Chapter 32: Chapter 32: The Quest Has Begun!!

I woke up early the next morning. It was actually about 2 hours earlier than yesterday, which is weird for me. So I got up, and put my armor back on, same with my boots. I looked over to Orion and Onyx to see if they were awake or not. They weren't. I decided to let them sleep, then I headed out of the room quietly, and shut the door behind me. I walked towards the kitchen to see if Arialle was awake or not. She wasn't, so I was the only one awake. I decided to grab the food, and put it into my inventory. I grabbed the eggs, meat, spices, and everything else we needed. I decided I was going to make breakfast this morning.
So I looked through the fridge, and I noticed some leftover eggs and some bacon. I took them out of the fridge, and brought them next to the stove. I then grabbed the pan from yesterday, and put it on the burner, then lit it. It took it maybe 5 minutes before the tip was right. While the pan was heating, I decided to grab a bowl, and cracked open about 12 eggs. I then stirred them up until they were completely mixed together. I set them to the side, and grabbed the bacon. I cut up the bacon until the were tiny squares. I threw the bacon into the pan, and started cooking them. I took out some seasonings from my inventory, and spread some onto the bacon. I cooked the bacon until it was was turning brown, once the bacon was brown I threw in the eggs. I started stirring the eggs the moment they went into the pan. By this time Arialle had woken up, and came into the kitchen.
"What is that smell? It smells delicious!" She asked me.
"I'm cooking. I'm making eggs and bacon." I said to her without looking at her, I had to keep an eye on the eggs.
"I can't wait to try it!" She commented.
"Can you go wake Tyson, Orion, and Onyx up. I'm almost done with our food, but the only problem is I don't know what you feed Tyson exactly." I said to her.
"I can take care of Tyson's food, but yeah I'll go wake them up!" She said while walking towards the bed rooms.
"Alright, thanks!" I yelled at her.
The eggs were almost done, so I turned the burner off, and kept stirring the eggs. By the time she got back in here I already had the pan sitting on the table, and was getting Orion's and Onyx's food ready. She came back in, and got Tyson's food ready. We then put their food on the floor, and sat down to start grabbing ours.
"By the way, I've been meaning to ask this, but how do you have burners? I thought this world wasn't as advanced as mine was." I asked her.
"Oh, it is done with magic. The mages in town have made a fire spell that can heat up metal slowly until a certain temperature." She commented towards me while getting her plate filled with food.
"Oh ok, that is pretty ingenious." I said while I was also putting my food on my plate.
It took us maybe 20 minutes to eat all of the food, but it took the companions a little longer to finish theirs. After we were done eating, I took the dirty dishes, and started cleaning them. Arialle got her supplies for our trip for our quest. I already had everything ready on my end. I also put the spices back into my inventory before I forget them.
"We all ready?" I asked her.
"Yep, just gotta take Tyson over to the neighbor's house." She said.
We left the house, and dropped Tyson off at the neighbors. After that, we headed straight for the gate heading out of town.
"Do we have enough food to last us for the trip?" I then asked her.
"We don't, but I figured we could hunt to save us some money." She said.
"Alright, that works for me. If you want, I can hunt, and you cook." I said while smiling at her.
"Hahaha. . . Very funny. . ." She said while giggling a little bit.
"Alright, so where do we gotta go? Cause I have no idea of where they are." I asked her.
"Just follow me. They are about 2 days travel west of here, and it will probably take us a day or two to kill all of them. Then it will be two days return trip. So figure 5 or 6 days total for this." She said to me while turning west out of the gate.
"Alright, sounds easy enough. So how many wolves are to a pack? 5 or 6?" I then asked her.
"Yeah give or take. Sometimes there are less than that, or more than that." She commented.
"Alright, well I'm going to look out for deer, or something that we can eat." I told her.
"Ok!" She said.

"So, how much deer do you want?" I asked her while cutting up the deer.
"Eh, just give me a single portion for now, and save the rest of it." She said.
"By the way, you take first watch." I commented to her.
"I figured as much. . ." She said while looking down.
"What. . . I'll help you set up the traps at least!" I exclaimed to her.
"Alright!" She said smiling at me.
"Damn it. . . I fell for it." I commented.
"Yep you did!" She said.
I cut off a chunk each for Orion and Onyx, then I went around, and set up the traps we have. Arialle was busy cooking our food, so I went exploring for a little bit. Once the food was done, Arialle called out to me. Sadly, I didn't find anything out there. I went back towards her, and sat down waiting for her to hand me my piece. Once she did, I started eating it. It tasted delicious to me, since I had never had deer before.
"Wow! This taste really good! I've never had deer before!" I told her.
"Yeah, sometimes if you kill an older deer, the meat doesn't taste as good." She told me.
"Oh, I didn't know that." I commented.
"Alright, remember you are first watch! I'm going to head to bed early so I can get some more sleep, but not before I finish this deer." I said to her.
"Alright, get some sleep you muttonhead." She commented to me.
". . ." I looked at her silently.
It took me maybe 5 more minutes to finish the piece of deer I had. After I finished it I went to go lay down.
'You guys can stay up, and keep guard if you want. It is up to you.'
{{I'm going to stay up for a little bit.}} Onyx said.
{{If you don't mind, I feel like I should stay awake until Arialle goes to sleep. It would be safer that way.}}
'I agree, alright goodnight you two.'
{{Goodnight!}} They both said to me.

{Do you think it was alright to tell Phillip about where I came from? Cause he ended up having to tell Faylin. . .}
[Honestly, I can't say, but he did have to tell her. Remember he unblocked the amount of quest you are able to pick up. If he didn't do that, then it would take us longer to have you level.]
{Eh. . . True I guess. . . I just don't like the way things ended up.}
[I know you didn't, but sometimes stuff happens. There will be times when you can't control something, and it will eat at you.]
{I guess you are right, well I'm heading to bed. I'm already tired. . .}
