [ new mission basic training from hell. Rank A. mission overview this is a multistage mission in order to achieve compilation you must pass all missions . the first requirement do fifty push ups reward 25 exp.] I get down and do fifty push ups easily while me and many of the recruits seem to find it easy due to are increased stats i do notice a few that seem to struggle with it mhh i havent pulled up my stats yet lets take a look [name leaf lupin race wolf beastmen stats strength 14 constitution 13 wisdom 13 agility 13 endurance 13 charisma 16 dexterity 15 luck 13 one free attributes. 25 exp out 100 militia] no wonder i can do fifty pushups thats simple with with my stat build i might have one of the strongest starting builds. although my charisma is my strongest stats it wont stay that way for long. next the gaint ox says alright time to give you all a pt test this will be the first round of cuts any one who dosent at least score sixty points in all categorys will be kicked out get in two lines.[ new mission basic training from hell part two for the second part you will take a pt you must do at least 40 push up 50 situps and run two miles in 16 minutes and 34 seconds failure will result in being removed from training and becoming a commoner reward this is challenged based the higher you rank among your peers the higher your final results] awsome good thing i have trained countless times doing those three events while i might only be able to use what my stats give me but with all the times i have done them i know the perfect form to use to get the most out of my body that should give me a slight advantage the big bear guy is first in my line he gets down and starts to go at it not caring about form or anything just pushing himself up and down as many times as possible when his two minutes was up he ended up doing 86. the line kept going and with no one get quite as high of a number but no one had failed yet i get down and start pushing as fast as possible as soon as i get tired i move my arms apart further to use a different muscle group and keep doing this everytime i start to tire and in the end i do 87 pushups. i look over to my right and see the lion get up he got 86. the rest of the line finshes we all pass which is good but it would be odd that someone couldn't considering we just proved we could do fifty of them whatever situp time and this us easy my best event the rules with this event said you had to hold the legs of the person after you so we got started. i ended up doing 100 i stepped up feeling good about myself but i looked over that lion had done 101 sit ups putting us tied for first. i was holding the legs of the next person he was the one who seemed to be struggling the most he was a turtle type beastmen. one of three he had scales on his whole body. when the time got to a minute he had only done thirty mot really leaving himself alot of time to he his last twenty in i start to yell at him"come you need to hurry up you can do this he" he starts to speed up alitte but we got down to the last ten seconds and he still has five to go i yell out with all the force i have " hurry up do you want to be a militia man or not"a slight glows covers everyone and the turtle speeds up and just barely passes he smiles and says "thank you i couldn't do it with out your help." a new prompt. comes up [ you have learned a new ability rallying shout boost stamina by ten points and increase all stats by one for thirty minutes for all allies cool down 24 hours ]mhh a nefty new ability and should be useful for the run with that we finish up the sit ups and we get ready to start the run . me and the lion are neck and neck. the finish line is in sight and i can't shake the lion it actually looks like he might beat me by a step and come in first place in the competition i cant have that i put the one free stat point i have in to agility to boost my speed and push myself for all i have and come in front just three steps ahead barely a seconds difference the new pop shows up [ congratulations you took first place in the pt mission and have received one hundred militia points ]
