Chapter 93: The Revelation(6)
Both the twins were stunned at Sophie's voice. Lila was the first to recover from it. Lila looked at Lily and narrowed her eyes saying, "So, you wanted to scheme against me? Again? Why? From the childhood, you were the one who had more attention than me. But you never spared me. You schemed against me. You made my own parents kick me out of my house. Why? Why did you do all of these? Tell me, Twin sis. Same blood flows through our veins. Why did you not spare me? Tell me. I want to know. Tell me." Lila's voice cracked at the end. She could not hold the bottled emotions inside her anymore. She vented out her years of grievance.
"So what if it was me who schemed against you? So what if I snatched your things. They should belong to me and not you. We share the same face. We share every feature, but why did everyone have to look at you? Why did everyone have to admire you? Why did I not get the attention I deserve to get?" Lily spoke in one breath as she too, vented out her pent-up frustrations.
"So what if you were kind? You were still framed by me." Lily paused and cackled madly. Laughing in between her words she said, "So what can you do to me, huh? You could do nothing when they threw you out of their house. I just said a few words and they threw you out of their house. Tsk tsk. Just imagine what would have happened if I had said some more words. Ha ha ha ha." Lily shook her head and smiled provocatively at Lila. She knew that Lila's defense was breaking under her torture. She knew the best way to break Lila was mental torture. She did that numerous times in her childhood and she tried to do the same now. Sophie understood Lily's intention, but did nothing to stop her. Lila was personally trained by her, and she was clearly a fighter. She knew very well that Lily tried these tricks before, and she had trained Lila in such a manner that people won't be able to break her in the same way. Thinking about this, Sophie's lips curved upwards into a mocking smile. Robert happened to notice that smile, and it gave him chills.
In the chamber, while Lily was rambling on and on about how she schemed against Lila, the latter got up and slapped the former hard on her cheeks. Lily was so shocked that she forgot about rambling anymore. She looked at Lila and nervously asked, "What… What are you tr… trying to… to do?" A mocking smile hung on Lila's lips as she answered, "Did you seriously think, that after all these years, you would use the same trick again, and I would fall for it? Tsk tsk… Twin sis. This time your calculation is wrong." Lila sat down onto the chair again. Lily was clutching her right cheek in one hand as she sat at Lila's feet by the chair.
Lila said, "Stop your nonsense now, and tell me Sis. Why did you go to the Atkins family? This time, no rubbish. Trust me I'm not in the mood to listen to your rubbish anymore. I want the absolute truth. I know that you know very well what you went to find in the Atkins family. And I want to hear why would you try to break into Sophie's mansion. Who gave you such courage, huh?" Lila laughed, and her laughter brought chills to the person listening to it.
