Chapter 35: Chapter 36
Camryn's POV
'Finally, I would be free from this cruel world'
Those are the last words I said to myself and then I was falling into the darkness and nothingness. I felt like I was floating into oblivion. Everything now will be alright and it's fine with me, for at last I would be at peace.
No more pain and heartaches. I will just be here, peaceful and free. I started to feel at ease and relaxed.
But not until all of a sudden a strong whirlwind emerged out of nowhere and it pulled me into it. The strong wind swirled around me. I felt confused and scared at the same time as what was happening to me again. I thought I was now in peace and free from all of these and yet here it is again.
The wind pick up its pace and gets stronger and rapidly swirled more around me until my head hurt and I felt dizzy. The strong sound of the wind harshly pierced my ears. Instantly I covered my ears with my hands and closed my eyes. And I prayed.
'Please, all I want is to be in peace'
And then swiftly the wind had vanished in just a blink of an eye and I felt everything around me was eerie silent. Until I heard a soft gentle voice whispered to me.
"You will soon find peace.."
Slowly, I open my eyes and saw that I was back again in this place where I had seen and spoken to my parents. I was back in this unendless field full of different beautiful flowers. I look around me and saw no one.
It was beautiful here. A wonderful night sky hovers above me. It was fascinating to look at that you wanted to lay down in these flowers under the night sky watching the stars above you and under the magnificent moonlight.
'I will find my peace here' I mumbled to myself 'I wish to be here forever.'
A bright light suddenly lit above me and my eyes were blinded by it.
"You will find your peace in the comfort of the one whom I destined you to be with."
It was the strange voice again. The sound of its voice was so serene that it seemed unearthly. I look up to where the voice came from and it was coming from the beaming light shining down on me. I raise my hands infront of my eyes to cover them up from the intense light.
"It is not yet your time to be here."
The voice kept speaking to me behind this light.
'Who are you?' I ask back still with my hands shielding my eyes from it. But the voice didn't respond to my question.
"Someone needs you more and so I'm sending you back."
'What do you mean?'
"Just keep this in mind and your heart.."
I felt suddenly a warm presence infront of me and I backed away from the intensity of it but then I stop when the light slowly surround me and I was baffled at what was happening. I panicked when it wrap around my body.
And then the voice spoke to me again and this time I felt that it was just infront of me.
"I chose you to be his for you are the perfect one to be his equal. From what you have been through, all your heartaches and sufferings will be your strength to be different from the others."
'What are you saying?'
"You are bound to do more. I know you will be more than I expected you to be."
My heart skipped a beat when the light engulf me, coating my whole body. And the voice feels closer to me, embracing me.
"All the misery and pains that you had to face and endure have reasons. And Why it needs to happen to you. It will give you a purpose to fulfill. You will be their hope."
I felt a warm feeling swirled in my heart as the voice keeps on.
"You have an extraordinary heart that no one has. Just trust in your heart. Trust in yourself and always trust your wolf."
My tears began to fall down my cheeks upon the words I'd heard. I remembered those exact words that my mother had said to me before she died.
'Why are you saying these to me? Who are you?'
The light burst with more brightness until I have to close my eyes from its intense light. The voice whispered to me made me feel comfortable and made my wolf emerge from the surface. Then my wolf howled to it. Her spirit soars to the serene voice and it howled back at my wolf.
My instinct kicks in as the voice turns into a howl. It was the howl that will make you fall to your knees and surrender your all unto that voice.
And that's when I realize that the Moon Goddess was the one talking to me.
My Moon Goddess! My creator!
I clutched my heart from the intense feeling swarming in me.
"Be still my dearest wolf" I felt her hands lightly touch my face "You don't have to worry anymore. Open your heart and you will see. The heart tells no lie." Then her hands went down to my chest " Your heart will mend all the heartaches and pain. Just let go and free yourself."
I let out a sob from her words. I don't understand why does she have to say these things to me. Then she embraced me with all the warmness she have and whispered to me one more time.
"Just follow what your heart says and follow what you truly desire."
The bright light shines more brightly. Bursting lights all over me and I shut my eyes as I felt the light explode. Then I heard my heartbeat, beating more lively than ever before and my wolf stirred wildly. I felt she was eagerly happy and it was a strange feeling. When I felt the lights go off, I slowly open my eyes.
And I saw him. His blue wonderful eyes. Those eyes had me lost and forget how to breathe. But his eyes right now felt different. I felt like it was gleaming with unspoken joy, happiness, and contentment. Something in me sparks up. Heat ignites inside me. Tenderly moving and touching all the right places inside me. My wolf gladly embraced that heat until my tears welled up in me as I felt him. I felt his wolf emerge reaching for my wolf.
My eyes went wide when he bent down and kiss me. I am shocked at first as a jolt of electricity spread through my whole body as his mouth touches mine. It made my heart soar high with incredible and undeniable feelings. Making our wolf howl in bliss.
The Moon Goddess's words echoed through my brain "Follow your heart and what you truly desire.."
'Is this what she was saying? Is it this?'
I listened to my heart. It beats more heartily with more harmony. And it beats intimately, specifically to one man.
It beats wildly just for him. And he was kissing me now!
And so, with my heart truly wants and what I have true desire ever since.
I sincerely return his kiss while I gently closed my eyes and let myself drift away from his kiss.
All the pain in me felt like melting away. Waves of pleasure and a heart-warming sensation filled me. A part of me still doubts all the horrible things that happen to me, it still has doubts about all that will happen.
And I was torn into these feelings.
But right now, my mind is in a haze and my heart is on cloud nine!
