Chapter 2: Chapter 2: Exiled
The next Monday, people at school gave me weird glances. I bet they heard the news that I nearly killed my boyfriend. I'm wondering why I didn't kill him. Maybe some angel is guiding me that night. I also know that they didn't call 911 because if they did, a police should have come to our house to arrest or question me. Ohh..that would be very messy and scandalous. Although the news had reach to almost all the students, no one dared ask me about it.
I later overheard that Siegfred went directly to the hospital and that he's having an implant because he lost his two of his front teeth. I have been very merciful that night. Siegfred returned to school Tuesday and he immediately approached me on the cafeteria. People are giving us weird glances the moment he stood beside me.
"Jihann, let's talk please." I looked up at him and grimaced at his still swollen face but I didn't feel any remorse. He bloody hell deserve it. He deserves more.
I stood up and was about to leave when he got hold of my arm. I stop myself from hitting him again even if my hands are itching to do so.
"Look, I'm sorry…" His voice is shaky and almost apologetic but I didn't really believe that he is apologetic. While he is lapping on the girl, was he thinking that he will be sorry for what he had done? I guess not.
"Let me go or you'll lose all your teeth." I give him a warning glance and he knew that I wasn't kidding. He slowly let go of my arm and I left him without a second glance. I know that he knows that we are over that moment.
After a few days I thought everything is okay. Siegfred is not bothering me except for his apologetic stare which didn't even scratch a surface of my emotions and pity. Though I was relieved that the asshole didn't file charges against me. But then, one afternoon, Dad called me and I immediately know what we are going to talk about.
"How's Siegfred?" He started to ask and I groaned inside.
"Fine." I curtly said praying he wouldn't go ask for more but then I also know that my prayers will never be answered.
"Are you still together?" C'mon can he just stop beating around the bush. I know he knows what had happened.
"No. I saw him going down on a girl and I beat him." I also know that it is better for me to admit the truth than to lie. I know my Dad, he's protective of us but he won't tolerate what I've done.
"Jihann…" He said with a warning.
"I know Dad. I should use my skills responsibly but I got so mad at him for making a fool out of me! No one messes up with me!" My voice raises an octave higher which is prohibited when talking to my father.
"Then… you should have talk to him sensibly and then break up with him. Do you really have to beat him up?" That is just so easy to say!
"I cannot talk to him while he's lapping on her. The most sensible thing to do is to beat him up. The fact is, every time I saw him at school I wanted to break his bones. Oh really, breaking his nose and his teeth are the least that I could do. I have been considerate!" I said fuming mad and almost shouting at my father and that did it. He regarded me calmly and took a deep breath.
I realized too lately that I have gone too far and I am scared of what will he say next.
"Alright, young lady. Pack your things. You're going to the Philippines." My Dad calmly said but it looks like he had just released an atomic bomb in front of me.
"What!? Dad…" I stopped myself from complaining because that moment a decision had been made and nothing could change his mind.
The next day, I boarded a flight to a country familiar to me but had never set foot into.
