Chapter 2: Ch 2
Adam didn't even look at the picture. He was sitting indifferently on his chair thinking. Kate came to his office, and left. If she had even a little bit of shame , she should have never come to him for the rest of her life. He felt that his brain is about to explode. The sense of humiliation in which he had been living for past four years had increased manifold.
"I am not feeling well today so please Cancel all the appointments for today, I wouldn't take any calls either." He instructed his Secretary.
"But sir u have an important meeting at Three o'clock and Lunch with Mr. James." said Secretary.
"I have already said cancel all the appointments it includes meetings and Lunch " he said in a harsh tone, and put down the receiver.
Adam held his head with both hands and was feeling very angry and humiliated. He didn't even understand his own emotions. She came in front of him with fearlessness and pride and went away with it. and he kept watching.
If a man's wife cheats him, it hurts his pride and ego but if a wife who he trusts blindly do this he breaks down.
Just like this Adam break down five-year ago. On the surface he was normal, but he forgot to smile. After being cheated he lost trust in every on. Now he can't bring himself to love anyone.
Adam never tried to find. He was a powerful man if he wants to find her, he can easily do this but due to deep sorrow he never tried.
But now she was sitting in front of him without any fear. Adam was controlling his anger. He wanted to kill her, but he can't maybe he was afraid of world or because he once loved her. He had done so much for her, but she does not have little bit of sorrow.

Adam never imagined that his marriage will happen in such a hurry. He was never in relationships before. He doesn't even know Kate before marriage. Adam only met her few times before marriage. She was the daughter of his father's cousin. All of a sudden she became his wife.
This marriage was not a forced marriage. Adam married willingly. His father never forced him. If forced him he would have denied. But he asked with helplessness and tears in his eyes.
His father's cousin was struggling with chronic illness, and her husband had died. She only had a daughter.
Kate's mother knows that she doesn't have enough time, so, she asked his father for this marriage. His father required with tears in his eyes. He couldn't deny his father's request , furthermore he had a favorable impression of her.
They had a great marriage but nobody was excited. Only a few hours later Kate's mother died.
