Chapter 22: Episode 20: Hannibal (2)
Mereum...
Originally, a village of Luginas or rather---Gin Galmung. The village of Hero descendant who at the some point in time, annihilated by the likes of the group calling themselves Hannibal.
The Galmung descendants leave here for less than a thousands of years but just like that, in a fateful day. They were massacred horribly but who would have thought after a few hundreds of years there's this 'Galmung' who becomes an adventurer and later become the only triple S-class adventurer? Although he's the only one alive who receive such popularity, fame and status, his name---Gin, was overshadowed by his own initial...Galmung whom everyone thought to be extinct...The Hero's initial...whose the descendant of the Otherworlder.
But because he's nothing but a drop of blood of the said hero, he always denying that fact. Hence not only he hated summoned heroes, he almost destroy the Kingdom because of a beef with one of them just for a few dibs of beer.
Thanks to it why majority of the people hated him and the same moment hide his identity and live solitary...
So with only a total of 40 years being an adventurer, Gin Galmung silently retired and cannot be seen anymore.
Another 10 years passed by in a blink of an eye...Gin become the guild master with the moniker---Luginas...thus, the current situation occured.
It also happens that in Mereum, Luginas destroyed the main head of Hannibal. "The Lurker", but who would have thought this same place is also the beginning of the end he thought he finished hundreds of years ago.
"So that's him?" One man crouching atop of the roof, three streets away from Luginas, looked at him walking who at the same time crushed their member with just one snap of his finger. He sneer but didn't try his luck to get near this unfathomable enemy.
"What to do boss?"
"Heheh, isn't that obvious? Our priority is to destroy the balance...him being here means that place is vulnerable, proceed as plan of course!" So he ordered as the member near him, simultaneously leave.
"To think that he's one of the master who told us to be wary of...although his aura seemed normal, I have to and always trust master" One clean wound could be seen from his left cheek as he holds it after. "That Meister alone is scary, after all" after then did he leave.
Momentarily...
"Hmmm, I thought they gonna attack me...oh well" As if he knew someone is watching, Luginas looked where the man was after it leave.
"Are you really sure??"
"It seems like I don't need it...for now"
As Grunt questioned, Luginas forget the idea for now. "I'll help you defend that burden called citizen, then"
Hearing his remarks, Grunt sweated, biting her lower lips 'Burden!' as she muttered.
She knew when Luginas was pissed or irritated so she didn't ask any more question...but even though he's that kind of a mean person, he still cares. Or so what Grunt believes until now.
CLANG--!
But even with Luginas' arrival, the situation didn't turned the table. But at least for now they can counterattack, rather, the finally Meister starts to retaliate.
At the same time, inside the Tower of Cacophony.....
BOOM---! BOOM---! BOOM---!
Studying in different places in schools, Luginas students heard the reverberating echo of the explosion. Thanks for the school who happens to be in the underground. The artificial sky started to crack!
What the!
The students who lend their eye outside the school have this same thought.
As the cracks could be seen in the sky, people with grey colored poncho, one by one emerged from anywhere out of that cracks. After the land of the first person, it immediately grab one of the student and slit it throat. Whilst made the students who seen it; run out of their wits, scream and even frozen in silent and terror!
"Kyahahahahahah"
The voice echoes from the man who arrived at the top, to the very center of the school as it laugh wickedly, "Dear students and teachers. We, are the organization called the Hannibal. I'll give you all a task...10 minutes, after then that you haven't give what we ask, we'll massacre you here! All of you without exception!" he sneer...
Teacher and even Herlinn who heard it, frowned after. The voice then start sending his so called 'task'. "The prince of Urvanav Kingdom, and the princess of this Kingdom, Olimpini. Give them to me alive! I'll wait at the central plaza of your school, so make sure to get those two mentioned! Hahahaha!!!" As if he's enjoying the party and its spectacle. The man laughter echoes.
It was only a teacher and the classmates of this two mentioned who knew their identity, so other students didn't know or even knew this two person was. Of course its anothers story if a noble from the same kingdom is in another class...especially the noble who didn't become the student of the 'elite' class. So this traitors is easy to bait.

What to do!?
The students of Luginas thought in unison after hearing the man's 'task'. They are fully aware of Rumi and Kingsley's identity but they, as the students of Luginas and an 'elite' have their own pride not to sell their brothers and sisters, right?
'Teacher!' Elle thought so. She don't know where is Luginas in the first place and the substitute calling herself Ordeal Mana become their teacher for the meantime. So all of her classmates and even she, is kind of disheartened hearing that Luginas is absent since yesterday.
It also happens that she's a bread shuttle of Rumi so she's not besides her this time!
'Look at the timing' so Rumi thought at the same time. She is about to lose hope when one of her classmate who happens to be with her this time, looked at her as it nodded, "We'll get this through!" So she said.
Did she have the same thought as me? Is what on Rumi's mind.
Although she is currently terrified, she isn't scared at all. Not one bit.
Is this confidence?
She doesn't know.
Is this also what her classmates thought at this moment?
She don't have an idea at all...
After then, the two exited in their room and run somewhere.
...While the Hannibals are waiting for the students to do their dibs, the elite class started to gather in one area...
