Synopsis
Being in a specialized field that is not supposed to exist, Devin Locksdale can never catch a break. From hunting vampires to drowning evil mermaids, she has done it all, and outside the eyes of the regular population.
When Devin is called to a regular home in a common neighborhood about a child that changes into a beast at night, she finds her hands are more than full. She has to not only figure out how to help this girl, who LIVES WITH HER FAMILY, but also keep the neighbors from finding out!
Not to mention, her family is not as normal as it seems...

Kay, so this is my review for this story! :) Writing quality is great. Story development as well, along with character design and the world background. I can say much about the stability of updates because I'm sure you have real life situation to deal with. What I can say about is that the story moves at great pace. It's not too slow nor is it too fast, it's just right. The inclusion of suspense and mystery is great too. It was detailed and obviously modeled after how books are read. There was even one paragraph that made me want to puke by the image that the words made me imagine. That's strong in my opinion, so the writing quality is superb. I give this story a 4.4/5 I just wished that the paragraphs in the first few chapters were separated. For better reading, that is. The paragraphs of where the character's thought are placed should be separated to make it easier on the reader to read the chapters. This story just needs a bit of polishing, but other than that, everything else is great! :)
The very first thing I thought about while reading the first chapter is Beauty and the Beast, so that is a plus for me. Although I was momentarily at lost about the POV I was still able to get the hang of it. I enjoyed the few chapters so far! RS
This is a great book as it gives a story with in-depth analysis of characters and has story arks. Already with the two chapters it has I'm deeply in love with this this book.
I am enjoying this book. I was convinced to read it by family. I am not a reader, but I like this format too! I hope the story develops further so there are sequels, and we can see other adventures. I like vampire stories myself.
Overall, it was a good story so far. There were just a minor hiccup on POV shifting, but who cares? I still enjoy the mystery of the plot. Keep it up!
