I followed the quinjet much to my reluctance as being a [Red Dragon] means taking commands or requests from humans is really annoying and feels like a waste of my time.
'Especially seeing as I've been following this stupid jet for an hour now and all I've seen is woodland, hills, and more forest,' I thought but a blue screen appearing in front of me immediately improved my mood.

"YIPPEE!" I yelled twirling in the sky as I followed the quinjet looking over my new stuff and more than enough points to upgrade Zilla.
Coulson: "Nightfury we are now approaching our destination," he said through the earpiece interrupting my celebration, looking down I didn't see anything then we passed a barrier and the forest changed from a woodland to a gigantic military base.
'When the hell did S.H.E.I.L.D get this?" I thought the place was gigantic having a giant your in the middle that fired a beam into the sky 'that probably keeps the barrier up' I thought following the quinjet.
As the quinjet landed I watched as others took off and became camouflaged as it left personnel walked around doing their own business when I spotted the agents of S.H.E.I.L.D standing and waiting I waved and walked towards them.
"It's been a while and I see you guys have been busy," I greeted them shaking hands with each of them using [Observation] They've all gotten stronger by 4 to 8 Levels.
Melinda: "So have you the founder of Monarch moving up in the world," she said looking me over and I shrugged it wasn't a secret well as far as I knew didn't know what the public was told about Monarch's founding or history.
Coulson: "Alright you all can chit-chat as you walk we got a meeting to get to Melinda and Fitz, Skye, Grant, and Simmons show our guests to the Arena," he said before walking off with Melinda.
Simmons: "If you would follow us," she gestured and I nodded following along looking at the large S.H.E.I.L.D base.
Skye: "So what do you think," she asked a grin on her face and I shrugged.
"It's impressive I'll give you that," I said passing as we passed by rooms with engineers working in giant workshops and some worker was operating a robot suit lifting and moving giant boxes.
Fitz: "It's more than impressive it's the most advanced research, testing, and training facility on the face of the planet" and I wondered if Wakanda had something to say about that.
Simmons: "We call it Alexandria after the library," she said a lot more chipper than anyone should be about that reference.
"You know the library burned down right?" I said as we continued to walk and talk "So what is this arena you're taking me to" I asked.
Fitz: "The Arena is our most advanced training facility able to copy and simulate any environment on or off the planet it is the only one of its kind on earth," he said proudly and I smiled to myself remembering my training room on night hawk island.
Grant: "Plus it has some really good training bots which I'm sure you'll enjoy," he said and I nodded as we exited the landing area and walked to a building that looked like a football stadium.
As we got closer and entered the stadium the sounds of combat could be heard and once inside we passed many training rooms and shooting ranges then we reached a set of double doors.
Walking through what would have been one big field if it was a regular stadium now was multiple large rooms from where we stood you could look down into and monitor everything inside.
Fitz: "Nightfury I welcome you to The Arena," he said, and looking in I saw multiple areas some were empty but others were active one looked like a jungle and a squad if agents were going through it another was a firefight another tundra.
Skye: "Hey look spidy is going at it in A-1," she said following her gaze on the ceiling where screens showed which areas were being used and by who and the difficulty it was set to.

"What does alpha difficulty mean?" I asked as we walked to area A-1 wondering how difficult it was since Peter was the only one on that difficulty.
Simmons: "There are 5 difficulties from easiest to hardest our Delta, Charlie, Beta, Alpha, and Omega," she said and as we approached I could see why alpha level would be a workout as robots of all kinds chased after spiderman who was being cheered on by agents and heroes
Spiderman jumped and flipped dodging bullets and missiles from robots of various designs and sizes sending them back a missile into their sender as he landed he jumped into the air dodging a multitude of metal snack-like hands reaching for him.
But unlike most the hands just extended after spiderman and before he could web away the arms wrapped around him holding him in the air and allowing him to be bombarded by bullets and missiles.

