Chapter 3: The Old Me Came Back
Chapter 3
Another day came, the rain is still continuing to pour down but it's not as strong as yesterday. Adrian woke up later than he does. He went to the kitchen and drank a morning coffee and brushed his teeth. He is not as lively as he usually does, but he's still hiding his suffering from others by cracking jokes like usual. Seeing Lyan, he began to get ready to go outside to lessen his suffering. He's planning to go to the riverside and enjoy the feeling of nature and to be at peace.

Adrian reached the riverside and noticed that he's not the only one there. He saw the person sitting on a log, he is his roommate.
Lourence is just chilling there, reading a book while drinking something. This time he's not wearing an earphone, because he wants to see the beauty and hear the voices of nature. Adrian then approached him.

Lourence is busy reading his book(novel), when suddenly someone patted his left shoulder.
He expressionlessly turned his head, to see who the person is. After seeing it is Adrian, he turned back his head without saying anything. Adrian then sat beside him, and asked him with a gentle smile, "Such a fun field trip right?", trying to cover up his suffering.
Lourence looked at him expressionlessly and didn't bother talking.
After seeing Lourence didn't bother with his question, he turned quiet.

Adrian is getting bored so he tried to grab a rock to throw to the river. But before he could do that, he was interfered.
The color of the sky changed from light gray to golden, like the color of sunset and he hears a song of 'Ed Sheeran' named 'Photograph'. The lyrics of the song 'smacked him so hard' that he became emotional again.

Lourence didn't brought his earphones, so he started playing a song without using earphones. He didn't know that the song that he played would make the other person emotional. He got startled when he saw Adrian in tears.
"My bad, man.", he said apologetically.
"No, it's okay. It makes me quiet sad and happy at the same time.", Adrian said with a slight smile appeared on his face.

Lourence also noticed the change in color of the sky, 'Shoot, now someone knows already about this. I've been planning to hide this from everyone.', he thought to himself.
After thinking for a bit, Lourence got up and turned off his mobile phone. And started to go back to the inn. The color of the sky went back to normal as the music disappeared.
After seeing Lourence leaving, Adrian remained there and thought of the things that happened.
"Maybe I should go back to my old self.", he murmured. He then also went back to the inn.

The whole class is busy cooking barbecue outside, playing and laughing. A group of 4 saw Adrian approaching the door. They approached him, "Adrian, let's play the game that Sem has.", they invited him.
After hearing them invited him, Adrian only stared at them expressionlessly for 5 seconds and completely ignored them.
Seeing Adrian ignored them, the group became speechless. The 'comedian' of their class ignored them, this is their first time seeing that expression in Adrian's face.
On the other group, Lyan stared at Adrian leaving, also surprised. For many years since they first met, she never saw Adrian ignore people. He is very known in their school to be very friendly and funny. She started to regret the things that she did.

After reaching the door of their assigned room, Adrian paused for a bit, he started to think what to say to Lourence, so that they can talk normally. His real attitude is like Lourence's has, nobody else in their class has that attitude other than Lourence. He then opened the door and entered.

Inside the room, Lourence is busy reading his book (as usual) while eating barbecue (before he went in, he took some barbecue).
The door opened.
As his roommate entered, he is still expressionless, continuing to eat his barbecue.
"It's tiring to spend time with idiot people right?", Adrian asked 'out of the blue'.
"Mm..", his only reply.
"We're so alike, but there's one thing that's different, I'm an idiot.", Adrian started to talked to him.
"Good for you.", he replied.
"Hahaha, yeah, good for me. I can finally take of this face mask and show the people what I really am.", Adrian started to talk naturally.
They started to have a real conversation.

"Before I met her, I just got transferred to their school because I got kicked out from previous school for being into fights (It means he's a delinquent).We're in the same class after I got transferred, I sat at the last bench of the class. The first time I saw her, I became very interested in her. One day, I overheard their conversation with our other female classmates. She said, 'I want my first boyfriend to be funny and loving.' After that I started to change myself and avoided fights. One day, the seats got rearranged we both got seated next to each other. She's the one who asked me first, after then we became close to each other. Bla, bla, bla.."

Lourence sitting, became slightly agitated, he thought inside his head, 'The fudge man, I don't care about your history. I just wanna enjoy my free time, Well, I'm a bit sad about it but still, you shouldn't say it all. Now I wasted my precious time.
He then replied, "Well you really are an idiot, but I think it's time to move on. Time to go back to your old self, maybe you can be my body guard soon. Who knows how badass you are when you're a delinquent. Just joking", Lourence said with a bit of mockery.
"Hahahahaha, I didn't know until now that you had some sense of humor, you completely surprised me man. Oh yeah, this is the first time I heard you talked so long, I'm quite honored about it, to be able to make you talk.", Adrian replied while bursting in laughter.
After they finished their conversation, they came back to their usual self (Adrian came back to his 'delinquent' self).

Dusk came, and they started to get ready to go home. The field trip is only 2 days. The others already entered the bus while the others is still packing their things, one of them is Adrian and Lourence.

While they were packing their things, Adrian started to talk,
"Still man, I can't believe she didn't tell me—", but before he could finish he was interfered by Lourence, "Can you stop talking for a whole minute man, I'm packing my things here, if we don't rush, we're gonna left behind.
"Hahaha, sorry, sorry.", Adrian laughed for a moment, and became quiet. Then they continued what they were doing.

They sat at back of the bus, the others looked at Adrian, completely surprised of what happened earlier. And what's more, he is sitting beside Lourence of all people. Adrian then looked at them with a gloomy face, they became scared and looked away.
'Bunch of idiots.', he thought inside his head.
The bus' engine then started.
******
On the way home, Lourence peeked outside the window to see the beautiful scenery from outside. He started playing the song 'Best Part'.
******
After he came home he immediately went inside his room and turned on his computer to watch anime.
"I wasted my 2 days doing nothing there", he complained.
He then turned on his computer to watch anime. There, he's daily life continued.
