„So let the training begin" Alleana my mother said.
As my current job was Mage I had magic battles with her or monsters during trips into the forest. And I began experimenting with Combinationmagic so to incooperate multiple attributes and so I started [Firestorm] a Fire-Wind magic combination ripping an Rank 3 Monster into burned pieces. As I watched my work other monsters appeared. [Freeze] with the Waterspell I slightly froze them on the spot before I killed them with my earth magic [Earthspears]. As I pierced them with my spears I could hear other monsters flee but I didn´t mind them.
„Nice Val you are getting better every day" my mother said so and indeed my level went from 12 to 21 with 5 kills.
„Now what do we do?" she said to herself after all no monster in closer distance came near me anymore as I could oneshot them all if I went all-out but right now I tried to maximice my magic with minimal mana use and it was quite difficult to do so but as their was a skill for it I knew it is possible and so I did my all to aquire it.
„How about cutting iron logs this time?" I said to her and she didn´t minded it so we went back to the village. As our village was quite close to a devil´s nest we trained the children from the age of 8 I was an ecxeption as I requested so and my mother trained me and as many children saw me training they also started earlier than normal. Through their is a person that trained with me from the very beginning
„Val look I can cut through the Logs as well now" Neria said quite proud to me and yeah it went this clicheique way through I tried to distance myself from her but she wouldn´t let me do so.
„Nice and did you level up?" I asked her back and she looked even prouder
„Yes I am now level 2 with my Wind magic" I was a little bit surprised to hear that as she usually used Life or light magic and was actually better at that than me.
„I´m quite surprise you trained with wind magic" I said my thoughts to her and she smiled at that remark
„Hehe I you will fight on the front while I cover your back" she said with a full smile and I could fell stares that could kill a dragon on me from my surroundings.
„Thank you if this is the case then give your best so I won´t get out of your reach" I said to see her reaction on the remark that I would move onward without minding her but to my surprise she wasn´t taken aback
„Of course I will keep up with you after all…" the last part became unhearable to us all only my mother seemed to have heard it as she needed to hold herself from laughing out loud and said
„If this keeps going on I need to train you personally" the next part she whispered into Nerias ear and if we would be in a manga steam would shurly come out of her head. As it seemed to me that this could go for eternity I went to the training ground to train my magic and this time I took an Iron block as targetpractice. I used the spell [Wind Blade] and created as thin as possible and shoot it with a result no one expected I cut through it with a clear hit
„Huh want just happened" I said and everyone on the training ground was silent
„You did an incredible deed Val" my mother said with a look as if she her self couldn´t believe what she just saw and I didn´t understood how my magic got so high without my skills leveling up that was quite outragous.
„Well anyways good job with your talent you will surpass me in no time" my mother said and the stuff about surpassing her won´t be that easy after all she is a rank 8 monster that had gone through multiple jobs so I will have a long way
„Can we start our mock battle now I want to try that spell with a new modification" I said and both my mother and me got into fighting stance I drew a training sword as did my mother and so we started our battle.
While constructing two spell I charged at mother [Single Slash] I used the most basic sword skill which she easily evaded but I expected that and unleashed the spell as combination [Flame Blade] I combined [Air Blade] and [Flame] to increase the power but my [Air Blade] was weaker then before. Even through the combo was quite strong it didn´t even reached my mother what shocked me for a moment as I shooted at close distance and yet she blocked it with a single sword strike I entered close combat using all agility I could muster to swarm her while utulizing my sword technique and unarmed fighting technique to it´s fullest but it wasn´t enough and I clearly lost after 10 minutes but this was the way it always went with a exception today my mother moved changed stance and counter attacked
„You get better Val I can´t say it often enough keep for it and you will clearly surpass me you have the talent for it" she said with a smile as she helped me up then Neria came to cheer me up but well I didn´t really listen as I heard after my announcments
[The levels of the swordsmanship, fire-attribute magic, wind-attribute magic, unarmed fighting technique, mana control and multi-thought skills have increased!]

As I had a satisfied look on my face Neria said to me with a threatening voice „Val, it isn´t nice to ignore a girls words only to hear for annoncements you understand?"
I was clearly shooked did she just went tsundere or did she only lecured me I couldn´t really tell as she sounded completly normal to me with exeption of the tone.
„I´m truly sorry Neria I only couldn´t wait to hear if my training paid of I beg for forgiveness"
I hoped to pacify her but
„I will forgive you if you let me train with you in the future got it" she said with smile I didn´t ever wanted to see in real an Ice cold smile to threat a man.
„I understand you win" I gave up so please stop look at me like that it freaks me out. Her face softened and from this day on we trained together through I hear my mother say something on that day after training with a creepy laugh
„So she will most likely be my daughter-in-law so I will train her very well"
,Oh Neria what have you brought upon yourself?' I questioned myself.
