Chapter 5: Ancient Human/ Ancient Elementalist
"Olympus, the temple of Gods?" Daniel read about it before. In ancient era this is where all the ancient beings are blessed. And was given their respective chosen classes.
"Why is this place like this?" Daniel asks a question to the hooded man.
"This place signifies the end of Ancient Era, the war of that time was destructive that even this place was consumed by the fires of war. Dragons, Angles, Demons" The hooded man slightly look at Daniel with crimson eyes.
"And the most destructive of them all are Ancient Human" The hooded man proceeded walking again.
"Ancient Human?" Daniel was shocked by the revelation.
"Isn't human are on the bottom of the food chain?" Daniel knows that, if we're talking about humans right now, they really might contend with other beings. But he felt peculiar that in ancient era where extraordinary beings reign the world, human still can fight and wreak havoc. He thought that they will be considered as slaves, as they were primitive at that time.
"You're right and wrong at the same time, you can say that they are really primitive people, but some humans at that time are blessed with extraordinary potential, isn't that the trait you humans have?. Nonetheless, even I the one who have seen it all. Don't know if there are still ancient humans exist in the current God's Domain" The hooded explain more.
"Some ancient humans can even learn something in just a short period of time, unlike the other species who needed decades even to understand some knowledge. Then they waved war on each other. In the nobody totally won in the end. The corpses you see outside are ancient humans that defended this place to stop the cycle of creation, but still ended up in destruction" They arrived in the center of the temple.
Daniel saw multitudes of statues representing their races. But they are not as magnificent as he thought it was. Some were broken, some parts are missing. Some even fully disintegrated over time.
"This is the center of the temple" The hooded man then flew up, and sat on a golden throne. Looking at Daniel.
"I don't know how you got lost in space, but this might be the prophecy my ancestors have said. They proclaimed that I should wait here until someone arrived even if the end of my lifespan comes, I'll wait until my time comes. I thought I would die without fulfilling my duties as a clansman of the giant dragon race, I've watched the transition of the end of the ancient era until today and will never have any contribution to my race. I've been here all alone watching everything in silence" The hooded man growled in reminiscence of the past.
"Human, I have the task to bless you and guide you to this world" The hooded man raised his hand again.
Daniel was quiet all this time. He then felt he was floating again. He was brought to the center of the altar. The altar was broken in the sides, there is not even a speck of energy here.
"Human, do you accept the blessing of the ancient era? You'll be tasked with a great campaign and hardship the moment you succeed and got out of this place" The hooded man then ask the final question that he had been waiting for.
Daniel then thought about the pros and cons. He then finally nodded and approved of this endeavor.
"I accept!" Daniel firmly answered without any hesitation any more.
"Very well! You maybe can change this world as they prophecies have said" The hooded man open both of his hands and waved in other directions.
A special phenomenon happened. The altar suddenly lights up, as if a dead being was being resurrected. The center of the temple suddenly change, returning to its previous look. Full of vigor and life. Suddenly the statues suddenly move and revert back to its original form. As if they are really alive. The statues roared shooting a beam of light between their brows, all the beams connected in the middle of the altar where Daniel is standing. The beam suddenly descended and hit Daniel.
Daniel felt something inside his body, as if he is changing the structure of life itself. He suddenly felt pain all over his body that he had never felt before, this force him to roar in the air, this is the result of evolving to an advance being yet still he retains who he is.
"Is this the potential of ancient human?" Daniel suddenly floated in the air. His body glowing as if he was a god from the fairy tales. His body suddenly grew from 170 cm to 185 cm.
Daniel didn't adjust his body, yet it has already changed without his consent. Suddenly a massive amount of hooded people suddenly showed up surrounding the altar in the center of the altar.
All of them embroidered with gold, suddenly all of them chant an obscure language. A magic circle floated in the body of these people and rose into the air. The magic circles suddenly converge and transform into a giant circle of magic floating around Daniel.
Suddenly an illusion pops up in front of Daniel. Showing for being with different attire and weapons.
"I see, they represent the four categories" Daniel quickly recognized the four humans.
Daniel already has a plan in his mind. At first he also wanted to pick Swordsman like the original protagonist in the novel. But he realized that the classes should be compatible with the personality and strengths of the user. He then pointed his hand in the Mage category.
The Mage Category split into three images. They are Elementalist, Summoner, Cursemancer.
In terms of destructiveness nobody can beat a Mage, he then pointed his hand again at the Elementalist.
"For the close combat problems, I'll think of it later" Daniel then saw images of the Elementalist exploded to lights in which flew into him.
Daniel again felt a change. A new energy is flowing in his body.
"This is Mana I think!" It turned into a ball and expanded, and stopped. It flew again in his brows like before.
The ceremony was already over. Daniel, who was floating in the air gently swayed back to the altar standing. He looked at his surroundings and felt a pain in his heart. Because the light is dimming faster than when it lights up. The altar lost its life much worse than before he arrived. They lost the color, turning to black. Some pieces, even broke and fall to the ground and turned to ash.
"That is just a spell, temporarily turning back a certain place in time. With a heavy consequence" The hooded man suddenly coughed up blood and lost all of his strength.
Daniel runs through to the hooded man, even if he doesn't know who is this. He deserved respect due to his loyalty and conviction. Daniel holds the man in his arms. Daniel felt crying, he stopped and show a serious face.
"I'll fulfill the prophecy, don't worry. You can rest in peace!" Daniel then show his conviction.
"Hahahaha young man, I'll give you a personal gift before I die" The Hooded man pointed his finger and placed it in the forehead of Daniel. He whispered, then a flash of energy flew inside Daniel again.
"My name is Uldridaen!" The hooded man spoke in obscure language. Even if Daniel doesn't know about it, he will remember it and find what is real meaning of it in the future.
The Hooded man finally closed his eyes. His body turned to a speck of lights and turned into a giant dragon as big as a continent, Daniel also tried to fly up. But he can't.
"How do I get out of here?" Daniel realized the problem he has. He walked outside the temple.
The Giant Dragon suddenly looks at him, smiled and pointed his hand again at him.
"Damn it! This again!" Daniel was scared, he might have a trauma from travelling in worm holes.
"Goodbye Young man!" The Giant Dragon dissipated while smiling at Daniel.
Daniel looked at the dissipating Giant Dragon while he was being sucked inside the wormhole. He also smiled and waved.
"Goodbye!" Daniel was then teleported again.
He showed up in the multicolored tunnel from the beginning.
Suddenly a little dragon flew towards Daniel. The little dragon is so cute that even Daniel with his calm mind cannot stop to grab it and hug it.
"Oh my god! I want to have a pet like this!" Daniel hugs it tightly that it started wriggling.
Its head suddenly poopped up with its tongue dangling like a dog. The little dragon then flew out of his hands and talk.
"Job selection complete. Please designate a name for your avatar."

