Chapter 5: Progress
[Level of Ki control has reached Perfect. The host is now able to distinguish the Ki of Evil and Rigoutous beings.]
'This is what I have been waiting for!'
Zero focused heavily on the construction of the planet for about 15 years, he watched as the valley they settled in went through every step of Technology until the Kianko got the settlement to the level of the truffle civilization. Of course, the Truffles were still far more advanced due to the many years and many individuals they had to work together to reach the point they were at, however, the Kianko had a head start due to their knowledge. At that point, he deemed there was no longer a need for him to personally handle the day to day operations so he asked Oracle if there was a way to Identify the energy of people with Righteous ki after many years of deliberation over how he was going to find this supposedly dead Saiyan.
Oracle stated that once someone has a complete understanding of ki they will be able to distinguish the two opposing forces with their ki sense. However, since no one has ever had complete mastery over their ki before Zero had to do it the hard way and train once again in his ki control and sense.
It's like being blind now suddenly you can see, everyone's ki has a direct relation to their overall nature as a person. At the Standard level, they all appear to be a few general colors such as white, blue, purple, yellow, pink, or green. However through the eyes of someone who has the maximum possible understanding of ki they can see every color which is a direct representation of a person's Karma.
King Yemma reviews the deeds of the departed using his book of the dead, Righteous people are able to receive a Halo while keeping their body (If they died with their body not completely destroyed). While Evil people are sent to hell. Yet Zero can see the true nature of a person through their Ki without a need for the book of the dead as a medium.
Zero was seated in the Underground training area he had built for his Training. His Black Bio suit illuminated by the LED lights in the ceiling as his Bio-Gem shined refracting the light. The interesting thing about Frost Demons is that their bodies do not age, Instead the Bio gems on their bodies dim as they get closer to death. The Bio-Gem on Zero's head looked unchanged in this past 9 Decades, not only that, despite his meager increase in strength over the years his reflexes were improved as a result of the ki training, based on the movement of ki in the body he can decipher where the next attack will be.
Rising from his seated position Zero walked towards the lift to bring him into the palace that before his training did not exist. When the doors opened he was amazed by what he saw. The elevator was hidden behind a bookcase that was located in an office. The office was designed with Zero in mind as it gave off an Elegant, cold, and intellectual vibe. The books were the fruits of Planet Zero finally being able to trade with Planet Plant as there were many different genres that lined the shelves. The furniture was made out of Frost Wood native to the planet, the main color of it was white with small gains that ran parallel to the wood. There were two windows that looked out towards the sea with dark wooden floors and walls to contrast the white furniture.
Walking out of his office there were two guards at the door, upon seeing him the guards who were chatting calmly felt their bodies go stiff as they snapped to attention.
"....Zero-Sama…."
One of the Guards opened his mouth but that was all he managed to get out. Everyone on the planet knew about the Frost Demon that allowed them to gain the power they had now but the newer members of the Race have never seen him before. After years of their parents, sometimes Grandparents telling them the story of the Black Lifeform that brought them to this Planet they have yet to see him. 82 Years have passed since Zero saw another Kianko besides Ringo who delivered his meals, so these 3rd-Generation Kinko are new to him.
"Where is Ringo?"
The Guard that was brave enough to say out his name was the one Zero locked his eyes upon, The Guard tensed up as his mind went blank and he didn't know what to say. Their parents' Idol was standing in front of them, the creator of their race, the Highest Authority on the Planet.
"Ringo-sama is in the conference room, on the 3rd floor!"
"Oh, Lead the way."
Zero gestured at the Guards and immediately started to move to navigate Zero through the Palace that was far too large. Along the way, the Guards and the Palace staff in the Halls cleared the way as they looked at their leader.
"That's Zero-sama!"
"Did you feel that when you made eye contact?"
"Yeah, It felt like I stared into an abyss."
"Zero-sama is so small and cute!"
Silence.
It got so quiet the only thing that could be heard was the noise of the City down below as everyone stopped their conversations and looked at the one that said that.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA, You think I'M cute?"
The Maid got nervous as she didn't think she said that out loud.
"I know that I am small. It's just a feature that came along in this transformation due to me being less powerful than my true form, but this is the first time I have been called cute."
Placing his hand on his chin for a moment Zero thought about it, then shook his head and beckoned the guards to continue leading the way.
Arriving at the conference room zero walked in while the guards waited outside, inside of the room there were 5 people. Upon seeing Zero they all rose from their seats as Zero made his way toward the vacant seat at the head of the table.
"It seems that time is slowly catching up to you all."
"Zero-sama, not everyone can be graced with longevity like you."
Ringo said that as he stroked his beard which is starting to show hints of White mixed into the purple.
