Chapter 3: The world's reaction.
Although the emperor had ordered the news of Ximen Yu raping Long Ling'er, to be hidden from the public, it nevertheless leaked out and was spread to whole of Tenglong city. Furthermore this news stimulated the wrath of many different kinds of people, many commoners had already jointly made a petition demanding severe punishment.
Emperor Long Zhan had declared that the punishment for his crimes was the death sentence. Many people had already predicted the end of the Ximen Yu, as raping a princess was big enough crime to justify the extermination of an entire family. But the Ximen clan was largest clan in the entire Empire and its influence was also not that easy to root out. Even if Long Zhan can't move against this clan, nevertheless there was no chance for Ximen Yu to successfully escape from his fate.

"Lord, I beseech you, please save Yu'er, he is our only son!" With tears flowing out of her eyes, Dong Fangwan was begging Ximen Nu.
"Save him, why should I save the idiot? If not for your consistent pampering, why would our unfilial son fall into this wretched situation in the first place? Whats even worse he almost implicated our entire clan." Ximen Nu shook off the hands of Dong Fangwan and roared. A tiger, though cruel, will not devour its cub, even though Ximen Yu was bad, but he was still his son, so he also never wished to see his son beheaded before his own eyes.
"It's all my fault, it's all my fault, I shouldn't have pampered him. Lord please save him, he is not even 18 years old." Dong Fangwan wept, and now she was really regretting her actions. If she had known earlier that it would have turned out this way she would not have intervened when his father was strict towards him. All this had happened because she loved her son too much.

Time slowly passed in the cell but the limp and numb sensation on Arthur's body completely disappeared.
"How can it be like this?" Arthur exaggeratedly slapped his face, and with his both hands he casually touched the metal wall, and unexpectedly discovered that the electric current had already disappeared.

Intrigued, Arthur raised his palm and a thumb sized lightning was released from his palm and it left behind a shallow mark at the metal wall. Seeing his success Arthur smiled, he then tried to release lightning from both of his palms however this time nothing came out. Puzzled Arthur asked the system to help him understand the Lightning.
* You need to think deeply about how to release the resonance within your body. You need to calm down and slowly recall the electric current within your body for a long period of time. now all you have to do is to obtain that life-force.*
Arthur did as the system instructed and suddenly he felt limp and numb all over his body. Arthur then sensed the existence of electric partials. He then immediately waved his hand and a thick arc of lightning was released at the wall heavily denting it.
Arthur began to laugh heavily, he screamed "I have power over lightning, this feels amazing, I now understand why my sister devoted her young life to the study of magic."
Arthur calmed down and said to the system" Lets begin a plan to escape this prison once and for all..."
