Chapter 3: An Unforgettable Nightmare
"Ah what a great first day at the academy."
Boy I sure was exausted but at the same time, I felt happy that Sayko gave me her number.
I thought the teacher will not gave us students homework as it was my first day at the academy. I was wrong but since I like studying it was no problem for me, as long the homework was a piece of cake, everything will be fine.
I started doing my homework straight and everything went well despite being that tired.
After I finished my homework, I rush down the stairs to eat my dinner as I was so hungry.
After I finished my dinner, I went in my room and lay down on my bed to relax. I grab my phone and start searching for new anime releases.
Suddenly I sense a strange feeling and my head started to pain. I couldn't tell what was happening. I was so confused and lost.
Everything went black for a moment and I was scared. I open my eyes and I found myself in a place that looks quite familiar.
I had no idea what was happening. The last thing I remember, I was laying on my bed and using my phone. After a brief second, I realised that I was in the academy.
I was in a classroom and there was nobody apart from me.
I walk towards the window of the classroom and realised it was midnight. I could already tell because the moon was high up.
I walked outside the the classroom and went to the main hall. It was so dark and creepy.
I tried to switch on the lights in the main hall but it seems there were no electricity.
I shouted for help, but there was no response at all. I panicked started to have anxiety.
I know that I have to keep going on and not be scared. I don't even know where is everybody!
I kept exploring the building but still saw no one. I know am not a pervert but i might check the girls and boys toilet.
After passing by several classes, I saw the toilets and decided to go take a look.
Of course I won't just went in there without telling if there was someone here.
So I shouted if anyone was there in both toilets stall, but still no answer. I was so dissapointed that I wanted to slap myself.
Since there was no one I decided to leave academy. The academy was kinda big so it took me some time to arrive at the front entrance. After several minutes of walking, I finally arrived.
For some reason, the door won't open. Did they forget about me? Was I sleeping?
Like all horror movies, the main door won't open. Wow wonderful! Now am stuck in this creepy building alone. I have to find a way to get out of here until this morning or I might get in trouble!
I still kept exploring if was any sort of backup key for the main entrance of the academy.
I have no choice. I have to get out of here as soon as possible.
I was walking, trembling at the same time looking everywhere for something thing.
Unexpectedly, I hear someone cry fo help upstairs. I rush my way up and went to a classroom where I found a girl crying.
I was shocked there was someone else there.
I try to approach the girl quietly trying not to scare her.
"Hey are you ok? Don't worry I won't hurt you!
im stuck here."
The girl slowly turns her face to me and at that moment, I could not believe my own eyes.
I was so delighted with joy. Finally a familiar face.
"Soyuki? What the heck are you doing here? You didn't went home?"
"Ku-Kura? Why are you here?"
"Im the one who is asking you this question. I think I fell asleep and everybody forgot I was still in the academy. What about you?
I could tell that Soyuki was scared and was talking to me with fear and as always with shyness.
"I-I did the same thing as you Kura. I was tired and I fell asleep on my desk."
"its ok Soyuki let's just get out of here ok?"
"y-yes" -Soyuki
"Stay behind me ok? I don't want anything to happen to you."
Soyuki followed me, while I was searching for something useful to get out of here.
We went to the cookery section to find if there would be something useful there.
"Ku-Kura I found a knife."-Soyuki
"Great! Take it with you. It might be useful later."
Sixty minutes has passed and we still didn't found anything apart a knife.
"Ku-Kura I think we might need to split up. We will have more chance finding something if want to get out of here."
"Alright just be careful Soyuki. Meet me at the main entrance when you find something useful ok?"
"y-yes ok"
Soyuki was so scared. Maybe it was a bad idea for us to split up. Well she will be fine anyway.
I was so tired of walking so I decided to take a seat and relax. I sat down for about two minutes and then got up to continue my search.
I try to regain my courage and continue searching. I hope Soyuki found something useful and I also hope she is fine.
I give up! I can't found anything in this stupid building. I was about to cry, but did not. I was so lost! Not knowing what to do I went to find Soyuki if she Is doing alright'
Since there was no one, I shouted so that she could hear me out.
There was no reply. It was strange that she wasn't hearing me. I shouted out five times! but still, no reply from Soyuki.
Well I had no choice I have to go the main entrance to found her.
When I arrived, I found Soyuki holding the knife that she found.
"So-Soyuki did you find something useful? Why are you holding that knife in your hand?"
Soyuki just stared at me, like she had no emotions in her.
"Kura im sorry."
"what? why? why are you apologizing?
Without even thinking a second, Soyuki stabs herself with the knife that she was holding.
She stabs herself with the knife over 10 times in the stomach and on her chest.
Blood spills out everywhere on the floor and on the wall. She fell on the floor, her eyes looking at me like a lifeless statue.
I was traumatized by this. I couldn't even move a muscle. My only word was "So-Soyuki?"
I was about to throw up, when I looked at this gruesome scene.
When I finally snap out of it, I rush to Soyuki.
"Why did you do that Soyuki? You had no reason to do that!!!
I started crying uncontrollably, grabbing her body. Suddenly I felt something touch my back when I grabbed her. I turn my back slowly and found out a dark black figure with long claws staring at me. At that instant moment I scream loudly.
I woke up finding my mom looking at me angrily. "Why are you screaming like a madman?"
"Im sorry mom. I think I had a nightmare."
"Well you better get up or you might turn up late for classes."
"ok mom"
"Was that really just a nightmare? I said to myself.
I found my phone lying on my bed with no battery left. I think I fell asleep using my phone when I was lying on my bed yesterday. Well whatever. That was the most horrifying nightmare I ever had im my life.
The strangest thing about this is, I dream about Soyuki stabbing herself.
If I tell her about this I don't know how she would react. I better not say anything to her.
I won't even tell Mizuku about this. She will think that am a creep for dreaming about Soyuki. Well I better hurry off to the academy and wait Mizuku on the road.