My body was enjoying this moment that I was held tightly in his arms. Still engrossed in our kiss, my hands went through around his shoulders and our kiss deepened more. I had never felt like this before not even with Malka. But I pushed that thought away not wanting to break this moment.
We were both lost in the kiss until I heard someone clear his throat and that had made me stop. Abruptly, I open my eyes and saw that he did the same and gently he pulled away from me.
Suddenly, I felt heat rise from my cheeks upon what we just did instantly I tear away my eyes from him.
A she-wolf's voice reach my ears and when I heard what she said, my heart literally jump right out of my chest.
'She did not just say that?! Is she out of her mind!'
It was just a kiss! And now she was talking about pups?!
"Not a bad idea though! I think I would love that!" My wolf was delighted with the idea of having a pup!
Quickly I shut her off and throw off that ridiculous idea!
I glance my eyes at where the voice came from. Standing just a few feet away from me was a two wolf that I know I had already seen them.
And then they both look at me and the man beside me before they walk away from us.
And now, it was awkwardly silent.
He was still holding me. Little tingles gently crawled to my skin under the warmth of his hold. And I cannot think straight when he was holding me like this.
I compose myself first and cleared my head before turning to him.
"I think I'm okay now."
I don't know how or what more will I say. I don't know what is the right thing to say or what exact words will I say.
He held me a bit tighter like he don't want to let go of me so I gently pulled away myself from him and he loosen up his hold. Instantly, my body ached from the absence of his warm body against mine. I consciously straighten up beside him. And I felt he's eyes were on me. He was just looking at me intensely.
'I don't know what to do.' I whispered to my wolf.
A different sensation swirled inside me. I felt it move wildly and it makes me want to crawl up to him and wrap my body around him!
I heard him chuckle beside me and I turn my head to look at him.
"Feel free to do it. I'm all yours." Then he wiggles his eyebrows at me.
My eyes widen at what he said! I saw his lips and didn't even move but how can I hear him?
"Now, don't think too much Love. Just, come here and let me hold you."
Why do I feel like he's talking to me inside my head? But in all fairness, the sound of his voice is wonderful to hear.
"And his voice sounds delicious!" My wolf giddily said jumping up and down.
A deep rumbling growl bubbled up from his chest and I don't know why the sound of it made me shiver differently.
"I told you, I'm all yours Love."
He reaches for my face and holds it between his hands.
"And you are mine."
My heart beat frantically at what he said.
'Mine? What do you mean?' I tilt my head at him with a baffled look on my face 'And why am I hearing you inside my head?'
"Did you forget that I am your mate?"
I don't know what happen to my brain right now!
All of a sudden, my eyes widen at the memory of the shewolf that was trying to kill me.
"Actually she killed you. She killed us." Said my wolf. "But our mate here" she purred towards him "Saved us."
My brain is a mess and I was fully confused about what happen.
'I was supposed to be running away from him!'
I tear away my face under his hold and cautiously tried to stand up. But my feeble body was too weak that when I tried to stand, abruptly my legs gave up and I felt my body swayed down.
Hastily, warm hands instantly wrapped my body. And I look up to see him catching me in his warm body.
Sparks spread through me under his touch. I wanted to just snuggle close to him. The feeling of him holding me was heaven!
But I shrugged off the sensation I felt towards him.
'I supposed to not let myself be his mate!' Yelled my brain 'He's the Alpha King!'
I squirm under his hold and my brain was alarmed by the thoughts of him. But he held me tightly and his strong arms were all wrapped up in me.
"I will never let you again escape me."
The way he said it, I want to surrender and just be helplessly captured by him and lock me up under his touch forever.
"You are now mine and I will never let you go."
His voice was so dangerous to hear but it was soothing to me. It made me feel weak, wanted, and hungry for more to hear him say that I was his.
My wolf wanted to break free and give in to our mate. But I cannot let that happen! My brain was pulling me away messing with my heart.
I don't know what I should do. I was torn between my heart and my brain and to my wolf.
"I told you to not think too much and stress yourself."
He kept talking to me in my head!
'How am I supposed to hear you? Why are you talking to me inside my head?'
He chuckled at me and smiled at me. His white perfect teeth showing off.
That smile makes my heart melt and I sure do that every shewolf who appears to see this godly wolf infront of me would crawl under his feet just to see him smile!
And that thought of it made me want to break out and lash out at those who would dare to touch him!
"Easy there, Love. I'm all yours and only yours."
He tug my body closer to him and his head bent down to my neck and I felt him inhale deeply, inhaling my scent. Then he pressed his lips to my neck making me feel go all weak. A moan escaped from me as he lick my skin and buried his face on my neck. My body was instantly on fire because of what he did.
A low growl emerge from him and with that, my body started to feel more heat. I swallowed hard as his head kept buried in my neck and I was confused about the way my body reacted to him. Once more he kiss my neck and then nipped at my skin and I felt his canines scrape my skin but it didn't hurt me instead it makes me feel for him to do more. Touch me more.
I wanted more.
Why? Why do I feel like this?
"Just give in, Camryn! He's our mate! We belong to him!" Purred my wolf. I felt her body swayed and she purred more towards our mate.
"Listen to your wolf, Love. Don't fight it." He said while he was still busy doing undescribable things to me.
Why? Why do I even need to do that?
I heard him sigh and pulled away from my neck and look at me.
"Because you are my mate. You are mine. Simple as that."
Then his hands slowly went to my neck and gently touch it.
"And I have marked you. You now have my mark. And that means you are now truly mine" he bent down again and lick the mark he was saying "You are now mine for eternity."
