Chapter 4: Chapter 4 - Family.
Outside the mountain region, Chu Feng silhouette could be seen walking through the crowds. His harvest was already thrown in his private space, and other than an empty bag, he didn't want to attract any troubles. Meeting Su Mei was already enough for him.
As he was heading towards his abode, a delicate hand suddenly caught his shoulder, and with a cheerful tone, she called.
"Chu Feng!"
"Chu Yue, It's been a long time since our last encounter.", said Chu Feng. He was even amazed that she actually recognize him, as he didn't met her at all since he came to this world.
"I almost didn't recognize you, what happened? you grow more graceful!", said Chu Yue with a big smile on her face, as she admired his graceful body.
"I become an inner disciple, maybe that's why.", said Chu Feng with a smile.
"It must be so, here, this is a letter from home", said Chu Yue, as she passed him a letter.
Chu Feng took it from her, as he already knew that it must be from his brother.
The group that came with Chu Yue also watched him with amazement, as he gave an extraordinary aura, no matter how you look at him.
Two people from the Chu clan seems to be bothered by his presence, as they started commenting on his bag.
"Chu Feng, Your bag seems full of Saint Medicines and Spirit beads. How lucky you, we could only scrap some herbs.", said one of the Chu family guys with a disdainful smile on his face.
As Chu Yue was about to reprimand him, Chu Feng was the first one to answer.
"Hahaha, funny, feel better? man you inferiority complex is very intense, and seems to be infectious, isn't it?", as he said that, he gave a glance to the other one that was also smirking.
The both of them turned silly, as they felt a bucket of water dropping on their heads.
"The next time, you open that filthy mouth in front me, I'm gonna rip it , Gotcha?", said Chu Feng as his aura pressed on the both guys. with a whim, they will be exploded.
Feeling the threatening aura, they only saw darkness.
"I'm gonna die!!", that was their only thought, as the deter-ing pressure seems about to take their lives.
The others watched in fright and astonishment, as they could somehow feel the duo shaking in fear due to his formless pressure.
Seeing them tearing, he lifted his aura on them, but no one of them dare to talk again. He wanted to tame those Chu trashes so that he won't have to be pestered by them again.
Nearby, the other Chu youngsters Chu Zhen, Chu Cheng and Chu Wei were also sweating buckets, as Chu Feng already detected their presence, and crashed them too.
He could even see Chu Zhen pissing his pants in fright.
Chu Yue watched in shock, as her little brother seems to grow fiercer than she remembered.
Chu Feng put his hands in the bag, and after rummaging a little, he took a dozen of saint spirit grass, plus four spirit beads, sending everyone around him in daze and shock.
Those spirit beads were saved by him when he was upgrading his spirit realm level. As they lost their values, he thought of using them as gifts.
Passing her those treasures, Chu Feng didn't even blink.
"Chu Yue sister, you can use this to breakthrough to the 5th level. The annual family gathering is near, you need to upgrade your power level. You can also share it with Chu Xue, or any one you deem worthy.", said Chu Feng, as he left the place, leaving everyone eyes protruding in shock and denial.
Soon, Chu Xue came, and told them what happen with a crying face. After hearing this, every one of them knew that they clearly fucked up.
Even the outsiders look towards them in contempt. To think that such a genius was bullied by those clan of idiots. If not for Chu Yue, they would have already left this 'shitty' alliance already.
Chu Feng already returned back to his small courtyard, as he sit cross-legged on the ground to read the contents of the letter.
Truthfully speaking, he didn't really want to go back, but he should at least support his adoptive father to take control of the clan.
Chu Clan.
It was about 10 days since the aggressive bullying that he gave to his so-called cousins. As always, He still didn't came in contact with eggy, as he wanted to first finalize his family problems and then focus at growing stronger.
He had a feeling that breaking through Origin Realm will be the moment the first treasury level will be open.
He returned back alone to the clan, as he didn't want to share the same trip with those cousins. He was really disgusted by them. They actually came to visit him, and wanted to rope him in their half-arsed alliance by apologizing while smiling?
Maybe the other Chu Feng would let bygones be bygones, but not him. For him, they were a bunch of hypocrites that tried to gain his favor the moment they saw his bright light. After all, they should have just let him alone when he was weak, but no, they had to bully him, which shows how twisted those people are.
Forgive them and become friends? Who are you tricking? He saw shameless people back in earth, and he was one too, but he had never drop this low.