The screen appears so all could see and people began to clap and cheer as spidy was escorted out of the arena and I couldn't help but notice some money exchanging hands.
"Ok I'm in how do I get down there," I said making the four looks at me and Skye smiled.
POV Steve rogers
"I can see why you chose him as your team leader but he still has a lot to learn himself," I said and I glance to see fury nod slightly still watching the area we stood in a private conservation room that could see all the training areas.
Fury: "I'm more interested in how our new arrival will do," he said looking down I saw the figure of a man in what looked like black leather armor with a silver shield with the symbol of a dragon on it.
"Nightfury right I've heard he has interesting abilities," I said remembering the report and footage Tony gave from the Titan attack in Korea.
Fury: "That's one way of putting it you want to see the list we have so far?" he asked with a tone I didn't recognize but I nodded and a holographic screen appeared in front of me.

Reading the report I raised an eyebrow and looked back at the arena which had already begun to change its environment I looked up at the settings and raised an eyebrow.

POV Nightfury
I watched as the football field-sized arena changed to be a correlated area and I immediately began to walk and then run as I only had a ten-second head start.
Then as I mentally counted down to 3 I transformed fully into [Wraith] and I felt different unlike every other time I transformed I felt complete like I didn't need to keep my monstrous instincts in check or suppressed.
'Tron, what is happening I feel different?' I asked as I continued to stake through the forest waiting for my prey to arrive.
It didn't feel bad but new like having to hold a lid on a pot that threaded to burst open or hold a door closed keeping something locked inside, but now I didn't need to fight anything and I could use my monsters without worrying over my instincts taking control.
[Hmm it would seem you have completely melded with your monsters thanks to the new skill you received]
As I stalked my echolocation picked something up 12 soldiers and I smiled.
I followed the group hidden in the shadow of the trees waiting for a straggler then I saw it for a moment and I jumped out and grabbed the soldier with [abduction], the soldier *Screemed* bloody murder as I grabbed them and disappeared with them into the forest leaving a bioluminescent trail.
The group tried and failed to hit me failing to even land a graze as I dragged the screaming man I found a clearing and dropped the man off pretending to drop him as I floated off hidden and watching.
My blood felt like it was on fire as I watched how they ran towards their injured and panicking comrade sending a decoy to distract them I turned invisible to ambush them.
'If only they were real meat' the thought passed through my mind and I felt myself drool and my stomach growl I'll eat something after I have my fun.
As the 12 surrounded their comrade my decoy did its job as they all began to fire at it and I snuck behind the group as I was 5 feet away my decoy charged at the group and exploded into a bioluminescent mist.
The Robots looked genuinely confused if I didn't know any better I would mistake them for humans but none of them had a heartbeat or body heat.
Firing a [warp blast] what looked like a condensed black ball of energy into the middle of them I blasted them all to the ground onto their backs or face first I *Rored* and the soldier *Screamed* and began cutting up their prone forms.
After 10 seconds the fake forest was silent and the ground was covered with the chopped-up bodies of robots.

The room announced quickly and I felt a change of clothes would be appropriate after some thought I switched from [Wraith] to [Black Light Virus] and changed my [Nightfury armor] to my [Power armor] wearing it for the first time.

"Ok this is new," I said being a hivemind virus was a weird feeling, and having that feeling multiplied by four was even weirder than a green screen with yellow words appearing.

Before I could think about pressing yes or no an orange field appears around me looking down bullets were hitting the shield, following where the bullets are coming from.
I see a small army of soldiers firing on me they even have a few humvees on opposite sides looking at my suits hud the shields are at 96%.
'I guess I should get started testing out this form's abilities,' I thought stretching a little before walking toward the soldiers.
Then time seems to slow to a crawl the bullets seem to freeze in mid-air I move out of the way of them and approach the soldiers and stop and stand right in front of them though their facial feathers are still focused on where I once stood.
Out of curiosity looking back I see my own after images walking from where I was standing treating and walking to where I am now.
'Why am I so fast is it because of the suit or was Alex Mercer always this fast' I thought as I extended my left hand and watched as it transformed into a long blade.

I nod bringing the blade arm down but as I do I notice the suit has enhanced my bladed arm giving the edge of the blade an orange glow.
'Maybe I should retire my [Nightfury armor],' I thought citing through each robot like butter before heading back to where I stood originally.
Time resumed and as quickly as the forest was filled with the sound of gunfire now it was quiet once again.
"So what's next?" I said to observers picking out what monster to use next.