"Zero-sama, during your training we have made contact with a few unexplored planets in the galaxy. 1 Planet is primarily Ice which we have identified to be your homeworld, the frost demons on that planet aren't as strong as you are however they are extremely hostile. 2 Habitable planets with primitive life, however, we found nothing to gain from these planets in terms of resources only the Nitrogen on Planet Geyser would be of use."
"Ringo, Planet Geyser is off-limits until Year 738, there are beings on that planet that will be of use in the coming years."
"Yes, sir. We have also created a ship that can travel to the north galaxy in 1 month. I remember you saying you have a need to travel to a faraway planet."
"Well, Ringo how about we do a little sparring? It's been decades since I've last expended any effort in a fight or had a fight at all. I could use a little warm-up to get the blood flowing. How about it?"
Zero looked at Ringo with the look of a wise sage that has become even more studious and well-learned during his seclusion. His eyes displayed a depth that wasn't there moments ago as his entire presence changed, he went from a small harmless creature to an Apex predator. Ringo felt as if he was a Zebra harmlessly roaming the Savanna before the Lion sank his fangs into his flesh.
The Other elder Kiankos within the room felt this change as well as they all swallowed a mouthful of saliva. Cold sweat appeared on the backs as they tried to make themselves small. The Ruler of the Planet has returned and despite the years that have passed Time seems to have no effect on him.
Ringo looked at the Frost Demon that was not displaying an arrogant air but an air of confidence that seemed to come from the very soul. Even though he was the smallest individual in the room he gave off the largest presence that could not be ignored, like a peasant that made Eye contact with a Monarch Ringo felt inferior yet the Saiyan DNA within him was curious about the power Zero had.
Ringo raised his head and looked at Zero in the eye without wavering before uttering the words that would make this day a day the residents of planet Zero would never forget.
"Zero-sama, I shall indulge you."
"Hehehehe, you have gotten quite sure of yourself as you've aged the old you would have declined immediately, how times have changed."
Zero then stood up and walked towards the door as Ringo and the Elders followed behind, opening the Door Zero didn't even bother with the Guards on post by the doors that were extremely curious about his presence and proceeded to walk towards the steps with the others in tow. It was not until the entourage reached the bottom of the STeps that Zero came to a realization.
"How do we exit the Palace?"
At that moment everyone was struck with a wave of embarrassment as they forgot to Give Zero-sama a tour of his own Palace.
After explaining the complex layout of the Palace they arrived outside of Kanako City around 100 miles away from any form of civilization. Taking their positions on opposite sides of an open field Zero and Ringo took a fighting stance.
Ringo took the first move as he dashed towards Zero and unleashed a hail of blows. He used his entire body to create an opening throwing punches, elbows, kicks, knees, yet they all were deflected with ease by Zero's tail.
Seeing that this level of power wasn't effective Ringo began to raise the strength behind the blows in an attempt to get Zero to use his other limbs to attack or defend. Blow after blow was thrown and blocked, just the wind given off from their "Warm-up" kicked up dust and uprooted trees as the two moved swiftly throughout the area.
After what may have been thousands of exchanges Ringo got Zero to use his hands to deflect and counter-attack which made him advance with confidence as he felt his hard work finally paid off.
Then all of a sudden Zero separated from Ringo and took a passive stance.
"Oya, Oya, it would seem you are no longer that newly born Kianko from years ago with a power level under 100k. You almost made me get serious here, Almost."
Ringo took a passive stance after he heard Zero say this as well and he looked at the Frost Demon with a complicated look as he spoke.
"While you were training your Ki Sense and Control, I trained my raw power yet the gap is still this Wide while this isn't even your final form."
His eyes turned downcast for a moment when he said this as he looked now at the ground avoiding eye contact with anyone seemingly lost in his thoughts.
"However, This too is not my Final Form."
Ringo then made his hands into fists as his Ki started to rage, the original tranquil Blue Ki turned Violent yet there was no hint of malicious just rage in its truest and most primal form. The Color then started to flicker and change into a deep red hue while Ringo's Purple hair turned white and stood up straight facing the sky. His Purple pupils turned red as his power spiked destroying the rocks and obliterating the trees.
"Ha! I changed the Saiyan DNA to create you all yet this is my first time seeing the Ascendant form. I can feel the Rage in your Ki yet it doesn't seem to affect your emotions personally and your power seems to have increased far beyond a normal Saiyan due to this. You Skipped the base of Super Saiyan and went straight to Super Saiyan Full power, so your control over you ki should be the same as if you were in your base form making the form feel natural. I might have unknowingly created a batch of prodigal Young Masters if I compare you to Saiyans."
Zero Decided to transform to his 6th and most hated form, The reason why he hated this form was due to the daunting similarities to Cooler's Final form as he now had an Apparatus which covered his mouth while his Bio-Gem shrunk and condensed sitting in the center of his head.
"I will respond in tow Ringo."