Chu Feng strolled casually in his inner robe. He could see admiration for both his 'face' and 'talent'. Of course, there are always people that would try to talk about his origins, but while they were annoying, Chu Feng didn't really care.
A bunch of pests, they can't even cultivate and had the guts to call other useless and trash. Giving them a severe look, they run away like scaredy cats.
Sighing, he was soon in front of his father residence, as he knocked.
"Who is there?!", an authoritative sound echoed, a familiar yet unfamiliar for Chu Feng.
"It's me, Chu Feng.", said Chu Feng awkwardly, as he didn't knew how to react meeting his 'adoptive father'. While he gained memories, feelings and even some of the principles of Chu Feng, he was still having hard time adapting to this kind of culture.
For him these 'father and clan' stuffs felt very foreign and strange. It's only because original Chu Feng was having a great affection and attachment, that he actually returned back.
After hearing Chu Feng sound, another youthful and joyful sound could be heard.
"Brother, you're finally back. I've missed you so much!"
Chu Guyu was extremely happy., and with a few steps he arrived in front of Chu Feng and hugged him intensely.
Chu Feng returned back the hug, and he was actually feeling good.
'It seems like I really fused with the original soul.', He was now pretty sure from his own speculation.
'Well, it's not that bad.'
"I've also missed you brother." Chu Feng also hugged Chu Guyu strongly.
"I haven't seen you in 5 years. You've grown tall and more handsome. I almost didn't recognize you." Chu Guyu carefully assessed Chu Feng and his eyes were filled with joy and glee.
"But you are more taller.", said Chu Feng. While it was true, it was just some centimeters, but he choose to follow the course of the plot, as he really didn't know what to say.
"You are only so old. In a few more years, you will certainly be taller than me." Chu Guyu lovingly rubbed Chu Feng's head.
"Why didn't you even greet me when you came back?" Chu Yuan also walked over, and a un-concealable happiness was hung on his face. Although the Chu family members didn't view Chu Feng as part of the Chu family, in Chu Yuan's heart, Chu Feng was his son, and he was no different from Chu Guyu.
After exchanging some pleasantries, and talking about his achievement, joining the inner court, their conversation was broken, as the minister of the Chu family,Chief Zhao, brought a report.
"Mr. Chu Yuan, the master has asked for you and for young master Guyu to go over.", said Chief Zhao, as he explained that every part of the family is asked to come.
Chu Yuan nodded in understanding, as he called both his sons to tag along.
"Mr. Chu Yuan, the master only told you and young master Guyu to go." Just as they were going to move, they were stopped by Zhao, as he explain that only 'family' was called.
The duo father-son face grow uglier, as they could tell that Chief Zhao wouldn't dare to lie about this.
Chu Feng and while knowing this, still admired Chu Feng for his tolerance, because he wasn't similar to him the least, or maybe its just because 'he' was weaker than the current him?
"Chief Zhao, it's better to lead the way, without a lot of bullshits, I want to meet that old guy.", said Chu Feng with a cold voice, scaring both his father and brother.
Chied Zhao was even more shocked.
As he wanted to throw his tantrum, a terrifying formless aura came crashing down on him. HIs body kneeled in the ground, as his face turned white in fear.
"I will not repeat it again, move your ass away, and lead the fucking way.", said Chu Feng with a cold voice. His father was suddenly reminded of what happened 15 years ago, and his hair stood up from the terrifying thought.
Chu Guyu was dumbfounded, as he couldn't follow what's happening in front of him at all.
Chief Zhao nodded like a chicken, as he respectfully lead the way.
'Holy Shit!! even the old master can't have this kind of terrible pressure. The Chu Clan is about to change owners!' thought Chief Zhao, as he lead the way with a white face.
Chu Yuan and Chu Guyu tagged along but Chu Feng could tell that they were shaken to the core.
No one of them dared to talk, not that Chu Feng care. He doesn't have the time to waste on bouffons. His father want the clan? then he would gave it to him, clean the surrounding area from the other pests, gave them that core disciple flag later, and finish this farce.
Soon they were lead to a grand hall. Every member of the family was present. Seeing Chu Feng, people had a lot of varying thoughts and expressions.
Chu Renyi 'uncle' and another 'nameless uncle' didn't seems to be bothered, but Chu Nanshan, and the two others all have some unnatural reaction on their faces.
Chu Nanshan even showed a cold a smile, as he waited to watch a good show.
