Chapter 1: Rain
She was sitting in a car and watching every drop of water that was poured down by sad clouds. Sad, was a word suits her feeling. God must known her feeling well, He fit the situation by presenting a gift which made her more engrossed with her feeling. Thanks God. It's rain! She could conceal the trace of her tears by running under the rain. That was a good choice she thought at first but how could she run when she stuck in this car which were going to send her home. There was no other way rather than covering her face with mask and her glasses from her mom which were going to come.
Some minutes later, a woman in a middle of fifty came out from the shop and knocked on the window. Gasp. A woman in her late twenty unlocked the door soon as she realized who was out of the car and let the woman hopped in. "Took you so long to open the door? Why don't you just left it unlocked?" asked a mother of the young the girl. "As usual, I just prevent the crook hopped in. I was fall asleep. Am I wrong?" she made some excuses for defending herself. This woman was good at making some excuses. In fact, she was not fall asleep, she was zoned out. Thanks to the black window. "Why your voice sounds weird? Crying?" her mother asked while arranging some groceries to the trunk. "I think I'm going to catch a cold, influenza. I turned on the AC then rain came. Look at me, I am going to have a fever. How hot my temperature is!" She answered her mom in an exaggerating way. Her mother responded her daughter by rolling her eyes and starting the car.

"Trying to find a way back home to you again" Tears were rolling down as she heard the song from Honne which played in her mother radio's car. She just wished she could do what the lyrics told. Unfortunately, she could not do that, she did not have the right to back home because the home never belonged to her. She loved someone who did not love her. She wished she could reconcile with him. She smiled at her own thought, reconcile. How could she do a reconciliation of her marriage while the marriage itself was annulled. It never admitted by him and officially by the law. An annulment of a marriage, it meant that the marriage was not admitted to be happen. She cried silently while trying to not broke into a hysterical scream. Her heart hurt everytime she was reminiscing him. The pain was too unbearable, she still hold her voice but her hiccup could not bear to be controlled. She broke into tears but still hold her scream because she was afraid that her mom would wake up. She could not deal with it and decided to stop the car in a rest area of this highway so she started to drive faster to the destination. She hit the gas pedal to the highest speed while crying and suddenly her vision started to get blurry due to her cry. She could not see clearly what was before her car. Accidentally the car collided with a truck, it hit the back of the truck.
The memory of him was spinning down in her head and it started from the very beginning of her first meeting with him.