Daniel chose his last name and the original protagonist last name for his respect to that character. Even he doesn't know if that man exists in this world he live in.
He just smiled and proceeded with the process
"Naming successful. Do you wish to adjust your appearance? Adjustable rate limited to 15%"
"I still can change my appearance?" Daniel felt weird because he already gained so much height, elevating it more will attract attention, so he decided not to change his height.
"Hmmm, what should I do?" Daniel then got an Idea.
"He lengthens his avatar's hair to his waistline, this is in order to hide some of his weapons and features" Daniel doesn't know that this made his idea turn up to be one of his stupid decision if he looked back at this time. He will just laugh.
"Please select a birthplace in the Beast Empire."
A map that displayed dozens of cities belong to the Beast Empire appeared in front of Daniel.
The opening of God's Domain was globally synchronized and proportionally bigger or larger than the real world. To accommodate for hundreds of million of players, the lands of God's Domain were incredibly massive and boundless, measuring up to two or three times on earth, and the kingdoms and empire within were even plentiful. However, a player's living area and city, in reality, determines the country they would start in, so players could only choose the cities within the country.
In which the area of Atlantis is directly proportioned at Beast Empire.
"Dragon City."
Daniel picks one of the main cities in the Beast Empire, as he has the advantage there for having ideas of dragons.
Dragon City can be considered the former capital of Beast Empire, but the absence of resource and talent lost its prestige. The current emperor of the Beast Empire is not even a Dragon.
Even if it is a declining city, he still chose it. The workshops and treasure still exist abundantly. Also, he felt that this is where his journey will start.
"City confirmed. The Player will arrive in in Salamander town in Dragon City in five seconds. We wish you a happy adventure!"
The little dragon tried to fly away, but was grabbed by Daniel. He hugs it lovingly before he dissipated and waved goodbye to it.
The little dragon smiled and flew into the horizon.
On the other hand Daniel, open his eyes and saw a breathtaking scene, buildings were randomly everywhere, with an Oriental design it was like he was in Edo era in Japan. NPCs filled the streets as if everyone is doing something without any pause or hesitation.
Daniel walked to a pond nearby and looked at his reflection. He looked like a scion of a noble house that was thrown away. He has a gray robed and novice leather arm guard in his arm, with a stick wand in his hand that look like broke Wizard in Harry Potter.
He then started walking around, familiarizing with his body and environment. He also saw other players arriving in bulk. Looking for quest as soon as they arrived. Some even went out the wilderness to farm.
Daniel then didn't pay attention to the other players. He thought of something and waved his fingers, then at his Avatar Attribute Panel appeared in front of him.

"What the?, Time ring? Dragon's eye? What the hell is this?" Daniel felt stupid on when he had this equipment on his inventory. He then remembered when he took the ring from the hand, and when the hooded man gave him something.
He then looked at his bag and was shocked again.
"What the hell?"

UltimateGodlyGene It's been hard paraphrasing some of the original Chapter. I had a hard time creating the status of the players, I'm giving him some advantage but not to OP you know? Because it will be boring ahhaaha
I don't know what is the exact status of a magician in the original novel, still I adjusted it based on the special effect of the magician when it come to damage output. And Having a special race like that.
