Chapter 48: Chapter 48 Return to Lumeria

~ A few days later~
Location: Baxter Building
Susan: "I'll be fine Reed ill only be there for 30 minutes an hour tops and besides I have Nightfury there to make sure I'm safe." Everyone was on the roof for our little trip with Johnny and Ben a little worried but both trusted me to watch her back Reed on the other hand.
Reed: "I'm just saying maybe we should wait until the new jet is finished that way if you need help we can get to you." I ignored the lack of concern for my safety and looked through the system for any items or monsters.
"Reed if you're so worried why don't you come with us?" I said impatiently it had already been 5 minutes since I got here and Susan had been ready and waiting. Reed was about to answer my question but Susan cut him off.
Susan: "But he can't because he has a very important meeting with some important people isn't that right Reed?" Reed nodded his head and Johnny made a *whish* sound while acting like he held a whip.
"If that's it and you have everything you need let's go" Sue nodded her head and held my arm and the next second we were in the ancient ruins of Lumeria Sue looked around I had teleported us to where I had destroyed that deviants outpost, what was left of it was abandoned still in ruins but the bodies of those I killed were gone.
Susan: "So where should we start?" I smiled under my mask and switched from [Enderman] to [XLR8] in case we needed a quick getaway.
"First we make our way to your downed jet second you do your thing and find your plants" she noted her head it wasn't a master plan but simple steps. "you wouldn't happen to remember where it is would you?"
Susan: "I couldn't tell you I was knocked out by the backlash of my shield being broken I didn't wake up until we were in the prison" I noted my head.
"Well I guess we just have to retrace your steps" Sue looked at me confused "we follow the convoy that took you to the outposts prison back to where you guys crashed"
Susan "So how are we going to get there?" I stepped in front of her and bent down pointing to my back.
"I'll get us there you just sit back and enjoy the ride" she gave me a look before sighing and getting on my back and wrapping her arms around my neck "Now hold on tight because I haven't really practiced with this one"
Susan: "Wait what do you me-EEEE....?" in a split second I ran through the forest trying to remember my path through the forest as [Gargoyle] but my sense of direction was far less than what it was in that form, but I found my way to the cliff overlooking the deviant outpost. Which was still active from what I could see but that wasn't my mission so I speed past and went the way the convoy had come from. After what felt like 5 minutes but was actually 7 seconds I found the jet or what was left of it as I stopped.
Susan: "-EEEEAAN." her screaming stopped when we came to a halt and I let her down from my back slowly letting her regain her balance "why couldn't.... we have just....flew?" she asked weakly and I helped her from falling over.
"We would have been shot at if I flew and I didn't know where you crashed so I couldn't teleport so..." I explained but left it as that allowing Sue to catch her breath as I scouted the area which only took 2 seconds "looks like the coast is clear were alone" I looked to Sue who had barley opened her bag.
Susan: "Alright then I'll start getting my samples and you make sure I'm not interrupted" I nodded my head and selected [Indominuse Rexs] turning invisible and remaining nearby as Sue continued her work.
After 5 minutes of constant lookout quickly got bored and looked through my system while invisible and k decided id buy some amenities like [thermal vision] confirming my earlier conclusion that we were alone for now.
Susan: "So if you don't mind me asking what are your powers?" a silence fell as I didn't respond for a second thinking about my answer.
'Any cons by telling her my powers. . .' I appeared next to her which made her jump a little in surprise "what do you want to know?"
Susan: "Well how about an answer to my question first off" she regained her composure quickly I mule over the question and how to explain my powers.
"Well my powers are that I can transform and use the ability of different monsters" Sue seemed to find think over my powers before looking up at me and asking me something I expected the other Four to ask
Susan: "Can you show me some?" she asked with a bit of excitement and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"What [Vallstrax] wasn't enough of a demonstration?"
Susan: "Is that what its called Johnny just kept making up childish names like Silver hawk dragon and many others" I laugh at that and Sue chuckles. "so...?"
I node my head "I will first show you the monster that allows me to teleport it's called enderman" I select the transformation into [Enderman] "but as a warning don't look me directly in the eyes" then I transform fully.

Susan: "Oh my. . ." she walks up to me and now I just notice how tall I am I tower over her but I make sure to keep her in my peripheral vision and keep a lookout for any threat.
Susan: "this is incredible you look like nothing I've ever seen before" she circles me and touches me which took a lot not to flinch but I continue to look around for threats, as she began to sketch me quickly "this is wonderful can I see more?"
"Ok" I transform into [XLR8] in but a moment the tall black figure if the enderman changed to the skin blue, black, and white lizard now stood "well what do you think?" I didn't receive a direct answer as Sue was quickly sketching my visage into her notebook.
And for about 30 minutes it went on like this with me showing her a monster then me describing their unique characteristics nd their natural environment if I could much to her pleasure as her small notes soon turned into multiple paragraphs of theories about each monster and how they operate in the wild.
Now I didn't show her all my monsters just the once I could explain without too much hassle until I noticed this had gone on far longer then we realised so brought up that she still had flowers to pick and analyze so she got back to it but this time I helped her and after 10 minutes I gained a new [skill].

I was quite happy to have a skill that upgraded my [Observe] skill but So on the fun came to and end and I can say for certain we both had fun.