The youngsters also had different expressions. Those who knew Chu Feng had a cold sweat on their forehead, while others had a mocking smile such as Chu Xun or Chu Hongfei.
Chu Yuanba, the old master of the Chu clan, frown in dissatisfaction, as he glared to Chief Zhao and his son Chu Yuan.
"I clearly said, only family is allowed.", Chu Yuan tone was authoritative, as it take no concessions.
Everyone smiled at their old ancestor answer. Chu Feng even saw the people that came asking for him to forgive them, were obviously happy, which made him even sure, that he need not to feel bad any no longer. Even that slight attachment of the original Chu Feng, seems to grow weak and flimsy.
Chu Yuan, Chu Guyu and even Chief Zhao had a pale face as they heard Chu Yuanba.
They all thought 'ended!'
Chu Feng suddenly disappeared from his position, and the moment he appeared again, he was holding Chu Yuanba from his neck like a chicken.
Chu Yuanba was chocked, but feeling the formless aura coming from Chu Feng, he nearly pissed his pants. He could tell that he can die by a mere thought. That formless energy can crash hundreds of him.
"Father!!"
"Grandpa!!"
"Clan Leader!!"
Shouts of worry and fear could be heard, but no one dared to move, as all of their mind was blown by the scenery.
"It's great that you made it clear old man. Just family, and as we aren't family, nothing stop me from bursting your head, are we?", said Chu Feng, as his cold eyes peered through the old man soul.
Chu Yunaba eyes rimes were threatening to explode in tears, as he didn't want to die, he didn't want to die.
He desperately tried to ask for mercy, but he couldn't as his throat was blocked, and he had to go through a long process just to keep breathing.
"Chu Feng, please spare my father!!", Chu Yuan hurriedly kneeled on the ground as he asked his 'son' for forgiveness.
"Chu Feng Brother, please spare Grandfather!!", Chu Guyu also kneeled on the ground, asking for mercy.
Hearing Chu Yuan and Guyu, the others started to wake up, and each one of them trembled in fear. They all remembered how they bullied him, just for fun, and no one bother. They even disowned him after hearing that his talent wasn't much.
And now?! he was even able to hold the strongest powerhouse in their prideful clan like a chicken?!
Chu Feng let his eyes scan around the people present here, and he didn't care about his brother nor father.
"Why are you kneeling? you shouldn't be the one kneeling. If others didn't do it, then it's meaningless, maybe I should just make this Chu clan vanish from this mountain range. Don't you think so, Chu Yuanba?", said Chu Feng.
Hearing his claim, Yunaba shivered in despair, as he looked towards his other sons that were still standing with dumbfounded expression. If look could kill, he would have already killed them.
Catching his signal, everyone of them kneel hurriedly. Even the proud geniuses had to kneel with piss leaking from their pants.
"Good, now here is the deal. You would gave control of this clan to my father, and in exchange, I would clean this mountain range, and make it so that your clan become the small overlord here. Of course, if you don't want to, just forget it, I'll just kill each one of you.", said Chu Feng casually, as his grip tightened on the old man throat.
Chu Yunaba moved his whole body in a nodding dance. Even the others were nodding their heads like chicken.
Chu Feng throw the old man away.
"Father, brother, I'll finish my part of the deal, I hope you will not disappoint my trust. Because if it weren't for you, I would have killed them hundred times. By the way I'm a Profound Realm Expert. If you want to take revenge, you should at least have this level.
However, as an advice, at that time, I may have already become Heaven Realm. If I heard any rumors about my existence or power later, I'll return back to massacre you, clear?"
Everyone nodded like chicken with faces full of fear and despair.
Profound Realm? no wonder?!
Revenge? are you joking? Origin realm was already a legend for them, as for Profound Realm? the peak of powerhouses!
Seeing their obedient nature, he added.
"I will only be killing the origin powerhouses of both Ma and Xu clan and 9th, 8th, 7th Level of Spirit Realm. I won't be removing any roots, deal with it."
Chu Yuanba nodded happily, as he felt like he was in heaven. It was a hell of a roller coaster. From almost dying to the peak of life. He could already feel signs of breakthrough to the Second Level of Origin Realm
That day, Two Clans disappeared from the mountain range, swiftly and without any notice. The process was well hidden. Chu Feng Just let his formless aura do the job, as it was quite handy and secretive, as for the weaklings, he let them to the other clan members, as he didn't want to kill children and females just yet.
He didn't want to do it at all, that's why he doesn't want to provoke any super clans, until he got enough power to not bother with them.
