Chapter 2: Chapter one: Butter

I found Butter at the pound when she was only 3 months old. How it all became? Well, let me tell you. "Mom I'm going out." I yell to my mom since she's all the way in the kitchen. "To where?" I hesitate to answer but I see do. "The pound" I say "I'm getting a dog." She tells me  to be safe but, I just walk out the door. The pound wasn't far from my home. I go over there everyday just to see the puppies but today I was actually getting one. Larry, the guy that works there let's me see them whenever I want. He's kinda cute. He's only a year older than me. "Hey Larry." I say walking into the pound " h-hey coming to see the puppies again?" He says why is he such a dork? "No I'm actually getting one today" as I  look around, and one husky pup I my eye. She's black but has a hint of gold and has one green eye while the other is blue. "Hi cutie!" I say all cute and sweet. "D-don't pick that one?" Larry says and I turn around to face him "why not?" I say agressive not really meaning to. "I don't know. The old lady that brought her said she was... I'll." I look back at the dog and whisper, "aren't we all." I pick up the puppy and she licks my face. "I'll take her." I say laughing a little. Larry gives me this odd look then walks over to the counter. I try to give him $30, Which  is the normal payment, but Larry pushes my hand
